• We are rightfully very proud in this country, that through the encouragement of risk-taking and wealth creation, we are able to afford to list life-saving drugs on the PBS, enabling Australian citizens access to medicines that would otherwise be unaffordable.
• However, currently in our nation, we have the obscenity that Australians are being denied access to a medicine and denied access to a medical treatment – that the overwhelming evidence shows is saving lives around the world.
