Bushfires caused by humans could be “the source of greenhouse gas emissions”

Three centuries before Christ, Archimedes jumped out of a bath and ran naked through the streets of Syracuse shouting “Eureka!”. That’s Greek for “I have found it”. What he found was a scientific method to expose a counterfeit ‘gold’ crown. Well now we see the NSW Bushfire Research Hub being awarded a Eureka Prize crown for “applied environmental research”, the learned professors and doctors boasting they provided “lots of” science which “directly influenced” the state’s inquiry into our Black Summer bushfire disaster. “We tackled the big questions,” they claim, “including drought, fire weather, ignitions and fuel management.”
.
‘Tackle’, indeed! They didn’t even get off the bench.

In the early 1790s, during the Settlement Drought – the worst in 500 years – there were three consecutive summers of extreme weather. Masses of flying foxes and lorikeets dropped dead in Parramatta during three straight days of blistering northwesterly gales. Aboriginal fires were burning 24/7. Huts were clad with bark and thatch. There were no disasters and no fatalities. Settlers controlled wildfires with hand tools and green branches.
Last September 11, every Muslim in Congress and some of their radical allies teamed up on a congressional resolution demanding reparations to Muslims for their suffering after 9/11.
House Resolution 741, introduced a week after the anniversary of September 11, claimed that “in the aftermath of September 11, 2001” Muslims “experienced hate and were targeted by the government” and called for “various forms of relief to support those affected.”
Amid anxiety in industry ranks that federal Labor could crackdown on Fuel Tax Credits used by miners, farmers and builders, a CCA insights paper has revealed Mr Bowen’s Department of Climate Change and Energy is leading a government-wide push to hit back against those undermining Labor’s climate and energy policy.
The department, when contacted for comment about the working group, cited “strong and persistent public concern about the spread of climate and energy misinformation” presented to a Greens-proposed and Greens-led Senate inquiry earlier this year.
The CCA said the new working group could: establish a “more collaborative approach to addressing climate misinformation” by developing a shared message framework across agencies; translate technical policy into practical explanations; use audience insight and misinformation monitoring to identify risks; and establish a “whole-of-government rapid-response approach to climate and energy misinformation”.
The insights paper – “Misinformation: A climate policy risk” – said climate misinformation was “part of a broader challenge around information integrity that affects many policy areas … effective responses require co-ordination across government, with different agencies contributing expertise, insights and actions within their respective mandates”.
The CCA paper, which warned that climate misinformation was “already affecting how climate policy is delivered in Australia”, identified “common narratives” fuelling “uncertainty about climate policies, technologies and solutions”. These included misinformation narratives linked to “cost-of-living, energy prices and reliability, jobs, regional impacts, biodiversity and environmental impacts, whether Australia’s action matters”.
The Department of Climate Change and Energy said it was “committed to continually improving the way it communicates and providing clear factual information that is accessible to all Australians.
“The department’s communication efforts are dedicated to helping Australians to understand the facts about our energy system and the impact of climate change – so people can understand and engage with the energy transition to improve social licence and ensure community concerns are heard and considered,” a spokesman said.
As the Albanese government seeks to reclaim control over its renewables and climate change agenda, the CCA this week held a briefing call with industry representatives and groups who have advocated that fuel tax credits be abolished or wound back.

Already the Climate Porn industry is using the ghastly death and destruction in Nepal to sell Net Zero and Socialism, even though landslides have always happened, and there was a far worse one in 1190AD.

How are energy-intensive industries in Australia supposed to compete against China when Blackout Bowen deliberately restricts them from using electricity generated from Australian coal — the exact same coal we ship straight to China so their factories can run rings around us?
This insanity has already slaughtered industry after industry in Australia. However, the full economic carnage is being masked over with endless government handouts – all funded by borrowed money.
When those subsidies finally dry up, the remaining businesses will shut their doors for good — leaving future generations crushed under a mountain of debt, with no wealth-creating industries left to generate the money needed to service it. Blackout Bowen, with his reckless stupidity and fanatical Net Zero zealotry, has condemned Australia’s children and grandchildren to hardship, decline, and poverty.
In the same week Labor stood by cutting healthcare access for veterans, secret plans for a new ‘carbon tax’ on all Aussies have been revealed.
Labor is planning on creating a carbon-credit system for fuels, to punish Aussies for using diesel and petrol, or boarding flights.
In their own paper, it states: “modelled approaches would be expected to increase compliance costs for obligated entities to varying degrees as they transition towards low carbon liquid fuels and other eligible compliance pathways.” That means they KNOW this carbon tax will raise the cost of fuel for YOU.
Foreign investors in renewables get a special 15% CGT rate until 2040 because “investment will flow to other countries.”
Australian investors lose the 50% discount for backing Australian businesses and shares. Same capital flight risk. @AlboMP just doesn’t give a damn about Australian ownership or aspiration.
One rule for global capital. Another for the people who actually take the risk here. This is not reform. It’s preference.
Stupid is as stupid does.

The poison pen of international courts
Two years ago the toothless International Court of Justice effectively elevated climate protection into the realm of international human-rights obligations.
“Europe is burning because of climatechange – we must have fewer children, eat the bugs and destroy agriculture to save the planet.”
What a surprise.
France has now ARRESTED almost 400peopleinconnectionwithwildfires. I remember how the left and the media tried to push the narrative that the massive wildfiresin Europe was caused by climate change.
Media cite wildfires as proof of man-made global warming, often omitting major factors like arson and accidents.
A firefighter look works to put out a wildfire burning through vegetation on the hills of Montfort-sur-Argens, southeastern France on July 31, 2026. New evacuations were decided by the authorities” notably in neighborhoods of the communes of Correns and Montfort-sur-Agens, indicated the prefect of the Var, Simon Babre and “2,000 have been evacuated”, in total.
French authorities have arrested nearly 400 people in connection with this summer’s devastating wildfires, further undercutting the legacy media narrative of climate change being chiefly responsible for the annual occurrences.

This betrayal of Australians did not begin yesterday. It has been creeping up for decades, a slow but relentless erosion of the freedoms and self-reliance that once defined us.
Our leaders are deeply afraid of us.
We must demand the reversal of oppressive laws, the restoration of secure borders, an end to culturally corrosive ideologies, the return of unfettered free expression, and meaningful tax relief. We must unite, at the ballot box, in public discourse, in every available forum Continue reading Australia: Divided, Dependent & Disarmed
One year ago, the International Court of Justice in The Hague declared that all nations are obligated to protect the sky from greenhouse gas emissions. It’s unfortunate, but climate zealotry stubbornly hangs on. [some emphasis, links added]
A little more than a year ago, we noted that “our friend Steven Hayward,” a university professor and incisive thinker, had written “a compelling essay … about ‘The Nadir of the Climate Change Movement.’”
We also chronicled in “Climate Alarm On The Run” parts I and II about the Washington Post decision to cut its climate “reporting” team down to “five lonely reporters” and the elimination of the National Public Radio climate desk, which is “what happens when ‘journalists’ keep reporting about a dead horse.”
