One would think that murdering thirteen Americans in the name of Islamic jihad would at least get you suspended without pay, but no such luck. “Banks won’t take Fort Hood shooting suspect’s paychecks, by Jeremy Schwartz for the American-Statesman, July 29 (thanks to JW):

As he sits in the Bell County Jail, accused of the Nov. 5 Fort Hood shooting that left 13 dead, Maj. Nidal Hasan continues to receive his monthly U.S. Army paycheck, which based on his rank and experience is probably more than $6,000.That’s standard procedure for soldiers who are confined before military trial, according to Army officials.

But Hasan, charged with a shooting spree that shocked the country, is not a standard defendant. And he’s having a hard time finding a bank to take his money.

According to his civilian attorney John Galligan , Bank of America notified Hasan last month that it was closing his account and no area bank so far has agreed to open an account for the Army psychiatrist. Military regulations require soldiers to be paid through direct deposit, making a bank account indispensable.

“I think it’s just another example of the prejudice that he’s been exposed to,” Galligan said. “It’s money that he’s entitled to, that he has a right to.”…

A right to? For reporting his patients for war crimes? For murdering Americans? For jihad?

World in Denial:

not naming the enemy, perverting language, avoiding words like “Muslims, Islam and Jihad” like the plague has made clowns out of politicians. The media is complicit and is equally guilty in their dereliction of duty to report the truth. The few who do, like Geert Wilders, are forced into hiding, are vilified, smeared, blackmailed and intimidated and face financial ruin due to law-fare, better known as financial jihad.

Here is another revolting article from AFP, citing an administration official, “who spoke on condition of anonymity”- and what did he say, this brilliant Obama official? Well, nothing really:

Rampage at Fort Hood was ‘act of terrorism’: US official

“He said it was unclear if the suspected gunman, army psychiatrist Major Nidal Hasan, was directed to act by outside extremists.”

“This is an ongoing investigation,” said the official. “Motivation is always a difficult thing to determine.”

Not. Nidal Hasan’s killing spree was an act of jihad. His personal jihad. Not “Sudden Jihad Syndrome”- just jihad. The duty of every believing Mohammedan, well planned and executed. He sought legal advice from his imam Anwar al-Awlaqi in Yemen, who assured him that spilling the blood of his compatriots in the army would please Allah. Nidal Hasans jihad is well documented here on this site and many others. Yet, the idea that a jihadist must be part of an organization or that the jihadist must have a “record of violence” to be a threat is preposterous. People who distort reality in this way need more than therapy. Preferably not from the likes of Hasan Nidal.

Compare this with the attacks on Rush:

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh and televangelist Pat Robertson are being scolded for their comments in the immediate aftermath of an earthquake in Haiti that has killed tens of thousands, according to early estimates.

Critics from both the left and right are denouncing their remarks as insensitive to the disaster and attempts to score political points off human tragedy.

He added: “We’ve already donated to Haiti. It’s called the U.S. income tax.

Rush is right!

Update:

Rush Limbaugh is not backing down from his claim that President Barack Obama is trying to score political points off the earthquake in Haiti.

Yet, no matter how much money is thrown down the big black hole in Haiti (or in Africa, or in Muslim occupied countries around the world) it will never make a difference. It will never make them like us, and it will never stop them from hating us and working towards our demise.

That’s why WH press secretary Gibbs is a worthless, lying POS. Because Limbaugh is right!

Rush Limbaugh Haiti earthquake comments are ‘really stupid,’ says White House press secretary Gibbs

and then this:

Islam Entities Take But Never Give

Gates of Vienna

Remember when Saudi Arabia said it was going to need financial aid in this ailing economy? The world snickered.

Now comes Haiti’s horrific earthquake. The world is putting money, supplies, and manpower (not to mention dog power — cf China) into the pot to help Haiti recover from this disaster.

But look at the list (below the fold). See any Muslim countries? I don’t either. Haiti is just a bunch of miserably poor infidels anyway.

The list of countries sending aid is below the fold. It includes Cuba, for heaven’s sake.

But there’s not a Muslim entity in sight. This is because they’re so poor, you see. Poor Saudi Arabia, for example. Lots of money for jihad but not a penny for infidel suffering. I guess they have their own trash to clean up?

I don’t believe in Hell. If there were such a place however, I know a particular group who’d have their own special circle in The Inferno, one reserved just for them…which is just as well since they don’t mingle with the dirty kuffar, even amid the fire and brimstone.

There is a rot that spreads outside of Washington into the larger culture. It begins with a confusion of terms, and by not calling things by their proper names, it begins with a disassembling of the moral categories. We don’t hear about terrorism or radical Islam so we are surprised to find it in our midst, and when we do, we don’t even recognize it. More>>

The Obama-bastard’s star is sinking like a stone. But how much more damage will he do before he is deposed? Whose side is this MF on? Certainly not on ours:

Why its Important to call Major Hasan an Islamist Terrorist

Yid with Lid

To some people the debate about whether the Fort Hood Jihadist was a terrorist is a silly semantics discussion. The Fact is two years ago we were warned that future acts of terror would not come from al-Qaeda but from home grown Jihadists. Back in 2007 the Council on Foreign Relationsreported:

Experts say it is quite likely the next terrorist attack in the United States will not be the work of well-trained al-Qaeda operatives sent from abroad, but rather that of an American citizen. As al-Qaeda leaders focus more of their energy on trying to inspire others to commit acts of terror, most security and counterterrorism officials believe their message will resonate with at least some small number of Americans. Such fears tend to focus on American Muslims, which might seem logical given recent events in Europe. Yet the American Islamic community also has proven one of the government’s best resources for preventing the emergence of homegrown Islamic terrorists.

