Scotland’s first Muslim Police Association is being created in an attempt to encourage more Muslims to join and stay in the force.
Strathclyde Police hopes the group will also help tackle Islamophobia and improve understanding of Islam.
Pc Amar Shakoor, who was Scotland’s first Muslim officer, said negativity had recently been directed towards the Muslim community.
He said the association hoped to put Islam in a more positive light.
“We want to highlight some of the positive things Islam can provide to the communities and not just the police services,” he said.

strathclyde appears to be the epicentre of PC & dhimmitude. A couple of years ago 4 firemen got themselves into all sorts of grief when they refused to become eyecandy at a gaypride rally, defied their “superiors” by not attending in order to hand out fire safety leaflets
It was sickening to watch the police allow themselves to be backed up against a wall. What’s wrong with them? Surely billy clubs or rubber bullets should have been used. Absolutely disgusting. Britain has given up.
We’re only a decade behind them, and I think the early signs in Oz are looking bad. Rudd’s allowing in more refugees from the horn of Africa, so it appears we are in line to repeat UK’s mistakes and won’t deal with the situation like grown ups.
Hijabs are a regular sight where I live. Tip of the iceberg I suspect.

I only noticed about 7 policemen. You would need a lot of reinforcements for these type of crowds. A positive reaction to this type of madness would mean 7 people would get killed. This shit only needs an excuse.
The police must not be deterred from going to these places. What they must do is begin to make it known that if they ask for reinforcements, they must be provided in order to arrest these people.
If reinforcement fail to be provided, they ought to make clear that they will stop providing protection for those who are responsible for upholding the law…people like the prime minister, the mayor…etc.
When watching the video apart from feeling rage, i foresee a future headline police slaughtered by baying moslems, but i can gaurantee like this video the headlines will appear on blogs only.

When i discuss this subject with people in my own locality they simply have no idea whatsoever what is happening in any other area of the country.
The police rank and file should stop all the neo marxist shit and down tools untill something is done!
I can tell you video’s like the one above are now being seen more widely and folk are becoming more than outraged at this constant appeasement of what amounts to a death cult!
