Long time no see, Mohammed!

In February 2008 we posted a story on Mohammed Salim, a Paki welfare bludger in the UK with eleven kids who  couldn’t be bothered to go to work:

Highlights:

  • Mohammed ‘can’t stand condoms’
  • believes that ‘wealth should be shared’
  • spends his time running his political party, Islam Zinda Badd, whose name means ‘Long Live Islam’.

Vote for Mohammed Salim!

Mohammed has political aspirations and needs your vote to get elected. Among other things he will demand the return to corporal punishment and hanging. He also wants to see legislation that will encourage community cohesion and respect values of Islam (what could be more important than that?)

Here he was, then:

Mohammed quit his £27,000 job teaching maths and science  is BETTER OFF claiming £29,096 a year in benefits.

I will be standing in the forthcoming General Election on the Islam Zinda Baad Platform to serve Rochdale and its people as their next MP.

I am married with eleven children. I am 52 years old. I have been unemployed for the past 5 years. I am a trained teacher, lecturer. I have worked as a teacher, and lecturer for nearly 15 years.

I am highly educated. I have lots of transferable skills. I am caring, compassionate, understanding, sensitive. I value and respect different values and norms of our Rochdale Community make up. I have been serving Rochdale community and various multidisciplinary agencies as part of my voluntary community work since the age of 16. I am a proud Rochdalian, and have lived here since 1966. In August I will be celebrating 20 year anniversary of my hunger strike outside Rochdale Town Hall.

Gaza Q&A: Pali Arabs answer

Q: Martin Kramer spoke of Gaza’s “superfluous young men.” Is anyone in Gaza “superfluous”?

A: “I don’t mind if Gazans continue producing babies, but they will have to move somewhere else. They simply will not fit into their current geography – forgetting about feeding and employing them, too.” (Dr. Hassan Abu Libdeh, president, Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, 2000.)

Q: Okay… Well, if that’s the situation, wouldn’t it make sense for Gaza’s government to promote family planning?

A: “Unlike the West that practices family planning, we encourage having children for political reasons.” (Dr. Abd al-Aziz Rantisi, co-founder of Hamas in Gaza, 2003.)

Q: Political reasons? For couples having children?

A: “Marriage is the same as jihad. With marriage, you are producing another generation that believes in resistance.” (Muhammad Yousef, member of the Qassam Brigades in Gaza, the Hamas underground, 2008.)

Q: I hadn’t thought of that. So would you say the present Israeli sanctions are starving the “resistance” in the cradle?

A: “It’s not a humanitarian crisis. People aren’t starving.” (Khaled Abdel Shaafi, director, UN Development Program in Gaza, 2008.)

Q: But Kramer said that the present sanctions might be breaking Gaza’s runaway birth rate. If so, how?

A: “The percentage of married females in 1997 was 57.2% compared to 50.5% in 2007. This indicates a decrease in marriage rates in the Gaza Strip, which could be due to Israeli siege and the resulting economic impacts.” (Dr. Luay Shabaneh, president, Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, 2009.)

Q: Aha, that’s how. But Gaza’s still growing fast, so what’s the long-term solution?

A: “All the rural Jews in the southern district from Ashdod (Isdud) to Eilat (Umm Rashrash) are less in number than one refugee camp in Gaza. Their density is six persons per square kilometer while that of Gaza’s population – the owners of this very land – is 6,000 per square kilometer.” (Dr. Salman Abu Sitta, president, Palestine Land Society, 2007.)

Q: Yes, but… that land is in Israel proper. Are you saying that Gaza’s problem can’t be solved in Gaza’s pre-1967 borders?

A: “Hamas looks toward Palestine! All Palestine! The liberation of Gaza is only a step on the road to the complete and total liberation of all Palestine, with the help of God Almighty.” (Ismail Haniyeh, Gaza’s Hamas prime minister, 2009.)

Q: Thank you for your… candor.

The Telegraph recently made headlines with a survey that suggested that a fifth of the European Union will be Muslim by 2050. This is if anything an understatement of the situation, since once you subtract Eastern European states and focus in on Western European countries such as England, France and Italy… or Sweden, Islam will comprise a sizable enough minority to be considered a state within a state. And even the most pessimistic statistics will grow gloomier if 75 million Turks inside the presently Islamist Turkey will become part of the European Union.

