The interesting connection between Lidia Thorpe & the Mohammedans

All you have to do is to connect the dots. That is indeed a matter of urgency. The Mohammedans are very crafty, when it comes to advancing their power base by employing useful idiots for the cause. This vile Aboriginal spokesturd Thorpe, now in a position she has no business being in, serves their purpose to white-ant the system from within.

Ah yes, that treaty between Muhammad & the Jews of Medina. It took less than seven years, and there was not a Jew left in Medina.

Culture Wars:

“Our censorious age has worked out how to simultaneously kill off students’ ability to learn and distort the pleasures and richness of the West’s finest works – now that is genuinely triggering”

Manchester Metropolitan University has decided to alert students to potentially disturbing content in a translation of the Miracles of the Hand of St James, a Medieval text

If British universities are to be believed medieval religion is ‘triggering’, but porn isn’t

The problem is the mystifying decision by universities to chivvy until all anyone can think about is whether or not something is offensive

It was always a matter of time before religion was billed as too triggering for today’s undergraduates – at least too triggering to be presented without warning. Manchester Metropolitan University has decided to alert students to potentially disturbing content in a translation of the Miracles of the Hand of St James, a Medieval text. “Warning,” students were told. “Some of the miracles can be pretty graphic and may be off-putting to some.” Staff also felt that some of the wording in the 1970s translation by Brian Kemp was “outdated” and ran the risk of causing further offence.

Today’s students grow up on the excesses of digital pornography, in which choking, whipping, and bondage are standard, play incredibly violent video games, and stream Netflix series full of horror and blood. And yet they are treated as if an old text describing in archaic language a woman coughing up “a great deal of blood” before her foot was healed could genuinely disturb them.

Germany: climate shysters will destroy capitalism & deindustrialise

That’s the plan. But not so fast: somebody is backpedaling, furiously…

Germany is firing up old coal plants, sparking fears climate goals will go up in smoke

BEXBACH, Germany — The last coal pits around Bexbach closed a decade ago, leaving the power plant puffing plumes of pollutants as a relic of a dying regional industry.

But now plant equipment is being repaired, contractors have come out of retirement, and manager Michael Lux is faced with a novel prospect: expanding the head count.

Green Fail: Germany to Reconnect First Coal Power Plant to Energy Grid

In a demonstration of the failure of Germany’s pursuit of so-called “green energy” and its policy of relying on Russian gas in the meantime, a coal-fired power plant will be reconnected to the nation’s electricity grid.

While the economic powerhouse of Europe — so called — scrambles to secure energy sources before the winter months, the previously shuttered Mehrum coal power plant in Lower Saxony will become the first to once again be connected to Germany’s grid.

“It’s a good feeling to be hiring,” he said, as he sat down to discuss plans to transition Bexbach, in the southwestern German state of Saarland, from “reserve” status back to full capacity. By winter, Lux expects to be burning a minimum of 100,000 metric tons of coal a month, in what some in the industry have dubbed a “spring” for Germany’s coal-fired power plants.

Dutch Farmer Protests: Far-Left Extremists Threaten to Attack Businesses of ‘Right-Wing’ Farmers

AMSTERDAM, the NETHERLANDS – JULY 23: Demonstrators attend a rally of the Netherland In Resistance group sympathizers to support farmers, fishermen and truckers, on Dam Square in Amsterdam on July 23, 2022.

Far-left extremists in the Netherlands have threatened to attack farms in the country belonging to “right-wing nationalists”.

The threat by far-left extremists in the Netherlands comes as farmers continue to fight EU green agenda measures in their country that could result in the closure of up to 30 percent of livestock farms, something local government officials have decreed is part and parcel of an “unavoidable transition”.

According to a report by Der Telegraaf, extremists have threatened that they will soon occupy barns of “far-right nationalists” — also known as farmers trying to protect their livelihoods — in the country, and let lose livestock from their pens.

“From next week we will occupy livestock farms and free the animals from the mega stables,” the publication reports one online declaration associated with the extremists as saying, who also took time to denounce the farmers themselves.

“They are right-wing nationalists and comparable to Nazis for the animals,” the post said, while urging netizens to join the so-called ‘Animals Defense Force’.

“The extreme farming scum must be tracked down and locked up,” the netizen also reportedly wrote.

The posts have promoted a serious response from farming organisation LTO Nederland, which in a statement asked its members to “to be vigilant, but also to keep the peace”.

“LTO Nederland is concerned about messages circulating on social media from the extremist corner of animal activists calling for barn occupations,” a statement by the group published on Thursday read.

“LTO Nederland takes these kinds of threatening messages very seriously and calls on its members to remain vigilant for possible actions,” it continued.

“It is important that farmers know what they can do to prevent incidents by animal extremists, but also how to act in the event of a suspicious situation or an actual burglary,” the statement goes on to say.

Creepy Joe didn’t do that

When is a Recession not a Recession? When The Financial Media Need to Protect Joe Biden

.

