Federal authorities are expected to announce charges against eight more people today in a long-running investigation into how perhaps dozens of young men from the Minneapolis area were recruited to join an Al Qaeda-linked group in Somalia.

It will be the most significant and public move to date in the case.

I hear that Major Muslim Hasan, soldier of allah, will cop an insanity plea. Does that mean Islam is a mental illness? Four arrested in protest against Mosques in Wrexham

FOUR people were arrested at an anti-Muslim demonstration amid a strong police presence in Wrexham.

Around 40 members of a group calling themselves the Welsh Defence League (WDL) shouted racial abuse and gestured towards locals, saying they were protesting against plans for a new mosque. More here>>
