A video has emerged showing the kidnapping of a Coptic shop owner in Naga Hamadi, Egypt. These abductions are a common occurrence and large sums of money are usually demanded from the families otherwise the victims are killed. We hear of countless accounts of such incidents targeting Coptic traders but this is the first kidnapping captured on CCTV.

These brazen attacks happen in broad daylight. You will notice that the Coptic Christians in the shop are totally powerless to defend themselves, as any resistance would mean death to all of them.

This video was sent to us by an Arabic speaking Coptic Christian lady.

CAIR: Muslims ‘uncomfortable’ in America’s ‘free’ society

Every once in a while someone says or tweets something that exposes their truly heart-felt opinion.

Such was the case Tuesday when CAIR issued a tweet saying Muslims are uncomfortable in America’s free society.

The tweet links to an article at the Asian Tribune that attempts to show just how bad Muslims have it in the United States.

The tweet didn’t sit well with most people.

Anyone who professes an ideology that regards their hosts as inferior and seeks their destruction doesn’t deserve to be in the country in the first place.–Check it out, here.

The Stop the Mosque in Kalgoorlie Facebook page began last week and had amassed 729 likes by this morning.

It is linked to three other anti-mosque pages, including Stop the Mosque Bendigo which became national news last week after it was revealed it was funded by far-right lobby group Restore Australia.

The Stop the Mosque page, which bears the disclaimer, “no Islamic debate or trolls tolerated here,” has 727 followers.

That sucks. And the OIC, the “international community”,  at least one hundred  Arab financed ‘human rights’ organisations and the enemedia keeps beating the drums  for them. The Burmese are fully aware of what’s at stake; but the pressure is mounting. So far, Aung San Suu Kyi  withstood the pressure; but she is also a politician.

Julie Bishop in Burma

Ms Bishop has arrived in the Rangoon, and will meet President Thein Sein and Opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi during a side trip to the new capital, Naypyidaw.

Ms Bishop’s visit acknowledges Australia’s support for Myanmar’s transition from a brutal military regime towards a fledgling democracy.

She’s says the current arms embargo imposed by Australia won’t be discussed this time.

I’ve worried before about Waleed Aly, the most influential Islamic apologist in the country.

Waleed Aly does it again: giving the murder of three young Jews some “broader” context

Once the spokesturd for the Islamic Council of Victoria, he is now an ABC radio host, a Channel 10 co-presenter and an Age columnist.

He is even a politics lecturer at Monash University’s Global Terrorism Research Centre, despite having no doctorate and having qualified in engineering and law.

Sounds like he is Australia’s Barry Soetoro, aka Hussein Obama!

This week Aly showed the style that’s made him such a pet of the establishment Left but a worry to me.

Nigeria’s Boko Haram group last month kidnapped more than 200 schoolgirls…

As so often when Muslim terrorists strike, Aly was brought on by Channel Ten’s The Project to explain away our fears as “an expert in terrorism”.

“So who is this group exactly?” he was asked.

Not once in his answer did “Muslim” or “Islamic” pass Aly’s lips… “… they might just be vigilantes.”

This was not an atypical approach from Aly.

When jihadists bombed the Boston marathon, he initially jumped to an improbable conclusion, informing Age readers of “the very real suspicion that the perpetrators here are self-styled American patriots” and “our own societies might just be implicated”.

Aly also assured 3AW the then Mufti of Australia, Sheik Taj el-Din el-Hilali, was not a worry even though he’d praised suicide bombers as “heroes” and called the September 11 attacks “God’s work against oppressors”.

Aly said he had no idea who had made Hilali mufti and he represented no one. In fact, Aly’s own Islamic Council of Victoria had voted with other members of the Federation of Islamic Councils of Australia for Hilali to represent their faith.

“The issue here is not religion – the issue is extremism.”

By which Muselmaniacs mean Christian and Jewish ‘extremists’, of course. Asking the soldiers of allah to fight against  jihad is like trying to put a fire out with gasoline.

Islamic leaders say they will do what they can to stop young Australians heading overseas to fight alongside extremists, after meeting with Attorney-General George Brandis.

Several clerics this morning met with Senator Brandis at Parliament House in Canberra to discuss the problem of so-called home-grown terrorism.

Senator Brandis says about 60 Australians are currently fighting in Iraq and Syria, with dozens more supporting them.

The Abbott Government says most do not want to return home, but claims those who do are likely to be up to “no good”.

Senator Brandis told the senior Islamic leaders that they are important partners and he wants them to use their moral authority to stop young Muslims joining ISIS, or other militant groups, in the Middle East.

“In your communities in particular you have a especially important role as moral leaders, as charismatic figures, as authority figures, as religious leaders,” he said.

“The issue here is not religion – the issue is extremism.”

I call it Islam. There is nothing more toxic and extreme than Islam. Now how do we get Brandis to understand that?
