* Actually not. Westergaard ‘doesn’t agree with Wilders views about Islam’ and seems to think that he can somehow save his ass from the the Muhammad worshippers who’d love to chop his head off. So why not rip off a brave fellow man who made a short film that makes the soldiers of Allah wanna kill him?

Dutch filmmaker settles with Muhammad cartoonist

COPENHAGEN, Denmark: A Danish cartoonist says he has received 55,000 kroner (US$10,663) from Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders in a copyright dispute over a drawing of the Prophet Muhammad that was originally part of Wilders’ anti-Quran film.

Kurt Westergaard says Wilders used his cartoon without permission. The film, which sparked angry protests in Muslim countries, sets verses of the Quran against a background of images from terrorist attacks. The drawing eventually was removed from the movie.

French lawyers to the rescue!

AMMAN - A group of French lawyers are currently studying the possibility of filing a lawsuit against Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard in support of the “Messenger of Allah Unites Us” campaign.

Osama Bitar, a lawyer with the campaign, said on Saturday that French lawyers have expressed their support for the campaign and its lawsuit against Westergaard, who drew inflammatory caricatures seen as insulting to the Prophet Mohammad.
