Are We Tolerant of Treason & Genocide?

Lets give Erdogan a price for tolerating us!

Germany: Irony-impaired group set to award Turkish PM “tolerance” prize

Erdogan’s behavior toward Germany alone should disqualify him for that. As this report observes, he has “irked Berlin with his calls to Germany’s large ethnic Turkish community not to assimilate.” There is also the ongoing denial of the Armenian genocide, and the erosion of secular institutions in Turkey, among other things.  (A price for intolerance-JW)

Maybe it’s a prize for one-way “tolerance.” That, he would deserve. “Turkish PM cancels German trip, protests go ahead,” from Reuters, March 17:

Beats me why the Germans put up with this, why they even allow him back into the country. Smells like deep rooted dhimmitude:

Turks in Germany: The Guests Take Over the House

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan was in Germany on November 1 and 2 to mark the 50th anniversary of a German-Turkish agreement on guest workers.

Erdogan turned what was supposed to be a friendly photo opportunity into a platform from which to launch a fresh tirade against Berlin for a long list of perceived slights and shortcomings in its treatment of the estimated 3.5 million Turkish immigrants who now live in Germany.

Erdogan said Germany’s insistence that immigrants who want to live in Germany must learn the German language is “against human rights.” He also demanded that Berlin grant German citizenship to Turkish immigrants regardless of the efforts they make to integrate into German society.

For good measure, Erdogan accused Germany of being “an accessory” to the terror campaign launched by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Turkey. He also blamed Germany for derailing Turkey’s decades-long bid to join the European Union.

Adding to the controversy, a group of German scientists, politicians and human rights activists greeted Erdogan’s visit to Germany by filing a war crimes complaint against the Turkish prime minister and nine other senior Turkish political and military officials.

More here.

 Erdogan reinstates the jiziya:

Turkey: Non-Muslims protest special tax from which Muslims are exempt

“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” — Qur’an 9:29

Under heavy pressure from the European powers, the Ottoman Empire abolished the payment of the jizya, which is the cornerstone of the system of dhimmitude, in the 1850s. But even the secular Turkish state found a way to reestablish it under another name. As the Islamization of Turkey continues to advance, eventually this pretense will no longer be needed.

Wilders shakes up Dutch parliament

Geert Wilders:

“Deport lazy Muslim immigrants”

“If you want to go back to sleep instead of attending your integration course, then you’ll not merely have to get out of bed, you’ll have to get out of the country.”

Pray that Wilders gets elected Prime Minister of the Netherlands.

RNW Dutch Labour leader Job Cohen and anti-Islam Freedom Party (PVV) leader Geert Wilders clashed today in parliament during a debate on integration legislation for new immigrants.

Mr Wilders claimed Mr Cohen’s Labour Party does nothing to tackle immigrants who show a “half-hearted attitude” towards the mandatory integration course. Mr Cohen said deportation of immigrants who don’t fully participate in the course should be a last resort and that the current system of fining those who fail to attend the courses should be given a chance first. Wilders praises Merkel  for conflicting remarks about multiculturalism. Merkel  “Not amused”

Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday rebuffed praise from Dutch far-right leader Geert Wilders that her Christian Democratic Union (CDU) has taken “the lead in the domain of Islam criticism” in Germany.

Well, well, what is one to say about this?

Two things. First, before extolling Chancellor Merkel as an Islam critic, Wilders should have read VFR, where it was clearly established that her thrillingly negative remarks about Islam’s place in Germany were utterly meaningless, since they were contradicted by the exact opposite remarks which she also made. Had Wilders taken in the fact that Merkel herself is no Islam critic, he would have avoided the demurrer by the German government spokesman.

Second, while Merkel’s remarks were meaningless in themselves, they nevertheless were deeply significant as a symptom of a general shift in European thinking about Islam. And for this reason Wilders was absolutely right to cheer Merkel’s statement.  (View from the Right)

Merkel, don't go to Cyprus!

The Local

Merkel promises GermanTurkey help in Cyprus impasse

Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Saturday she would visit Cyprus in January to offer Germany’s help in resolving an impasse holding up security cooperation and Turkey joining the European Union.

“This will be an opportunity for me to see if Germany can play a helpful role in resolving the difficulties that there are,” Merkel said after talks with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Berlin.

Erdogan said progress towards Turkey joining the EU “should not slow down,” and that he had asked Merkel for Germany’s support. Merkel reiterated her position that the process had an “open end.”

Indeed. The jihad is open ended. It  will continue long after Merkel is gone.

Merkel: The Mosque Munich Has to Have

“A mosque in Munich would be an important message for world peace.” (or else!)

Today the council of Munich wanted to bury the Sendling mosque project officially. The resistance was too large in the population – and to small the financial possibilities of the owner, the mosque association Ditim. In a last ditch effort,  Turkish “European Minister” Egemen Bagis (photo l. with Angela Merkel with their Turkey visit in March) offered lucrative assistance from Turkey (?)

“A mosque in Munich would be an important message for the world peace. I would support the project gladly”, so Bagis to the local Munich Merkur. And further: “The Muslim world will not leave those Munich Muslims behind….” (more from PI, in German: Finanzspritze aus Türkei für Sendlinger Moschee? )

Did you know that Turkey has a “Europe Minister?”

Turkey wants justice (sharia) in EU bid, Bagis says

When a Muslim talks about ‘justice’ he means sharia. Everything else is ‘unjust’

Turkish chief negotiator said that Turkey prepared the constitutional amendment package to upgrade living standards of Turkish people.  (More mosques, the better!)

Merkel: Fundamental Transformation of Germany a "Done Deal…"

Angela Merkel: Germany will become Islamic state!

