Suicidal empathy refers to the act of showing empathy for others in a way that causes significant harm to oneself. The term was coined by Canadian scholar Gad Saad to describe a societal trend where excessive empathy can lead to detrimental outcomes for individuals and communities.

Yet, the Biden administration not only let them into the country, but in many cases facilitated their entry into the country.”
