"We must talk to them, understand their anger, listen to them…"

Inflated egos, BS-peddlers and  the insufferable Vitrioli

In the world of crossbencher David Leyonhjelm, it seems any absurdity is possible when it comes to his disregard for the decency and morality of ASIO agents, whom he believes need a law to tell them not to torture victims. He led the way in calling for legislation to stop ASIO from indulging in torture. This must be deeply offensive to those working in an agency that almost certainly prevented the death and torture of an innocent Australian on the streets of Sydney last week.

I’m calling “bullshit”. –Catallaxyfiles disagrees.

The insufferable Vitrioli on “our” ABC is at it again:

….babbling stupidly about “alienation” and the “root causes” (Israel)  Virginia Trioli and her sidekick just can’t imagine why a young Koranimal would go on a stabbing spree against the police. It can’t possibly have anything to do with Islam, because we all know that Islam is a religion of peace and all other religions are just as bad….

We should treat Osama bin Laden like a human being, not bomb the hell out of him:

“…bring him somewhere, absolutely safely, sitting down with him, treating him like a human being and talking about it, and then Osama bin Laden going home again,

”Talk to him, understand their anger, listen to them.”

Just in case you missed it: Vlad Tepes

It is time we profiled Muslims:

A Disbeliever Cannot Befriend a Muslim:

Have a good listen to what this British journalist has to say before he was captured by the Islamic State and then ask yourself if the British Government should enrich the terrorist group by paying a ransom to get him back.

There’s a riot going on:

PRISON officers in riot gear have used tear gas to control maximum security inmates who tore apart Goulburn Jail in a racially fuelled riot described as the biggest in 10 years.

With shouts of “Allah Akbar”, prisoners armed with homemade weapons threatened guards and smashed through an internal fence at the state’s toughest jail, which was in lockdown yesterday.

  1. “…My life is not pleasant right now living in this country and no-one seems to care because I am Muslim and they’re not….”

That’s such a terrible situation, Rebecca …. I feel almost as badly for you as most of the arab middle east did when they heard the news of 9/11.

But has it ever occurred to you that you don’t HAVE to stay in Australia. If islam is what you want there are plenty of countries able to give you the whole islamic fantasy package very cheaply – and without any of those disgusting, pesky infidels to spoil your experience.

Libya, Egypt, Saudi, Iraq, pakistan, Sudan, Alegeria come to mind.

I left out Iran – because , well, you’ve convinced yourself you’re a Sunni, right?
