Die Aussage machte sie 2018 auf der Buchmesse in Göteborg; sie führte dies als Beleg dafür an, dass lokale und globale Kräfte zusammengearbeitet hätten, um die Bruderschaft an die Macht zu bringen.
Als das mutige ägyptische Volk die Muslimbrüder stürzte, gab man sich in Washington kleinlaut. Am 3. Juli 2013, als das Militär unter Abdel Fattah al-Sisi Mohammed Mursi entmachtete und die Verfassung aussetzte, erklärte Barack Obama noch am selben Tag, die USA seien “zutiefst besorgt” über die Entscheidung der ägyptischen Streitkräfte. Er forderte das Militär auf, die volle Macht “so schnell wie möglich” an eine demokratisch gewählte Zivilregierung zurückzugeben und willkürliche Verhaftungen von Mursi und seinen Anhängern zu vermeiden. Gleichzeitig liess er die US-Hilfe an Ägypten prüfen – ohne den Vorgang offiziell als Putsch zu bezeichnen, was eine automatische Einstellung der Militärhilfe ausgelöst hätte.
Der Support der Muslimbrüder durch Barack Hussein Obama beschränkte sich nicht auf das Ausland. Auch in den Vereinigten Staaten wurden entsprechende Personen und Organisationen supportet. So zeichnete das Weisse Haus die palästinensisch-amerikanische Aktivistin Linda Sarsour 2011 als “Champion of Change” aus. Sarsour, eine prominente Islamistin mit ideologischer Nähe zur Muslimbruderschaft, hat sich wiederholt für die Scharia ausgesprochen, sie als “vernünftig” und “missverstanden” bezeichnet und enge Verbindungen zu Organisationen und Personen gepflegt, die der MB-Ideologie zugerechnet werden. Kritiker und Medien wie Al-Arabiya verwiesen auf ihre Wurzeln und Aktivitäten im Umfeld der Bruderschaft sowie auf familiäre Verbindungen zu Hamas-Umfeld.
Darüber hinaus unterhielt die Obama-Administration intensive Kontakte zur Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), die als amerikanische Sektion bzw. Frontorganisation der Muslimbruderschaft gilt. CAIR wurde von führenden Mitgliedern des US-Muslimbruderschafts-Netzwerks (u. a. aus dem “Palestine Committee”) gegründet, war im Holy-Land-Foundation-Prozess als unindicted co-conspirator gelistet und wies dokumentierte Verbindungen zu Hamas-Unterstützungskreisen auf. Trotzdem besuchten CAIR-Vertreter das Weisse Haus mehrfach – Berichten zufolge mindestens 20 Mal –, und ein Beamter sprach von Hunderten Beispielen von Treffen zwischen Behörden und der Organisation. Die FBI hatte zuvor die Zusammenarbeit mit CAIR wegen der Terrorfinanzierungs-Verbindungen eingestellt.
Auch beim Support für Abdul El-Sayed blieb Barack Hussein Obama seiner Linie treu und unterstützt weiterhin Kräfte der Muslimbruderschaft. El-Sayed, der demokratische Senatskandidat in Michigan, hat Verbindungen zur Muslimbruderschaft, die von seiner eigenen Familie bestätigt wurden. Seine Halbschwester Eman Abdelhadi, Professorin an der University of Chicago, schrieb 2012 und 2013 offen über die MB-Nähe der Familie: “My family has long been MB”, sie habe Familie, die für die Mitgliedschaft im Gefängnis sass, und sie habe mit ihrer (und El-Sayeds) Mutter über deren Aktivismus in der Muslimbruderschaft während ihres Studiums in den frühen 1970er-Jahren gesprochen. Führende Republikaner warnen eindringlich vor einer Wahl von Abdul El-Sayed. Sein Gegenkandidat Mike Rogers hat Warnungen vor nationaler Sicherheitsgefahr ausgesprochen. Senator Ted Cruz thematisierte die Verbindungen im Senat und auf Social Media und verwies auf die Aussagen der Schwester sowie weitere Netzwerke. Selbst Präsident Donald Trump nannte El-Sayed “100 % Muslim Brotherhood” und rief die Wähler in Michigan ausdrücklich dazu auf, ihn nicht in den Senat zu wählen.
Trotz dieser klaren Warnungen bleibt Barack Hussein Obama seiner Linie treu und unterstützt El-Sayed weiterhin – mit Anrufen, Werbespots und gemeinsamer Kundgebung. Damit setzt sich das Muster fort, das bereits in der Kairoer Rede, im Arabischen Frühling und bei der Förderung islamistischer Kräfte in den USA sichtbar wurde: eine bewusste Öffnung und Förderung gegenüber der Muslimbruderschaft und ihrem Umfeld, sowohl im Ausland als auch im Inland.

Dutch Housing Minister Elanor Boekholt-O’Sullivan drew sharp criticism this week after defending priority access to scarce social housing for recognized refugees, arguing that many young Dutch first-time home seekers “can still live with their parents.”
In an interview with De Telegraaf, the D66 minister was asked why status holders – asylum seekers granted residence permits – should receive preference for social rental homes while Dutch “starters” face long waiting lists and delayed independence. She responded that “we see that a lot of starters can still, or are allowed to, live with their parents.”
Dutch commentator and activist Eva Vlaardingerbroek wrote on X that the policy amounted to “systemic racism.”

Greta Thunberg publicly declared she was “incredibly proud” of the French students and said they were “leading by example,” with the clear implication that young people elsewhere should follow.
The protests she endorsed, quickly produced repeated disorder: clashes, arson, looting, vandalism, and attacks on property and authorities (one deliberately lit ablaze), the deliberate torching of the Limoges town hall, along with other public buildings, shops, and vehicles.
Hundreds to well over a thousand arrests occurred on peak days, with injuries to police and others. This is not “peaceful protest for basic rights”; significant parts of the mobilisation crossed into criminal violence and destruction of heritage and public assets.

All the fiends of Hell have been loosed, and are now rampaging through the cities of France. Yesterday afternoon a mob set fire to the Mairie, or town hall, of Limoges. The fire raged on into the night, and eventually the building’s iconic bell tower toppled into the burning ruins.
Like the fall of the steeple of Notre Dame in Paris, the moment serves as a symbolic reminder that the great, ancient civilisation known as France is rapidly approaching its smouldering finale.
