Why is the promotion of homosexuality suddenly so important to the government–media establishment?

Because it is a means to an end.

There is more at stake here even than our right to run our own businesses as we please, in accordance with our own values. The Christian religion has historically been a major obstacle to tyranny. An obvious example is the Catholic Church’s resistance to communist rule in Poland. This is why statists are reflexively hostile to Christians.

NY Middle School Girls Forced to Ask Classmates for “Lesbian Kiss” Pretend Like They Are On a Date

A New York middle school sponsored a workshop where 13 and 14 year-old girls were told to ask one another for a kiss and pretend like they were on a date.

A recent anti-bullying presentation at a middle school in New York that focused on homosexuality and gender identity has angered parents after their daughters have come home to tell them they were forced to ask another girl for a kiss.

According to reports, the session occurred last week at Linden Avenue Middle School in Red Hook, New York, near Poughkeepsie. A group of students from Bard College led two workshops for the youth, separated by gender.

During the workshop for girls, the 13 and 14-year-olds were told to ask one another for a lesbian kiss. They were also taught words such as “pansexual” and “genderqueer.”

Sultan of Brunei threatens his citizens following online criticism of Sharia law plan

Sultan Hassanal Bolkiam, who is worth $20 billion, ominously said people will be sorry they criticized the plan once Sharia law is in place.

Examples of Sharia punishments include stoning for adultery and severing of limbs for theft. The Taliban often uses Sharia law to justify brutality in areas it controls.

"It is truly frightening to think that we might potentially be stoned to death for being lovers, that we may be fined for being of a different sexual orientation, and that what we wear will be regulated," one recent post online read criticizing the sultan.

Sharia Enforced: Google ordered to remove anti-Islamic film from YouTube

(Reuters) – A U.S. appeals court on Wednesday ordered Google Inc to remove from its YouTube video-sharing website an anti-Islamic film that had sparked protests across the Muslim world.

By a 2-1 vote, a panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected Google’s assertion that the removal of the film “Innocence of Muslims” amounted to a prior restraint of speech that violated the U.S. Constitution.

The plaintiff, Cindy Lee Garcia, had objected to the film after learning that it incorporated a clip she had made for a different movie, which had been partially dubbed and in which she appeared to be asking: “Is your Mohammed a child molester?”

In a statement, Google said: “We strongly disagree with this ruling and will fight it.”

They should. Our future depends on it.

Cris Armenta, a lawyer for Garcia, said she is delighted with the decision.

“Ordering YouTube and Google to take down the film was the right thing to do,” Armenta said in an email. “The propaganda film differs so radically from anything that Ms. Garcia could have imagined when the director told her that she was being cast in the innocent adventure film.”

“The right thing to do”. WTF did we hear that before?

The Imam Sweeney told them: ”You each converted to Islam some years ago. Thereafter you were radicalised and each became an extremist, espousing views which, as has been said elsewhere, are a betrayal of Islam.” This enraged them, and they began a fight in the courtroom. It would have been interesting to see Mufti Sweeney explain what exactly was a betrayal of Islam in the actions of Mujaahid Abu Hamza and Ismail ibn Abdullah, aka Adebolajo and Adebowale. Right after the murder, Mujaahid Abu Hamza invoked the Qur’an and made specific reference to the Islamic doctrine that one must fight against those who fight against Islam.

The Qur’an says, “Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors” (2:190). That “do not transgress” has often been interpreted by Islamic scholars as meaning, do not begin hostilities. I.e., this verse is a foundation for defensive jihad. But in this case, as the killer himself made clear, he believed that the soldier was fighting Muslims in Islamic lands — Iraq and Afghanistan. So the soldier was already fighting Muslims, and the killer would have thought that he was not “transgressing” by therefore fighting “in the way of Allah those who fight you” — i.e., the Muslims.

And how is one to fight them? “And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers” (2:191). “Kill them wherever you overtake them” — even on, say, a street in Woolwich.

Until British (and American) authorities come to grips with the fact that there is ample Islamic justification for such murders, and stop playing games with their Let’s Play Pretend version of Islam, there will be many more such killings.

What you need to know about Boko Haram

it should be obvious what Boko Haram means. “The Book” — i.e., books in general, all books but the Qur’an — are “haram,”  that is, forbidden. But that is never stated.

It would too bleakly reveal the inculcated hatred toward all books, all learning other than what is in the Qur’an, that is would reveal too much about Islam. So Reuters, and every other news organization in the Western world, keeps repeating that “Boko Haram” means “Western education is sinful.”

That’s true, but why not simply state that “boko” means books, all books but the Qur’an, and that would apply to Eastern books as well as to “Western education,” and “Haram” is not Hausa at all, but Arab and deeply Muslim, and means “forbidden.”

Why can’t that be said, once and for all? Why this “Western education is sinful” business? It’s every kind of education, of learning, other than what’s in Islam. Nothing exists for the men of Boko Haram outside of Islam. They take their Islam straight up, not on the rocks. Thus they embarrass those Muslims who have managed to avoid taking to heart, or acting on, what they know to be the Islamic injunctions. But why do non-Muslims keep pretending that what prompts Boko Haram is some wild crazed idiosyncratic doctrine, and not something that comes directly from the texts of Islam, and the example of Muhammad?

The French passport, a EU passport no less, comes in handy.
