Irish Times: Area two kilometres from city centre has become ‘orthodox Muslim territory’ largely ignored by authorities

There have been calls for an urgent debate in the Dutch parliament about the integration of Muslim immigrants amid claims that one area of The Hague, known locally as “the Sharia triangle”, is being run by a form of unofficial Sharia police.

The claims relate to the district of Schilderswijk, about two kilometres from the city centre, where an almost entirely Muslim population of some 5,000 people surrounds the El Islam mosque, fuelling criticism that the government has failed to ensure a proper ethnic mix in schools and local housing. One recent investigation, in which local people were extensively interviewed, concluded that Schilderswijk had become “orthodox Muslim territory” which was now largely ignored by the city authorities, by politicians and even by the police, on the grounds that it had become self-regulating.

The investigation found that orthodox Muslims had become so dominant that they were dictating what people in the neighbourhood wore and how they behaved.

“The norms of the majority are beginning to take over,” it said.

In the case of women, dress was a particular issue. One woman told how her daughter had been approached and told her short skirt was inappropriate, while her son had been called a “kaffir” – a racist term formerly used in colonial South Africa to refer to a black person – for smoking.

Protest now before they shut you up!

We are dealing with the most dangerous government ever in Australia’s history. This is becoming the most important issue in the history of this nation.  Countless Australians died in past wars protecting our freedoms.  We must not let them down. LEGAL experts have questioned whether Labor’s draft anti-discrimination laws are constitutional, arguing the expansion of federal powers is a step too far into community life that will ensnare students, parents, employees and even sports spectators.

As the Senate inquiry into the bill prepares to hold its first hearings this week, constitutional law professors Nicholas Aroney of the University of Queensland and Patrick Parkinson of the University of Sydney say it could also fall foul of our international obligations and may lead to successful court challenges.

The Greens yesterday joined the chorus of concerns over the proposed legislation, which will make it unlawful to offend or insult others.

Not just that, even some impeccably Leftist comedians – well, Ben Elton, at least – are astonished to find themselves suddenly so badgered. Elton is yet to defend his free speech, but does draw the line at Government nagging over smoking and drinking:

Wilders slams Dutch-Turkish celebrations

Anti-Islam Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders says next year’s celebrations of the 400th anniversary of Dutch-Turkish relations should be called off. His comments which appear in the opinion section of Dutch newspaper de Volkskrant on Saturday have been published online.

He writes that Turkish President Abdullah Gül is not welcome on a state visit to the Netherlands. He says there’s nothing to celebrate.

“Gül’s Islamic regime and his party colleague, Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan, are no friends to the West and therefore neither to the Netherlands. President Gül is not welcome. Turkey has no place in the community of European values and there’s no reason for a party.”

“Whoever looks further than his nose can see that the regime of Gül and Erdogan is busy killing off Turkey’s secular constitution in order to re-Islamise the country.”

Next year marks 400 years since the then Republic of the Netherlands set up its first diplomatic mission in Istanbul, at the time the capital of the Ottoman Empire. Major celebrations are planned to mark the anniversary.

I’m astonished at how worse off the continent is than us, when most of their rulers don’t even have the excuse of an imperial relationship with their colonisers. Why do you think this is so?

I’m struck by how often I come across a comment from a European in one country talking about the Muslim invasion of another European country along the lines of: “Our Muslims aren’t as bad.”

Anti-Islam PVV party leader Geert Wilders said on Friday that his website has been hacked. The hacker called himself a ‘Turkish Muslim Hacker’ and left a photo of Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and a verse from the Koran on the site.

The hacking follows a clash between Wilders and Dutch prime minister Mark Rutte on Thursday which focused on the PVV attitude to Erdogan.

The page has now been taken off-line and it is not known what action Wilders will take.

Prime Minister Mark Rutte has crossed swords in parliament with populist Freedom Party (PVV) leader Geert Wilders. The PVV has an agreement to support the minority centre-right government from parliament on most issues.

