Gazan sources report that Hazem Bassam Mousa, a Hamas military wing commander who participated in the October 7 attack, died from wounds sustained in an Israeli strike near Khan Yunis.

Israeli airstrikes overnight Saturday and into Sunday killed at least 17 people, according to local health officials, and a senior Israeli minister vowed that strikes in the territory will not stop despite Hamas signing a US-backed disarmament plan and earlier reports that Israel agreed to halt attacks.

The US announced Friday that the terror group had agreed to the Board of Peace’s disarmament plan, which envisions Israeli strikes ending immediately once it is in place, as well as the transfer of all weapons to a Palestinian police force under the authority of the new technocratic government in Gaza. Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the other main terror faction in the Strip, reportedly also signed off on the plan.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has yet to officially comment on the development, leaving top ministers and anonymous “senior officials” to voice Israel’s disapproval of the plan, despite US President Donald Trump’s assurance that Israel was “very happy” with the deal. Adding to the confusion, a senior Palestinian figure close to the Trump administration said Saturday that Israel had agreed to halt its strikes in Gaza, only to delete the post less than two hours later as Israel stepped up its attacks in the Strip.

The battle against jihadists in Gaza is far from over. Hamas is relentless, and talk that is circulating about the Muslim Brotherhood offshoot being defeated is a hope, not reality. Hamas is governed by an ideology which cannot be defeated militarily. As fast as the IDF takes out one leader, another one arises, while Israel is accused of brutality. Hamas can, however, be drastically reduced in strength, and the IDF is accomplishing this.

The West also has to crack down with zero tolerance on all Muslim entities which have funneled money to Hamas.

The IDF struck Hamas Nukhba commanders this evening (Tuesday) while they were holding a meeting in the Shati area, near the Gaza port. According to Arab reports, seven people were killed in the strike, and 14 others were wounded.

Gazans reported that the strike targeted a café in the coastal area of Gaza City. The IDF stated that among those targeted were a company commander, three platoon commanders, and additional terrorists.

According to the IDF, the terrorists who met at the site were advancing plans for terrorist attacks against forces operating in the Gaza Strip. The military added that one of the terrorists targeted in the strike participated in the October 7 massacre and infiltrated Israeli territory that day.

My whole life, I have supported a two-state solution, certainly conceptually.

I’m not religious, and for me, this isn’t about the Torah promising us this land. But I do support 100% the existence of a Jewish homeland, the State of Israel, and I also believe that Palestinians, like Jews, have some legitimate claim to that land.

If I could go back in time to 1947–48, I would have liked to see the Palestinians accept the UN partition plan. It was an imperfect solution to an extraordinarily complex problem, but I believe that had they accepted it, we would be living in a far better world today. Sadly, that wasn’t the direction they chose.

1) The Amalekites – who makes themselves leaders by force, and are scourges to Israel

2) The Nefilim (or ‘fallen ones’) – who fall into fornication with fair women

3) The Gibborim (‘mighty ones’) – these men build synagogues and yeshivot and place in them Torah Scrolls with rich ornaments, but they do it not for the sake of G-d, but only to make themselves a name

4) The Refaim (‘weak ones’) – who, if they see Israel in trouble, abandon them, even though they are in a position to help them, and they also neglect the Torah and its students in order to ingratiate themselves with non-Jews.

And lastly;

5) The Anakim (‘giants’) – who tend to bring the world back to the state of ‘tohu vabohu‘ and they caused the destruction of the temple.

Practically speaking, this is where Rebbe Nachman’s approach of acknowledging and eradicating Erev Rav character traits really starts to come into its own, because none of us are perfect, and at least occasionally, we’ll all be guilty of behaving in a way that’s typical of the Erev Rav. Israel: the IDF arranges meetings with the virgins….

The @IDF eliminated Mahmoud Fatair, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad Nukhba commander who participated in the October 7 massacre and helped hold Rom Braslavski hostage in Gaza.

Fatair also appeared in PIJ uniform during hostage handover ceremonies and was recently advancing terror attacks against Israeli troops and civilians.

The IDF will continue operating to eliminate every threat against the people of Israel.

The Israel Defense Forces eliminated Ahmed Hussein Mohammed Kafina, commander of Kataeb al-Mujahideen in central Gaza, who participated in the abduction of Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or and directed the abduction of Sudthisak Rinthalak during the October 7 massacre.

Throughout the war, he continued advancing terror attacks against Israeli troops and civilians.

The @idf will continue operating to defend the people of Israel.

The Israeli army and its security agency Shin Bet have claimed they destroyed five Hamas weapon depots in the Gaza Strip overnight.

The army said one of the weapon depots was located adjacent to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah and alleged that these sites were used by Hamas to store assault rifles, explosive devices, anti-tank launchers and other military equipment.

Israel’s military has carried out several more deadly air attacks in Gaza – one killing a person in Deir el-Balah and another killing a person in al-Mawasi area, according to local hospital sources and our colleagues on the ground.
