The Silence of the Lambs

There are lessons that we can learn from the enemy. There is little admirable in the evil machinations of the left’s tactics, but their defense of their own people is one of them. When one of their own is under attack, they circle the wagons, hunker down, dig in their heels and defend to the death, no matter how egregious the act (think John Edwards, Barney Frank, Charles Rangel, et al — a veritable rogues’ gallery).

The right lacks this quality. We tend to eat our own, and then wonder why we have no real leaders. The right allowed the jackals, the vultures to destroy Sarah Palin; even now we hear that she is unelectable (for 2012). Why? She’s perfect. Palin is the most glaring example, but she is but one in a long line. It has to stop. Would Tom DeLay have resigned if he had been a Democrat? Would Jack Ryan have pulled out of the US Senate race (against Obama, no less) if he had been a Democrat? The list is too long. The right has to man up.

There is a tendency for people to say that because we dont want to be like Saudi Arabia, then we must allow the mosque to be built…

The message is that because we are democratic, then we must be true to respecting religious freedoms and allow mosques to continue being built.

Saudi Arabia is undemocratic and wont allow non-Muslim religious buildings to be built.

The shallowness of the statement is recognized when we ask why Saudi Arabia does not allow non-muslim places of worship to be built. Consequently, the reason is because they are islamic!

Hence, if we dont want to be like Saudi Arabia, it’s high time that we stop mosques being built because Islam does not tolerate non-muslim places of worship. To continue to allow more mosques is tantamount to being like Saudi Arabia!

To every rule there is an exception. Our democracies cannot survive with a growing Islam in our midst. Hence, the exception…no more mosques…otherwise we will become like..you guessed it: Saudi Arabia!

That’s exactly why the intellectually superior editors of the Guardian instantly delete all opposing views in the comments. Its all for ‘the greater good,’ really. Its all about being ‘fair & balanced’, no s#*t!

People tell me that once upon a time the Guardian was known as a respectable newspaper. Nowadays it has become a nest for assorted Commies, radical Greens, terrorists, anarcho-progressives, all kinds of anti-Semites, Arab parasites, leeches who feed of them, conspiracy theorists, Jihadists, and other kinds of loons. The crazier, the better.

At the very least, if you are not a hate-preaching mufti or a one-legged lesbian with a glass eye who hates the world, or, at the very least an African or South American revolutionary, you haven’t got the chance of a snowflake in hell to get published.

This week, the Grunard has really come out and combined forces to attack the true enemies of progressive society: Pamela Geller & Robert Spencer, who are to be burned at the stakes for stirring the pot against the Islamization of America and the Ground Zero mega mosque. Imam Rauf’s 100 million dollar victory monument is salt in the wound of all Americans, but for the giggling, enlightened progressives at the Grunard opposing the mosque is far worse. Why? Because appeasement works so well, and since Muslims are doing so much to culturally enrich us every day, we need to make things easier on them, right?

The result of so much delusional bile can be seen here: The US blogger on a mission to halt ‘Islamic takeover’ from a goose by the name of Chris McGreal, who gets his feathers plucked instantly: The Guardian of What? McGreal is not only fact challenged, but also makes it up as he goes along. But isn’t spin and stupidity everything the left wing media has these days?

Advertisements on New York buses offering help to Muslims who wish to leave Islam have been denounced as a “smoke screen for anti-Muslim bigotry”. Telegraph UK

The advertisements – paid for by conservative activists – ask readers: “Leaving Islam? Fatwa on your head? Is your family threatening you?” The adverts point to a website called RefugefromIslam.com.

Pamela Geller, who leads an organisation called Stop Islamization of America, said the adverts were designed to help provide resources for Muslims who were fearful of leaving the faith. She said the adverts, which will run on 30 city buses for a month, cost $8,000 (£5,500), which was contributed by the readers of her blog, Atlas Shrugs, and other websites. More from Telegraph UK

Wonder of wonders — a news report that actually speaks honestly about Islamic apostasy, and points out CAIR’s tactics of personal destruction. “Detroit transit sued for nixing ‘Leaving Islam?’ ad,” by Michal Elseth for the Washington Times, May 27 (thanks to Pamela Geller via JW):

A bus-ad campaign that seeks to offer resources to those considering leaving Islam already has stirred up controversy in Miami and New York, but its next city may create the most fireworks – Detroit, the U.S. metropolitan area with the heaviest concentration of Middle Easterners.The Detroit-area bus authority has refused to run the ads from Stop Islamization of America, an organization headed up by conservative activist and anti-jihad blogger Pamela Geller, prompting SIOA to file a federal lawsuit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Mrs. Geller said the transport authority’s refusal to run her ads violates her First Amendment right of free speech, and she will take the lawsuit to the Supreme Court if necessary.