At one point, the two men shouted at each other to “behave normally”. The exchange followed the prime minister objecting to an earlier statement by a PVV MP, calling Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan an “Islamic monkey”.

Mr Rutte also warned the PVV leader against overemphasising the problem of criminality amongst Dutch-Moroccan youths. He told Mr Wilders that this could lead to the alienation of law-abiding and highly qualified members of the Dutch-Moroccan community. Mr Wilders countered that such people should take the criminal members of their community in hand.

The prime minister also made it clear that the government is against holding a referendum on banning the construction of new minarets on mosques in the Netherlands. On Wednesday, the PVV put forward holding such a referendum.

RNW Dutch Labour leader Job Cohen and anti-Islam Freedom Party (PVV) leader Geert Wilders clashed today in parliament during a debate on integration legislation for new immigrants.

Mr Wilders claimed Mr Cohen’s Labour Party does nothing to tackle immigrants who show a “half-hearted attitude” towards the mandatory integration course. Mr Cohen said deportation of immigrants who don’t fully participate in the course should be a last resort and that the current system of fining those who fail to attend the courses should be given a chance first. Wilders praises Merkel  for conflicting remarks about multiculturalism. Merkel  “Not amused”

Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday rebuffed praise from Dutch far-right leader Geert Wilders that her Christian Democratic Union (CDU) has taken “the lead in the domain of Islam criticism” in Germany.

Well, well, what is one to say about this?

Two things. First, before extolling Chancellor Merkel as an Islam critic, Wilders should have read VFR, where it was clearly established that her thrillingly negative remarks about Islam’s place in Germany were utterly meaningless, since they were contradicted by the exact opposite remarks which she also made. Had Wilders taken in the fact that Merkel herself is no Islam critic, he would have avoided the demurrer by the German government spokesman.

Second, while Merkel’s remarks were meaningless in themselves, they nevertheless were deeply significant as a symptom of a general shift in European thinking about Islam. And for this reason Wilders was absolutely right to cheer Merkel’s statement.  (View from the Right)

The president of the Supreme Court says remarks made by anti-Islam MP Geert Wilders “undermine” the judiciary.

Supreme Court President Geert Corstens should be on trial for supporting the corrupt system

Speaking on television, Supreme Court President Geert Corstens said statements such as those made by Mr Wilders about his hate-speech trial “address in an erroneous manner” feelings  among the public.

(Gee, I didn’t know it was about “feelings”, I thought it was about blaspheming Allah…?)

Mr Wilders has repeatedly denounced his hate-speech trial as a “political trial” aimed at limiting the freedom of expression. On Friday he said he had “lost all confidence” in the judges trying him on charges of group insult, inciting hatred and discrimination. A review panel later that day granted his lawyer’s request to have the judges dismissed for creating an appearance of bias.

(“Appearance of bias?” A dinner invitation to influence a witness  is a crime that taints the whole Dutch judiciary. Its not the “appearance”, its the fact of wrongdoing and perverting the course of justice…)

The Supreme Court president said undermining the judiciary was all the more serious in the case of an MP such as Mr Wilders. Mr Corsten said it was an MP’s task to help ensure the stability of the constitutional state.

* No. Its Islam and sharia that undermines the stability of the constitutional state, not Wilders. Wilders, as a patriot, exposes the collusion between the state, the judiciary and the invading soldiers of allah.

* Looks like “undermining the judiciary”,  exposing the insidious workings of the inquisitors, is the real crime here.

And who is the loser here?

The Netherlands is also noted as one of Indonesia’s largest sources of aid for education, governance, water management and other areas.

However, none of that changes the fact that most Indonesians would like nothing more than to immolate gay-loving, prostitute riddled, drug smoking Holland with a few, if not many, nuclear weapons.

Blithely and admantly ignorant of this, The Netherlands continues funding and doing business with this Muslim hive. If ever there was a case of “feeding the crocodile”.
