Dispatches Report via Vlad Tepes:
Happens to often, don’t you think?
From the Daily Mail:Â Jockey from Dubai mowed down and killed toddler in the UK after forgetting which side of the road to drive on ….
“Lord Ahmed” was quickly released after killing a man… Â while texting on the phone….
It happens in Israel: Â Issa Ibrahim Islam, a truck driver went on a killing rampage on Nakba Day….
It happens in Italy:Â Eight cyclists killed in accident in Italy
La Repubblica has named the driver of the car as Chafik Elketani, a 21-year-old of Moroccan origin. He is reported to have been under the influence of marijuana at the time of the crash. He was also driving without a licence, as he was serving a six-month suspension for dangerous driving.
A few days ago my colleague Eeyore touched upon the now notorious “British National Union of Journalists guidelines on race reporting”.
Today brings another example of what these astonishing set of instructions, in a supposedly “free” country, mean in practise: the deliberate and intentional concealment of reality. The purposeful avoidance of reporting unpalatable truths.