“It is against the law, and I tell you, those ads will go up whether they like it or not,” Mrs. Geller said….

Dawud Walid, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations of Michigan, said he expects that even if the ads do run in Detroit, they will not elicit any response besides puzzlement. The Detroit area, centering on Dearborn, is home to a quarter-million Muslims, whom Mr. Walid does not expect to react favorably to the presence of SIOA’s ads in their city.

“If she’s planning to put those Islamophobic ads in Detroit, she’s wasting her time,” Mr. Walid said.

The Detroit area also has a large Arab and Middle Eastern Christian population, centering on suburbs north of the city proper.

Mrs. Geller said SIOA began its national city-by-city ad campaign in response to bus ads in Florida inviting people to convert to Islam.

The SIOA ads read, “Fatwah on your head? Is your family or community threatening you? Leaving Islam? Got Questions? Get answers!” and provides a Web address that links to organizations that serve Muslim apostates. The bus ads are running in Miami through June 15 and began running in New York last week and will run through late June, Mrs. Geller said.

Part of the conflict centers on whether Muslims are free to leave Islam without retribution, and whether their families will punish or kill them for conversion.

One such case that has made national headlines in the U.S. involves 17-year-old Rifqa Bary, who fled her parents’ Ohio home to stay with a Florida Christian minister after she converted. In the ensuing custody and foster care disputes, her Muslim parents deny that the girl will be harmed if she returns home.

Abdul Rahman, an Afghan citizen, was arrested in 2006 for converting to Christianity there, and members of his family asked prosecutors to seek the death penalty. But the international outcry over Mr. Rahman’s case, and the fact that the Afghan government was installed by the U.S. invasion – plus doubts about the case and Mr. Rahman’s sanity – combined to prompt the court to release him.

The consensus view among Muslim jurists worldwide is that apostasy, unless mitigated by such factors as mental illness or duress, is punishable by death. Mrs. Geller cited a fatwa, or ruling point on Islamic law, issued by the authoritative Al-Azhar University in 1978, that said: “This man has committed apostasy; he must be given a chance to repent, and if he does not, then he must be killed, according to Shariah [law].”

Mr. Walid denied Mrs. Geller’s claims, though he provided no authoritative citations, and attacked Mrs. Geller’s character.

“She’s a well-known anti-Muslim bigot,” he said. “She makes no distinction between extremist Muslims and mainstream Muslims.”

Hmm, would be nice if Mr. Walid could sort ‘em out for us. Or do we have to wait for Allah?

Mr. Walid said that although there have been a few cases of violence against Muslims who convert away from the religion, there is no retribution for those who choose to leave Islam.

“People are free to leave Islam or any religion at any time. This is the United States of America,” he said.

But a public educator in Dearborn, speaking on the condition of anonymity owing to fear of retribution, said there is a climate of fear in the Detroit area’s Muslim community.

“The fear is palpable. I know there are things I am ‘not allowed’ to say. A discussion of religion with a Muslim person is often prefaced by the statement, ‘Dont say anything about the Prophet [Muhammad].’ In free society, open and honest conversation is not usually begun by a prohibition. Threats and intimidation are just part of life here.”

CAIR’s denial of the dangers of apostasy are part of the reason behind Mrs. Geller’s campaign, which she defined as a religious-freedom issue.

“We’re not encouraging people to leave Islam,” she said.

NEW YORK (AP) — After hours of contentious public comment, a New York City community board voted late Tuesday to support a plan to build a mosque and cultural center near ground zero.

“It’s a seed of peace,” board member Rob Townley said. “We believe that this is significant step in the Muslim community to counteract the hate and fanaticism in the minority of the community.”

“The moderate Muslim voice has been squashed in America,” said Bruce Wallace, who said he lost a nephew in the Sept. 11 attacks. “Here is a chance to allow moderate Muslims to teach people that not all Muslims are terrorists.” (BARF!)

