Al BeBeeCeera calls Islamic terrorists “gunmen”, it also mentions “Islamists”. It might be a breath of fresh air that they skipped the “sectarian violence” rubbish:
Fifty-five people have been killed in the north-east of Nigeria in co-ordinated attacks by the Boko Haram militant group, the Nigerian army says.
It said 105 prisoners were freed in the pre-dawn raid in Bama, Borno state.
Bama’s police station, military barracks and government buildings were burned to the ground, said the military and witnesses.
Correspondents say extremist attacks are common in the region but the scale of bloodshed makes this raid stand out.
This strike – coming on the back of other deadly attacks – undermines the suggestion that the military operation against the militants has diminished the threat they pose, says the BBC’s Will Ross in Lagos.

France struggles to contain jihad recruitment in prisons
France has a problem with jihad recruitment? Me thinks France has a problem with Islam:
This is a problem all over the West. Islamic supremacists target prisoners for recruitment because they have in them a population that is already alienated and aggressive — and they preach to them a religion of aggression and alienation (from the Infidels and their society).

Emma Alberici spends most of her interview with shadow attorney general George Brandis trying to knock down his undeniable proposition that the Gillard Government has mounted the most outrageous attacks on free speech by a peace-time government, with too few journalists seeming even to care.
Then, apparently blind to the irony, she protests that all journalists (like her) really do care, after all. Brandis, so assured throughout the interview, rises to his imperious best:

A survey of Republicans found nearly half agreed that “an armed revolution in order to protect liberties might be necessary in the next few years.”
It found 44 percent of registered Republicans believed an armed rebellion could come in the next few years.

Given Sharia prohibitions on free speech, that is to be expected. So is the violence that Bangladesh is experiencing — it will come here, too.

Ten people were killed and hundreds more injured in Bangladesh today in fierce street fighting between police and Islamic hardliners demanding the death penalty for blasphemy.Rioters chanting ‘God is greatest!’ torched shops and vehicles, blocked roads and fought bloody battles with police in the capital of Dhaka and its suburbs.
Seven people were killed in the early morning clashes in the city centre and another three died in Kanchpur on the city’s outskirts, local media reported.
That was a few days ago. The riots have since intensified:

from yesterday, Sunday May 5- 200,000 Islamists marched in large rallies in Bangladesh to press the govt to enact hardline sharia law which critics have described as on par with the Taliban and their legal system. They also demand that the govt kill various bloggers and media figures for “insulting” Islam. Violence spread from Dhaka, the capital to other parts of the country including Chittagong, where this video was recorded and 5 people were murdered in large riots. I have no idea why these people were murdered by the mob, either they wore govt uniforms or they were Hindus, who have been targeted in large scale attacks recently by the majority muslim population. In total 20 people have so far been reported killed from yesterday with the figure likely to climb.

 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern)-More than 140 children have been rescued from Islamic training centers (madrassas) in the last nine months, with a majority of the children targeted because of their Christian faith.  The females, accounting for nearly half of those rescued, report that they were used for forced labor and sex slavery.

This is what happens when new cultures enter a country and do not face the requirement or receive sufficient time to assimilate properly.

Qaeda Urges Hits on French Interests, Hollande Taking Threats Seriously (h/t Mullah)
Leader of Al-Qaeda in North Africa Abu Obaida al-Annabi urged ‘Muslims’ worldwide to attack French interests in retaliation for France’s military intervention against the militants in Mali, according to a video message posted online.
“It is your duty, all Muslims… to attack French interests everywhere,” said in the recording dated April 25.Annabi, presented as the head of the council of dignitaries of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, or AQIM, called for “full mobilization” to combat the “new crusade of France”. “Jihad (holy war) is now the duty of every capable among you,” he said.
French President Francois Hollande reacted swiftly by saying that Paris takes the Al-Qaeda threat “seriously”. “We are taking seriously the threat by AQIM,” Hollande told reporters, adding that despite considerable losses inflicted on Islamists in Mali, “the terrorist threat has not disappeared.”
Annabi’s call came days after Mohammed al-Zawahiri, the brother of Al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri, issued a similar threat. “France is playing with fire… By attacking Mali, France lit the fuse and will suffer the consequences,” Mohammed told French weekly Le Point last month. “The reaction of jihadi fighters is likely to be strong, be it in Mali or on French territory. “France kills our children, we must respond. We have neither bombs nor planes, but our resources allow us to take hostages to defend ourselves,” he said.
