It was not so long ago, WildCol, that homosexuals were simply asking to be left in peace. Whatever our views were about homosexual acts, we obliged. But it was not enough, and we now have to have homosexuality wherever we look, we have to see heterosexuality and traditional marriage and childraising denigrated and mocked, we have to see vulgar displays on our streets, and we now have learned that gay marriage is just “one step” on the path to equality. What is next on the agenda?
Please forgive us if we are uncomfortable about our dignified churches being used as bawdy wedding reception centres by people who have for decades vilified Christianity or wanted to appropriate its structures, or both.
I understand very well how Obama stacked the deck. Most people who remembered him as ‘Bathhouse Barry’ were murdered or disappeared. The Supreme Court got the message.