Borough President Scott Stringer and other politicians entered the fray to support the project last week after Tea Party leader Mark Williams made inflammatory remarks about Muslims and the mosque. Williams and Stringer continued to trade barbs this week.

After the vote, Williams posted to his blog that Community Board 1 had allowed a “13 story tall middle finger aimed at 911 victims.”

When Rauf stood to address the crowd, he was shouted down by people yelling, “Murderer!” Dr. Rudina Odeh-Ramadan, who was temporarily buried under rubble twice while she worked to rescue people on 9/11, was booed when she revealed that she was a Muslim.

Obama makes it clear that the US submits to Islam:

“We have never been and will never be at war with Islam.”

That’ll work out just swell. Islam is at war with the world since its inception. Denial and appeasement doesn’t work, we all know that. But this is the age of the Obama-bastard, where nothing is what it seems…..

Hamas has called for a new intifada against the Jewish people. This is the fruit of Obama’s pro-jihad policies. The American-Israeli relationship has suffered its deepest rift in decades: a dispute over new Jewish homes that are being built in northern Jerusalem, just north of the Sanhedria neighborhood. This is not Arab “East Jerusalem,” as the mainstream media keeps saying. And as Palestinians threw stones at Israeli soldiers at checkpoints and Muslims rioted throughout Jerusalem, an increasingly pathetic Hillary Clinton said that Israel “must prove it is committed to peace ‘with actions.’”

In response, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu issued a statement saying, “With regard to commitments to peace, the government of Israel has proven over the last year that it is committed to peace, both in words and actions.” According to Haaretz, “The statement cited as examples Netanyahu’s inaugural foreign policy speech made at Bar Ilan University, the removal of hundreds of roadblocks across the West Bank, and its decision to freeze temporarily construction in West Bank settlements. The latter, said the statement, was even called by Clinton an ‘unprecedented’ move.”

The world has been down this road before. Tuesday, Muslims fought police in Hebron, which was the site of a Muslim massacre of Jews in 1929 — one of many jihads in Hebron. “It was not known until after that war,” writes Pearlman, “that Haj Amin’s anti-Jewish activities had extended beyond the incitement stage.” In fact:

It is now established that, but for Haj Amin, the scale of murder might not have been so extensive, and hundreds of thousands of Jewish lives might have been saved.

A hint of the Mufti’s complicity in the Holocaust came in a radio address he made on September 21, 1944 (the Nazis had given him his own radio show, which he used to preach Jew-hatred to the Arabs). He asked, “Is it not in your power, O Arabs, to repulse the Jews whose number does not exceed eleven millions?”

Why “eleven millions”? No one outside Germany knew at the time the scale of Jewish extermination. It was known that before the war the Jewish population numbered nearly seventeen millions. The ex-Mufti’s figure was written off at the time as a slip of the tongue, or an error in the script. But now the facts are known. It was no arithmetic error. Haj Amin knew then what only Hitler, Himmler and Eichmann knew: that more than five million Jews had been liquidated.

Dieter Wisliceny, a close associate of Holocaust architect Adolf Eichmann, stated that al-Husseini repeatedly suggested to the various authorities with whom he has been in contact, above all before Hitler, Ribbentrop and Himmler, the extermination of European Jewry. He considered this as a comfortable solution of the Palestine problem. In his messages broadcast from Berlin, he surpassed us in anti-Jewish attacks. He was one of Eichmann’s best friends and has constantly incited him to accelerate the extermination measures. I heard say that, accompanied by Eichmann, he has visited incognito the gas chamber at Auschwitz.

Yet of all those who planned the Holocaust and put the plans into effect, only the Mufti after the war remained free and unpunished. All the others were executed or tried in absentia. Among the Palestinians today, the Mufti is a hero, and his Jew-hating rhetoric is echoed on a regular basis on official Palestinian TV.

Obama has nothing to say about that. Instead, he is pressuring Israel.

In this, Obama is staying true to his hard-left pedigree. The left in America has become sick with Jew-hatred. Foreign Policy is reporting that Israel’s intransigence could cost American lives The jihad that is murdering tens of thousands of infidels across the world and is demanded by the Quran is now the fault of the Jews. How very Muslim.

