The strength of the Catholic Church, which remains the largest religion in France, was on full display on Saturday, as an estimated 800,000 faithful flocked to the Champs-Élysées and the Place de la Concorde in central Paris for an outdoor mass led by Pope Leo XIV.

Hundreds of thousands of Catholics poured into Paris on Saturday as Pope Leo XIV held Mass in the city centre, spreading a message of religious revival amid modern secularism stemming from the French Revolution and calling on the faithful to “bring hope wherever discouragement and spiritual dryness prevail.”

Soldiers can be heard laughing and applauding as he delivers his pointed remarks.

When an elementary-school teacher in France told one of her Muslim pupils not to “play the tough guy,” the boy reported her remark to his father, who threatened to “cut off her head.”

A 47-year-old man in France has been sentenced to just six months in prison after threatening to decapitate his son’s primary school teacher.

Abdelkader B was sent directly to jail in Toulouse after the court determined his threats were too grave to warrant a suspended sentence.

In other news, migrants in Ceuta were forced to flee from their camps as a massive inferno tore through their tents.

Man (Koranimal) jailed after threatening to behead son’s teacher in French village

A (Musel-)man has been given a six-month jail term in France after he threatened to behead a female primary school teacher who had disciplined his son at a village primary school.

The 47-year-old was sentenced after a fast-track hearing on Thursday, six days after the events unfolded in Le Fauga, a village with a population of about 2,600 just outside the southwestern city of Toulouse.

The teacher has been granted official protection and has gone on sick leave.

According to the police, the would-be cop-killer’s motives “remain unclear.”

I beg to differ. After all, what could the motive possibly be for someone who as he attacks with a knife shouts “Allahu akbar”?

In Toulouse, a knife-wielding Muslim attacked two police officers who were sitting in their patrol car, and managed to wound both of them. One of the cuts came close to severing the victim’s carotid artery. “There are 139 radical mosques that are currently in the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood. They must be closed. All associations or networks that echo the Muslim Brotherhood’s ideas must be dissolved.”

The first step to ‘eradicate Islamism’ would be to call it by his real name, ISLAM.

Muslims are soldiers of allah, commanded to ‘strike terror in the hearts of the infidels’. They don’t have a choice in this, it is the essence of the religion. Until this is understood, no one will be able to ‘eradicate Islam’.

Actual incidents of Muslim women being harassed or discriminated against for wearing the hijab in France or anywhere in the West, meanwhile, are extraordinarily hard to find. It’s much easier to find examples of Muslim women who falsely claimed that they were being harassed or discriminated against in order to score points on the left’s insane scale of victimhood worship.

Back on Sept. 16, 2022, in Tehran, the Iranian morality police arrested Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman, for not wearing her hijab properly. Amini later died in a hospital in Tehran, and numerous Iranians charged that she had been tortured to death while in custody. All over the country, protesters took to the streets to protest not against the hijab laws, but against the repressive and brutal Islamic Republic itself.

The outcome of the election could reverberate far beyond France: Le Pen has called for the country to leave from the European Union. Such a step could prove fatal for the political bloc, which is already reeling from a U.K. vote last summer to leave the union.
 
To be sure, Vedral agrees that the most likely outcome is the one predicted by the polls, which suggest that Le Pen and Emanuel Macron will face off in the second round. Those polls also show Macron getting more than 60 percent in the second round.

However, the Goldman strategist notes data in the polls that raise doubts. When asked who they would vote for in the second round if their candidate lost, an astonishingly high percentage of people answered “don’t know” — as high as 42 percent, depending on the candidate. Two municipal police officers were injured in the Southern French city of Toulouse on Monday afternoon by a knifeman Mohammedan who reportedly shouted “Allahu Akbar” during the attack.

According to a report by the French paper of record Le Figaro, three officers were on patrol in their squad vehicle on Monday afternoon when they were approached by a man who claimed to be seeking information.