Dutch embrace Islamic name

They do? So Henk and Aagje now call their son Mohammed? Jan and Truus have chosen Muhammad for theirs, rather than Piet?

The report under that headline is rather more accurate, suggesting not a Kumbayah “embrace” of Islamic names, but a displacement by:

MOHAMMED, or other variations of the name of Islam’s founding prophet, has become the most popular name choice for baby boys in the four biggest cities of Holland. The country’s social security agency found that traditional Dutch names have been displaced in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht as the country’s Muslim population grows.

* There is a bright side, though:

Whilever they continue to call their boys Muhammad our media  will never be able to completely sweep Islamic terrorism under the carpet.

Meanwhile always eager to get ahead, Russia estimates that Islam will become its predominant religion by 2050. The Russians, both under the USSR and in the Putin era, have done everything they can to try and raise the birth rate, but remains at half that of Uzbekistan, or even war torn Chechnya. With the Russian population set to fall by almost 50 million, to 100 million in 2050, the Muslim birth rate will have made up the surplus. Having tried all the usual financial family incentives and even made an effort at luring back its former Jewish emigrants, Russia is now counting on its state run network of mosques, which can only preach Jihad at America, England and any non-Russian infidels, to maintain control. It is an absurd strategy, but no more so than Europe’s own.

While Europe may not boast a population that is by turns dying of alcohol poisoning or trying to escape abroad– Europe is dying the slow death of socialism instead. High taxes, late marriages and the accompanying low birth rates have hit Europe hard. And attempts to compensate for gaps in the workforce during economic upswings with immigration, has imported the barbarians through the gate, past customs and into every major European city.

When a nuclear-powered Islamic Republic of France threatens the U.S., however, some Americans may come to regret the ease with which they swallowed and even propagated defamation and lies about anti-jihad European politicians such as Geert Wilders.

Britain and the rest of the European Union are ignoring a demographic time bomb: a recent rush into the EU by migrants, including millions of Muslims, will change the continent beyond recognition over the next two decades, and almost no policy-makers are talking about it.The numbers are startling. Only 3.2 per cent of Spain’s population was foreign-born in 1998. In 2007 it was 13.4 per cent. Europe’s Muslim population has more than doubled in the past 30 years and will have doubled again by 2015. In Brussels, the top seven baby boys’ names recently were Mohamed, Adam, Rayan, Ayoub, Mehdi, Amine and Hamza.

Too many teenagers

Gunner Heinsohn, head of Bremen University’s Raphael Lemkin Institute of genocide research, says we’re creating a time bomb – almost literally – by financing Gaza’s baby boom:

As the world decries Israel’s attempt to defend itself from the rocket attacks coming from Gaza, consider this: When Hamas routed Fatah in Gaza in 2007, it cost nearly 350 lives and 1,000 wounded. Fatah’s surrender brought only a temporary stop to the type of violence and bloodshed that are commonly seen in lands where at least 30% of the male population is in the 15-to-29 age bracket.

In such “youth bulge” countries, young men tend to eliminate each other or get killed in aggressive wars until a balance is reached between their ambitions and the number of acceptable positions available in their society. In Arab nations such as Lebanon (150,000 dead in the civil war between 1975 and 1990) or Algeria (200,000 dead in the Islamists’ war against their own people between 1999 and 2006), the slaughter abated only when the fertility rates in these countries fell from seven children per woman to fewer than two. The warring stopped because no more warriors were being born.

In Gaza, however, there has been no demographic disarmament. The average woman still bears six babies. For every 1,000 men aged 40-44, there are 4,300 boys aged 0-4 years. In the U.S. the latter figure is 1,000, and in the U.K. it’s only 670.

And so the killing continues…

The reason for Gaza’s endless youth bulge is that a large majority of its population does not have to provide for its offspring. Most babies are fed, clothed, vaccinated and educated by UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. Unlike the U.N. High Commission for Refugees, which deals with the rest of the world’s refugees and aims to settle them in their respective host countries, UNRWA perpetuates the Palestinian problem by classifying as refugees not only those who originally fled their homes, but all of their descendents as well…

If we seriously want to avoid another generation of war in Gaza, we must have the courage to tell the Gazans that they will have to start looking after their children themselves, without UNRWA’s help. This would force Palestinians to focus on building an economy instead of freeing them up to wage war.