The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) is scheduled to deliver their calculation for the second quarter (Apr, May, June) Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on July 28, next week.   The calculation is essentially the total value of all goods and services generated within the U.S. economy, minus the value of exports received.

CTH has predicted the people within the BEA research group [SEE HERE], ie those who make the determinations of GDP, will circle the statistical wagons and generate something akin to a positive 0.5% GDP figure for Q2.

The reason is simple… As with all other highly political institutions in U.S. government, the BEA is driven by political ideology.

With the Biden administration’s Green New Deal energy policy driving the U.S. economy into the ground; and with the BEA statisticians worshipping at the same governmental altar as all other climate change ideologues; they will do everything in their power to defend what the people behind Joe Biden are doing.

[For the greater good and all things that are associated with that line of elitist thinking.]

The BEA data team will first play with the statistics by underestimating the rate of inflation in their value calculations.  If that effort doesn’t yield the desired result, the BEA will likely move to avoid calculating import data from the West coast (Port of LA, Port of Long Beach, and/or Port of Oakland) for the month of June.  The current labor union and trucker issues within the ports will help create the noise to justify any interim data that is false.  [Whoops, we’ll catch it in the updates, etc]

That’s just how this BEA crew rolls.  If they can save the planet by fudging the statistics, well, they will have done their part.  This approach, the expression of ‘their truth‘, is just an outcome of this great new era of pretending in our modern ideological banana republic. Hey, Wall Street is built upon a foundation of lies, insider trades on proprietary information and manipulation of values, so why shouldn’t everything else – including govt economic data?  Fair’s fair, right?

IDF operation in Gaza targets Islamic Jihad military posts, terror cells

Over 160 rockets were shot into Israel by the Islamic Jihad on Friday night.

Who was Tayseer al-Jabari, the top Islamic Jihad commander killed by Israel?

Tayseer al-Jabari, the top Islamic Jihad commander killed in the Israeli bombing of an apartment in the Gaza Strip on Friday, was in charge of the terrorist group’s rocket arsenal and was its primary coordinator with Hamas.

He replaced Baha Abu Al-Ata, another Islamic Jihad commander, who Israel killed in a similar airstrike in November 2019.

Operation Breaking Dawn: Will Hamas join the fight? – analysis

Israel hopes that circumstances within the Strip, including the responsibility the group has to residents of Gaza, will prevent them from firing rockets.

The ruling terror group in the Gaza Strip, Hamas, has so far not fired any rockets toward Israel, choosing instead to stay out of the fighting between the IDF and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
.
The IDF said it hopes Hamas will stay out of the fighting, and that the group is currently sitting on the fence about whether to join in any fighting that may break out.
.

In 2019 when the IDF launched Operation Black Belt after targeting the group’s leader in the northern Strip Baha Abu al-Ata, Hamas refrained from taking part in the fighting between the Israeli military and Islamic Jihad.

The operation lasted 48 hours and saw the terror group fire 450 rockets toward Israel.

Israel hopes that circumstances within the Strip, including the responsibility the group has to residents of Gaza, will prevent them from firing rockets as well.

Earlier on Friday afternoon, the military allowed fuel into Gaza to prevent a total shutdown of the sole power plant in the Strip, which already operates on a limited capacity. Without the plant, Gaza would be dependent on external power largely from Israel, which provides 120 megawatts daily.

New Zealand braces for wave of anti-government protests

Kiwis outraged as Jacinda Ardern’s government faces its toughest backlash yet

New Zealand is bracing for widespread anti-government protests planned across the country over coming weeks, with a large-scale demonstration to be held in Auckland on Saturday.

It comes as Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is facing public backlash over her Labour government’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic and the knock-on impact felt from the cost of living crisis.

The New Zealand government pushed one of the world’s strictest Covid elimination strategies that protesters say has led to the nation now on the verge of reaching ‘State-of-Emergency’ levels.

The Freedom and Rights Coalition, the group behind the upcoming protest, will stage a “Kiwi Patriots Day and March” at Auckland’s Domain on Saturday morning.

Led by Destiny Church’s Brian Tamaki, the group has issued a call on social media for people to join the disruptive action while a counter-protest is also gaining momentum with police engaging with the groups in a bid to maintain order.

The New Zealand Herald reports:

Police have confirmed they are in talks with organisers of this weekend’s anti-Government protest in and around Auckland Domain, which organisers threaten will be “impactive”.

A police spokesperson said they were discussing potential routes and plans with the group.

“Police recognise the lawful right to protest. We also recognise the rights of the public to go about their lawful business.

“We will monitor and respond to the situation accordingly to ensure public safety and to make sure any disruption to the public is kept to a minimum.”

The latest planned action comes just two weeks after a similar mass rally and march brought Auckland’s Southern Motorway to a standstill when demonstrators unexpectedly walked a stretch of motorway.

Hundreds marched up an on ramp and onto the busy highway bringing traffic to a halt in both directions catching commuters by surprise.

Protest organisers are calling the latest action an “opportunity to unite freedom fighters across the North Island and rally the public for the coming events ahead”.

A second event is planned for Christchurch the following weekend.