Somehow I have a hunch that we haven’t heard the last of that yet……

Chancellor Angela Merkel said that Germans have failed to grasp how Muslim immigration has transformed their country and will have to come to terms with more mosques than churches throughout the countryside, according to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung daily.

“Our country is going to carry on changing, and integration is also a task for the society taking up the task of dealing with immigrants,” Ms. Merkel told the daily newspaper. “For years we’ve been deceiving ourselves about this. Mosques, for example, are going to be a more prominent part of our cities than they were before.” (More from the Last Crusade)

What about those who resist Islamization?

The Baron from the  excellent Gates of Vienna got a translation of Ralph Giordano’s 10 points that support Thilo Sarrazin. Here’s an open letter printed in Germany’s ‘Die Welt’. See for yourself if you find any fault with it:

Honored Ladies and Gentlemen, Editors of die WELT,

I do not want the country of my grandchildren and great-grandchildren to be in large parts Muslim, that Turkish and Arab are spoken in large areas, that women wear head covering and the daily routine is determined by the call of the muezzins”,

Sarazin writes. Because of such statements, you are dragging this man through the mud, who simply out of courage dares to bring such unpopular truths — that have already ruined his career so far — to the public and deserves the greatest respect?

Tail Wind for Sarrazin: Ralf Giordano,  former BDI president Hans-Olaf Henkel,  Islam critic Necla Kelek and  Berlin  CDU-MP René Stadtkewitz.

In Germany, Ralph Giordano is, along with Henryk A. Broder, one of the most outspoken critics of Islamic doctrine. Both men share a Jewish background and a deep knowledge and experience of the dangers of totalitarianism.

The following ten points are not only required reading for everyone, but they should be printed and handed out to those who are unwilling to face the truth.

It’s staring us all in the face: let’s act!

Many thanks to JLH for translating this piece from Politically Incorrect:

Giordano’s Ten Theses for the Integration Debate

In Die Welt, Cologne author and Islam critic Ralph Giordano has taken a position on the discussion about Thilo and, in ten points, has declared the former politician to be correct. The Holocaust survivor attacks ruling politicians and the media, which, along with “model” Muslims, are disputing the prevalent defects in integration. He reproaches the politicians for downplaying existing problems with Islam. The editorial staff of WELT-online did not miss the chance to insert into Giordano’s most interesting essay their notorious chart, which simply obliterates the real problem: immigration from Islamic countries.

1. So long as cultured, career-integrated Muslim women with accent-free German appear on talk shows with unrealistic statements like “the question of integration does not arise,” and act as if their type is exemplary of the Muslim minority in Germany, and the equal status of Muslim women is just around the corner, then Thilo Sarrazin is right.
2. So long as these model Muslim women would rather bite off their tongues than get into what critical Muslim women have reported with shocking authenticity about the everyday life of oppression, segregation and exploitation, of forced marriages and bondage of Muslim women and girls, up to the point of “honor killing,” then Thilo Sarrazin is right.
3. So long as it is accepted without demur that mosques in Germany are named for Turkish-Ottoman conquerors — Sultan Selim I, or, as in the case of the so-called Fatih mosques, Mehmet II, conqueror of Constantinople, then Thilo Sarrazin is right.
4. So long as the highest officials of Turkish organizations, like the general secretary of the central council of Muslims in Germany, Aiman Mayzek, can state before running cameras and millions of viewers that sharia and constitutional law are compatible, without being immediately deported, then Thilo Sarrazin is right.
5. So long as it is intoned, like the telling of rosary beads, that Islam is a peaceful religion and the numerous calls in the Koran to kill infidels, especially Jews, Jews, Jews are casually ignored, then Thilo Sarrazin is right.

Gateway Pundit: Mistake #1: Obama Gave Advice to Merkel During Debt Crisis… Mistake #2: She Took It

Today The New York Times reported that Angela Merkel took economic advice from Barack Obama:

Today we’re already seeing how well these decisions played out. The market is down over concerns that Europe can meet its debt obligations.
Reuters reported:

Erdogan: ‘There Can be No Talk of Genocide’

Okay. How about getting the Turkish occupiers out of Cyprus then?

In a SPIEGEL interview, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, 56, discusses Ankara’s relationship with the European Union, the debate over genocide against the Armenians and his role as a mediator in the dispute over Iran’s nuclear policy.

SPIEGEL: Mr. Prime Minister, your country is currently giving a confusing impression. It is more modern and open than it was before you came into office, and yet it is also more pious and Islamic. Where are you taking Turkey: toward the West, toward Europe or toward the East?

Update: Erdogan, Merkel agree on Turkish schools in Germany

Erdogan: Turkey has changed considerably and has been modernized in the last seven-and-a-half years. Unlike previous governments, we take the founder of the republic, (Mustafa Kemal) Atatürk, at his word and are trying to bring the country to the level of contemporary civilization. In doing so, we look in all directions. We don’t turn our face from the East when we look to the West. We see this as a process of normalization.

Conversion is next, by the looks of it….

What, no hijab?

Islamist would-be caliph Tayyip Erdogan must have taken German chancellor Angela Merkels to the cleaners,  where they did a bit of good old fashioned Islamo-fascist brainwashing on her:

Before she went, she told Germans that there wouldn’t be any Turkish (Islamic) universities in Germany. Now, upon her return, she’s not so sure anymore:  from PI (in German)

For the Turks, however, it is Islam and nothing but Islam, because nothing else matters….

Touching on the importance of religion, Celik said that the first goal should be to teach Islam from the right source.   If Islam is taught from the right source, there will not be any problems regarding dialogue among religions and co-existence, Celik underlined.