In putting America’s power and prestige on the side of the Mufti’s ideological kin as this new intifada begins, Obama shares the responsibility for the massacres of Jews that are sure to come.

Europe’s looming demise

“The Europe as you know it from visiting, from your parents or friends is on the verge of collapsing,” Geert Wilders said in a speech in the United States last year.

The leader of the Netherlands’ populist Party for Freedom added: “We are now witnessing profound changes that will forever alter Europe’s destiny and might send the Continent in what Ronald Reagan called ‘a thousand years of darkness.’ ” And not just Europe, but America as well.

Been to Europe lately? Thought it was bad? You ain’t seen nothing yet. The passage of the Lisbon Treaty, hailed by President Obama, nailed the coffin shut on national sovereignty in Europe. The people of Europe fought it, but were overwhelmed by their political elites and the lack of American leadership in this age of our rather Marxist, collectivist U.S. president.

Come Jan. 1, 2010, a disastrous and suicidal pact called the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership (Europe/Mediterranean) goes into effect with little fanfare or examination. It boggles the mind that such a consequential and seismic cultural shift could be mandated and put into play without so much as a murmur from the mainstream media.

Why should Americans care about this? Americans have to care because this global gobbledygook is coming to our shores, thanks to our globalist president.

The European human rights group called Stop the Islamization of Europe (SIOE) has been working tirelessly to expose the mass Muslim immigration plan of the Euro-Med Partnership.

A statement on the SIOE Web site criticizes the secrecy of the process: “It was shocking to hear about the plans and at the same time knowing that Danish politicians and a [cowardly] Danish press – who is otherwise proud to be critical – has told nothing to the Danish people about this project which begins in January.

This also showed clearly at the conference. Only very few politicians showed up and no media. Those politicians who showed up had obviously never heard about the Euro-Mediterranean project.

The goal of the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation is to create a new Greater European Union encompassing both Europe and North Africa, with the Mediterranean Sea becoming a domestic Eurabian sea. The goal is to establish a “comprehensive political partnership,” including a “free trade area and economic integration”; “considerably more money for the partners” (that is, more European money flowing into North Africa); and “cultural partnership” – that is, importation of Islamic culture into post-Christian Europe.

According to the SIOE, in the Euro-Med plan “Europe is to be islamized. Democracy, Christianity, European culture and Europeans are to be driven out of Europe. Fifty million North Africans from Muslim countries are to be imported into the EU.”

Skeptical? It’s already happening. The British newspaper the Daily Express reported in October 2008 on “a controversial taxpayer-funded ‘job centre’ ” that opened in Mali at that time as “just the first step towards promoting ‘free movement of people in Africa and the EU.’ Brussels economists claim Britain and other EU states will ‘need’ 56 million immigrant workers between them by 2050 to make up for the ‘demographic decline’ due to falling birthrates and rising death rates across Europe.”

To offset this decline, a “blue card” system is to be created that will allow card holders to travel freely within the European Union and have full rights to work – as well as the full right to collect welfare benefits.

A Muslim population from Africa moving freely into Europe threatens America. On Christmas Day, a Nigerian Muslim flew from Amsterdam to Detroit and tried to explode a bomb on the plane – after he was allowed to board the plane without a passport. The Euro-Mediterranean Partnership will make jihad attacks like this one all the easier.

And once in Europe, Muslims have already begun demanding special privileges and accommodations. IslamOnline reported on Dec. 21 that “Muslims activists from 26 European countries have come together to launch the first rights council to enlighten European Muslims about their rights, monitor rising Islamophobia and defend Muslim rights in European courts of law.”

Ali Abu Shwaima, a Muslim leader in Italy, explained: “We think European human rights groups are not doing enough to defend the rights of Muslims. Therefore we thought that we need this new council, especially that all laws and constitutions in Europe respect freedom of religion and oppose all forms of discrimination and racism.”

“Islamophobia,” “discrimination” and “racism” are all terms Muslims in Europe and America use to confuse people into thinking that the perpetrators of Islamic terrorism are the real victims. And it is working: Mr. Wilders is going on trial in the Netherlands, instead of all the Islamic hate sponsors he is fighting against. It has to be this way, to increase harmony among the Muslim and non-Muslim member states of the Euro-Med Partnership.

This internationalism is already destroying what has made Europe free and great. And now Mr. Obama seems to want to do the same to America.
