Remember Rachida Dati? Sarkozy’s poster Muslimah, more arrogant than Madame Pompidour and a snappy dresser to boot, courtesy of Dior’s designer in chief John Galliano? Well, it now appears that the cocky 43 year old has hit the mattresses: after she had a child out of wedlock,  her drug-dealing brothers (she got them out of the slammer, connections, connections…) are looking for her. And since they’re all from a “devout” Muslim family, who would be surprised if there’s not another honor killing in the making….

Former French justice minister Rachida Dati ‘brought shame on her strictly Muslim family’ by becoming a single mother, a scathing book by her own brother claims.

Ms Dati, now a Euro MP in Brussels, was described as ‘cold, egocentric and authoritarian’ by Jamal Dati in a blistering attack on his sister.

His book, ‘In The Shadow Of Rachida’, tells how their staunchly Muslim father ‘lost all pride’ when his daughter’s pregnancy outside wedlock became public.

Mr Dati, 42, said: ‘For two months my father repeated that it was over, and he no longer wanted to see her.

‘We have all been dishonoured by this. We are Muslims after all.

‘My father is from the old school, and so fairly strict.’