“The possibility of a ‘homegrown’ terrorist attack against New York City or any other American city is real and is worsening with time (PDF),” Richard A. Falkenrath, New York City’s deputy police commissioner for counterterrorism, recently told the Senate Homeland Security Committee. This kind of threat is particularly troublesome to counterterrorism officials because it is hard to anticipate the motives or actions of a homegrown terrorist. Yet despite the high probability of a homegrown terrorist attack, experts say such an event is likely to have a relatively small impact when compared to attacks by conventional terrorist networks. As CFR Senior Fellow Steven Simon told a recent symposium, homegrown terrorists are often “feckless and ineffective,” though they have at times proven quite lethal. Simon cautioned that self-radicalized individuals and groups can become far more dangerous when they reach out for support from more established terrorist networks.

Two years after this report Major Hasan shot and killed 14 people at Fort Hood and we are still figuring out what to call it? Of course it is terrorism, it is what we were warned about. But we are are still ignoring the threat. That’s why it is so important to call Hasan’s action what it is…an act of terror, home grown terror. If our criminal authorities don’t start recognizing the domestic threat there will be many more Major Hasans threatening our lives:

Simple, Major Nidal Hassan told us so. You’ve seen reports of a long list of things he did and said along these lines. But what’s most amazing of all is this:

Hassan is the first terrorist in history to give an academic lecture explaining why he was about to attack. Yet that still isn’t enough for too many people–including the president of the United States–to understand that the murderous assault at Fort Hood was a Jihad attack.

Plenty of people could have stopped Malik Hasan but they were too scared to do so, writesRuth Dudley Edwards/The Independent

We need to talk about Islam, NOW!

Our concern for the rights of others may be eroding the foundations on which our democracy is based, writes Carol Hunt/ Independent

It was reported that the audience was shocked and frightened by his lecture. He was supposed to speak on some medical topic yet instead talked on the topic: “The Koranic World View as it Relates to Muslims in the U.S. Military.” All you have to do is look at the 50 Power Point slides and they tell you everything you need to know.

It is quite a good talk. He’s logical and presents his evidence. This is clearly not the work of a mad man or a fool, though there’s still a note of ambiguity in it. He’s still working out what to do in his own mind and is trying to figure out if he has a way out other than in effect deserting the U.S. army and becoming a Jihad warrior. Ultimately, he concluded that he could not be a proper Muslim without killing American soldiers. Obviously, other Muslims could reach different conclusions but Hassan strongly grounds himself in Islamic texts.

In a sense, Hassan’s lecture was a cry for help: Can anyone show me another way out? Can anyone refute my interpretation of Islam? One Muslim in the audience reportedly tried to do so. But unless these issues are openly discussed and debated–rather than swept under the rug–more people will die.

In fact, I’d recommend that teachers use this lecture in teaching classes on both Islam and Islamist politics. .

Follow along with me and you’ll understand everything.

Hassan deals with three topics: What Islam teaches Muslims, how Muslims view the wars in Afghanistan and Iran, how this might affect Muslims in the U.S. military. [Slide 2] Hassan defines Jihad, showing how silly are the claims that it only means a personal struggle to behave better. It also signifies holy war, of course. [Slide 5].

Now here’s Hassan’s central theme. Muslims cannot fight in an infidel army against other Muslims. And Hassan himself says that it’s getting hard for Muslims in the U.S. military to justify doing so. [Slide 11] Obviously, Hassan was deciding that he couldn’t do so.

He then quotes the Koran extensively to prove the point. Allah will punish anyone who kills a Muslim [Slide 12]. Hassan then gives four examples of Muslim soldiers who broke under the strain. One who killed fellow American soldiers (which Hassan would himself do), one accused of espionage (but was acquitted), one who deserted, and one who refused deployment to Iraq. [Slide 13]

Quoting the Koran, Hassan next provides a number of quotations to show that the believer must obey Allah. If they do, they will enjoy great delights (though he left out the 72 virgins, there’s one quote hinting at pederasty), and if they don’t they will suffer torments of Hell.

Finally, he gets into the heavy stuff. Hassan introduces the concept of “defensive Jihad” which is a core element in radical Islamist thinking and has especially been promoted by Usama bin Ladin and al-Qaida. [Slides 37-39]. If others attack and oppress Muslims, then it is the duty of all Muslims to fight them. September 11 was justified by its perpetrators by saying that the United States had attacked Muslims and therefore it was mandatory to kill Americans in return.

And here is the crux of the matter: Verse 60:08, “Allah forbids you…from dealing kindly and justly” with those who fight Muslims.” [Slide 40]

If Nidal Hassan believed this and would follow it, he must–to be a proper Muslim in his eyes–pick up a gun and join the Jihad, Muslim side. He was not shooting Americans because he caught battle fatigue from American soldiers he treated. Think about it. To have done so, Hassan would have had to sympathize with them, thinking about what it would be like for him if he’d been fighting…Muslims in Iraq or Afghanistan. But that was precisely his problem. He sympathized with the other side….

There is much more. Read it all.
