This week, The Spectator exposed how the British Muslim Trust (BMT), paid millions of pounds by the Government as its official monitor of anti-Muslim hatred, has made multiple claims about attacks on mosques which are not true, and others for which it refuses to provide evidence.

On Thursday, the BMT chose to double down. Probably because of our piece on Tuesday, they finally, six weeks after promising it, published a report purporting to prove their claim that “one mosque [was] attacked every five days” between July 2025 and July 2026.

That is indeed the title of the report. But what it actually proves is that the BMT is even shoddier and more dishonest than we feared.

Fake “hate crimes” is the stock in trade for all Mosqueteers in the West.

The British government has been handing out thousands of hijabs to illegal migrants washing up on the shores of the country in boats, while Home Office staff have been spending time in Calais cooking meals for them.

Internal figures show 974 hijabs issued to small-boat arrivals between January and June, at a rate of 162 a month. Run that rate forward and the year’s total is already past 1,000 and heading for 1,500.

The same clothing data also proves that the vast majority of those arriving are fighting age males, with more than 10,000 male packs being provided against 2,670 for women, while children’s packs number just 773 for boys and 829 for girls.

This isn’t a deterrent, it’s an open armed welcome.

Home Office documents show the scarves are part of the dry-clothing pack issued at short-term holding sites such as Manston in Kent. Regarding the 15-year-old:

Islam had grabbed her from behind as she walked home with a friend and bundled her into the car at knifepoint before driving to a secluded spot where he raped her twice – despite her claiming she was only 11 years old.

A man reported to have been a bodyguard for Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was granted asylum in Britain and later became a British citizen.

Now German prosecutors accuse him of involvement in a Hamas-linked plot targeting Jews, Israeli diplomats and pro-Israel gatherings in Germany and Austria.

He is entitled to due process, and these allegations must be proven in court.
But Britain must answer a separate question:

HOW DID SOMEONE WITH THIS REPORTED BACKGROUND GET THROUGH THE SYSTEM?

Reports say British authorities knew about his previous connection to Haniyeh when he received refugee status.

If that is accurate, this wasn’t some invisible warning sign.
As a Muslim, I reject the idea that demanding serious security vetting is somehow anti-Muslim.

It isn’t.
When extremists devout Muslims exploit Western democracies, Jews become targets, genuine refugees become suspect, moderate Muslims pay the price, and public trust is destroyed.

Britain can protect refugees without becoming naïve about islam extremism.
Parliament should demand the complete record: Who vetted him? What did officials know? Why was asylum granted? How was citizenship approved? Were warnings ignored?

Compassion without security is not compassion.
It is negligence.

Protect genuine refugees. Protect Britain’s Jewish community.
