Spain: ‘It’s Not Immigration, It’s an Invasion,’ Ceuta Residents Stage Protest Sit-In

Over a thousand residents of Ceuta staged a sit-in near the city’s border with Morocco on Sunday to once again demand solutions to the unresolved mass migrant invasion of the Spanish North African exclave.

This week will mark the second month since tens of thousands of migrants illegally swarmed their way into Ceuta in late July, plunging the once-peaceful city into a complex crisis that remains far from resolved.

On Sunday, Ceuta’s residents — or Caballas, as they like to call themselves — staged a peaceful protest at the Tarajal border crossing, which connects the city with Morocco.

Rallied under the slogan ‘Sit-in at the Tarajal,” the peaceful demonstrators marched from downtown Ceuta towards the border border to manifest their discontent over the continued presence of invading migrants in their city and to demand adequate and definitive security measures for the exclave and its inhabitants — including the reinforcement of its borders to prevent another invasion from ever taking place in the future.

Footage of the protest published by El Faro de Ceuta shows a large banner bearing the colors of Spain’s flags and the phrase, “It’s not Immigration, it’s an Invasion” at the forefront of the march. A man reported to have been a bodyguard for Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was granted asylum in Britain and later became a British citizen.

Now German prosecutors accuse him of involvement in a Hamas-linked plot targeting Jews, Israeli diplomats and pro-Israel gatherings in Germany and Austria.
.
He is entitled to due process, and these allegations must be proven in court.
But Britain must answer a separate question:

HOW DID SOMEONE WITH THIS REPORTED BACKGROUND GET THROUGH THE SYSTEM?

Reports say British authorities knew about his previous connection to Haniyeh when he received refugee status.
.
If that is accurate, this wasn’t some invisible warning sign.
As a Muslim, I reject the idea that demanding serious security vetting is somehow anti-Muslim.

It isn’t.
When extremists devout Muslims exploit Western democracies, Jews become targets, genuine refugees become suspect, moderate Muslims pay the price, and public trust is destroyed.

Britain can protect refugees without becoming naïve about islam extremism.
Parliament should demand the complete record: Who vetted him? What did officials know? Why was asylum granted? How was citizenship approved? Were warnings ignored?

Compassion without security is not compassion.
It is negligence.

Protect genuine refugees. Protect Britain’s Jewish community.

A former bodyguard for Hamas’s slain leader Ismail Haniyeh was reportedly granted asylum and citizenship in Britain before he was caught last year hatching a terrorist plot against Jews and Israeli-linked figures in Europe.

Europe keeps importing Hamas double agents and closeted loyalists who arrive claiming asylum, only to flip after October 7 and become loud promoters of the “resistance” narrative. Many turned out to be money launderers, instigators, sleeper cells, protest organizers, online inciters, and members of the worst activist circles. I have warned senior European officials at every level, including Prime Ministers, Defense, Foreign, and Interior Security Ministers.

Belgium, for example, has become a central Hamas hub in Europe, a place where operatives issue orders to Gaza to kidnap, torture, and harass Palestinians, including friends of mine. I have given authorities names, amounts, dates, bank accounts, tracking numbers, addresses, and more for Hamas-linked money launderers violating European law. Nothing happened.
So, surprise surprise, the UK granted asylum and then citizenship to a former bodyguard of Hamas’s slain leader, Ismail Haniyeh, who went on to plot a major al‑Qassam Brigades terror attack targeting Jewish sites in Berlin and Vienna.

The ill-considered rants of B-list celebs are not landing either. And, the student protests – attended by feral, brainwashed kids and their indoctrinators – have been counter-productive, showing ordinary Australians how rabid the Left has become.

One Nation is the most popular political party in the country with 30 per cent of the primary vote, three points clear of Labor and a whopping 11 points clear of the Coalition, according to the latest Newspoll.

The result for One Nation is all the more impressive coming just two weeks after a grubby hit-piece on Victorian leader Warren Pickering.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s net approval rating continues to circle the drain, falling to its lowest level since Labor gained power in 2022.

Sixty-two per cent of voters are dissatisfied with Anthony Albanese’s performance, compared with 35 per cent that are satisfied, giving the PM a net approval rating of minus 27 per cent. A diabolical result.

Judging by the way the PM handled a difficult question about his unpopularity at a press conference in New York on Monday, he is not coping with how the majority of Australians view him.
