Tommy Robinson was arrested on Monday evening in Canada after delivering an address in Calgary on the importance of free speech following which around 10 plain-clothed under-cover police officers detained him.

Tommy Robinson, an outspoken critic of mass migration, and commentator on the incongruity of Islamic beliefs with Western society, particularly majority-Muslim child rape gangs in England, was arrested on an alleged immigration offence after giving a speech to around 150 people in Calgary during his planned three-stop tour of Canada hosted by Ezra Levant’s Rebel News.

Footage posted on social media showed Robinson being handcuffed and put in the back of a police car by what appeared to be undercover officers in street clothes. The right-wing activist was seen laughing while describing his arrest as “absolutely insane”.

Labour Party Looks to Push Trans Ideology in Schools

The left-wing Labour Party may look to scrap government guidance telling schools to teach children that there are only two biological sexes, which would easily be overturned given the failure of the Conservative government to put the policy into law.

Shadow education secretary Bridget Phillipson said that if elected — as is widely predicted to happen — a Labour government would review guidance from Rishi Sunak’s government which told educators to refrain from teaching far-left gender ideology as a fact.

This included the theory that people can somehow be born into the wrong body, can change their sexual identity, or can inhabit newfangled sexual grey areas such as “non-binary”. The guidance also told teachers to clarify for students that there are only two sexes, male and female.

Yet given the refusal of the Conservatives to codify such positions into law and merely lay them out in the technically optional guidance, the next government will have little in the way of impediments from issuing new guidance.

When pressed multiple times by the BBC on Sunday on whether a Labour government would retract the guidance, Phillipson refused to give a straight answer but suggested that a change may be on the table.

“Many aspects of the draft (guidance) had good and straightforward principles in it, other elements of it I think drifted far too much into partisan and unnecessary language that I think makes it harder for schools to navigate this,” she said, adding that Labour would carry out a “consultation” on the issue before making a final decision.

The Hungarian government appears to have taken a cue from former President Donald Trump as it is set to take over the presidency of the Council of the European Union, vowing to “Make Europe Great Again”.

Budapest has unveiled its agenda as it prepares to take over the rotating presidency on July 1st until the end of the year. Alongside a seven-point policy programme, Hungary also revealed its logo for its presidency, which featured the Hungarian-invented Rubix cube as well as the Trump-inspired “Make Europe Great Again!”.

The choice of the slogan, an apparently conscious thumb in the eye of the failures of globalist policies favoured by elites in Brussels, is perhaps not surprising given that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has been Donald Trump’s closest ally and staunchest defender within the EU since 2016.

Hungary Fined €200 Million By EU For Not Allowing Migrant Invasion – PM Orban Slams ‘Financial Blackmail’

A European Union court has ordered Hungary to pay a fine of €200 million for refusing to adhere to the bloc’s rules imposing open borders on all its member states.

The ruling, which dates back to Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s refusal to implement a 2020 order from the European Court allow migrants to stay in Hungary indefinitely pending their asylum appeals, also states that Hungary must pay a daily fine of one million euros until it complies.

In its verdict, the European Court of Justice said that Hungary had refused to “comply with the 2020 judgment as regards the right of applicants for international protection to remain in Hungary pending a final decision on their appeal against the rejection of their application and the removal of illegally staying third-country nationals.”

“That failure, which consists in deliberately avoiding the application of a common EU policy as a whole, constitutes an unprecedented and extremely serious infringement of EU law,” the verdict continued.

“Noa said that they were slaves, and so were the [female soldiers], including Liri,” Shira Albag says in a statement. “They cleaned the yard, did dishes and prepared food that they were not allowed to eat.”

The abduction of hostages is a war crime, as is refusing Red Cross visits, and forcing hostages into slavery. The plight of the female hostages has been largely ignored by “progressive” groups in the West, many of which are anti-Israel.

Israeli hostages who were freed in a rescue operation Saturday reportedly confirmed that they had been held by Palestinian journalist Abdallah Aljamal — but a CNN story about the claim continues to say it is “without … evidence.”

The four rescued hostages had been held in two separate homes in Nuseirat, Gaza, within 200 meters of each other. One female hostage, Noa Argamani, was held in one location, while the three male hostages were held in another.

As Breitbart News reported, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that the three male hostages had been held by a journalist named Abdallah Aljamal, identified as a contributor for the Palestine Chronicle (listed as a non-profit “charity” in the United States) and for Al Jazeera, the Middle Eastern outlet backed by the Qatari government.

They described the situation as “unacceptable,” and “shameful,” and even calling New York City “Anti-African, racist and Xeonophobic,” charging that the council is “responsible for this pain and suffering” that will affect migrants “for generations to come.”

A SECOND British police force has sparked fury by saying they would consider allowing Muslim officers to wear burkas.

West Midlands Police Chief Constable David Thompson was blasted after he refused to rule out allowing female recruits to wear the face-covering garments.

He said that his force “would have to consider” any requests to wear the burka, which covers both the face and body, and the full-face niqab, which leaves the eye area clear.

The decision was met with outrage from MPs and public figures and was even slammed as a bad idea by the Muslim Council of Britain.

Tory MP David Davies, who worked as a policeman in London for nine years, blasted the move as “a load of politically correct nonsense”.

But today, Leicestershire Police’s Chief Constable Simon Cole said he would also consider Muslim WPCs’ wishes to wear full Islamic dress while on duty.

He added: “We have been made aware of discussions in other police forces regarding incorporating burkas into police uniform.

“It is not something that Leicestershire Police has been asked to consider by an officer or a potential recruit.

“If such a request was made, it would be considered in line with force policies.”

Leicestershire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Lord Bach also said he would be “sympathetic” to the idea.

But Chief Constable Simon Cole’s comments were criticised by public figures in Leicestershire.

Gush Bhumbra, the president of the Leicester Secular Society, said: “As a member of the public I want to see a face to comfort me in a stressful situation.

“If I’ve been the victim of a crime or an accident and an officer behind a mask would not do that for me as much as normal face-to-face contact.
