Norway Cashes In on European Enviromoonbattery

.

Finally, a silver lining has been found for the deranged enviromoonbattery that has crippled the economy of Europe. At least it provides economic opportunities for countries that reject ecoidiocy in favor of reliable and efficient fossil fuels — like Norway.

Via American Greatness:

Despite pressures to decarbonize, Norway has increased efforts to exploit oil and natural gas reserves. …

Targeted will be “frontier areas”—little-explored regions that can reward high risk with massive returns. While the U.K. suffocates its North Sea industry with windfall taxes and regulatory hostility, Norway is effectively saying, “If you won’t drill, we will.”

Black gold won’t just sit there in the ground indefinitely because fools regard it as haram.

As Norway invests in oil and gas, European countries that prefer to invest in green energy pipe dreams are becoming increasingly dependent on it for energy.

Norway does its part to appease moonbat weather gods by making heavy use of politically fashionable electric cars. However,

The gleaming EVs filling the streets of Oslo are subsidized by the government’s oil revenue.

Let’s hope the climate has a sense of humor.

Ursula von der Leyen declares:

We all agree that climate change is real and man-made, and that it is the responsibility of us all to combat it. The threat posed by climate change is existential.

These statements increasingly sound as though they come from a parallel world. While Europe’s real infrastructure is visibly deteriorating, while power grids are becoming unstable, states of emergency are being declared, entire neighbourhoods are paralysed by terrorist attacks, and core functions of the state are failing with growing frequency, the EU leadership remains obsessively fixated on a CO₂ narrative that has long since become more ideology than science. The Australian Government just blew $20 million on an ad campaign to “combat misinformation”

Curiously, it is the government that puts out all the ‘misinformation’.

The Government just blew $20 million on an ad campaign to “combat misinformation” by telling drivers to drive less,  inflate their tyres and remove their roof racks to save fuel.

Australia’s reckless renewables experiment is now in total collapse.

Families are being crushed by the highest electricity prices in the developed world. Yet Australia is sitting on the world’s greatest energy resources.

This includes the largest uranium reserves on Earth, some of the biggest coal and gas deposits anywhere and the capacity to be an energy superpower for generations. It’s on track to cost Australian taxpayers well over a trillion dollars. It is not delivering the reliable, affordable power our industries, businesses and households need to grow.

Prime farming land is being carpet-bombed with giant wind and solar factories that only work when the wind blows and the sun shines. None of it will make a measurable difference to global temperatures — Australia produces less than 1.3 % of world emissions.

This is no longer an energy policy. It is a shoddy taxpayer-funded racket that is actively dismantling the Australian economy. Any government serious about fixing this would pull the plug on the subsidies and mandates immediately and let abundant coal, gas and nuclear resources do what they were always meant to do: deliver cheap, reliable power 24/7.

Voters must send the clearest possible message at the ballot box: reject any candidate still backing these failed, economy-wrecking projects. Australia deserves better. It’s time to put the lights back on.

Craig Kelly:

THE VILLAGE IDIOT

Every village has an idiot. Australia got stuck with Chris Bowen — the undisputed champion.

Normally the village idiot is harmlessly ignored. But Bowen has somehow failed his way all the way up to Energy Minister, where he’s now a clear and present danger to the entire country. While Australia is on its knees, desperately begging the world for more oil and diesel, this out-of-touch moron struts around proclaiming “no one is calling for more fossil fuels.” Continue reading The Australian Government just blew $20 million on an ad campaign to “combat misinformation”

Al Bozo, the Defecator

“Defecator”, that’s the word I been looking for!

Al Bozo loves to fly around in the world to beg for fossil fuels…. it makes him feel important:

Just the kind of DEI (Didn’t Earn It) appointee we need to run the military, right?

Not sure about her wartime experience, but what matters is that she’s a c*nt.

“Look at me, Im Al Bozo, I buy fuel from other countries at a premium during a fuel crisis because I don’t know how to run a country filled with natural resources….”

Down with the EUSSR!

The EUSSR is still ruled by WEF  “young global leaders”

Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, warned that if Italy’s election results lead to a government that deviates from EU democratic principles, the country could face sanctions similar to those imposed on Hungary and Poland. This statement has sparked significant backlash in Italy, with critics accusing her of undermining the democratic process.

Germany Puts Itself Out of Business

“Deutschland schafft sich ab”

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen declared that Europe’s retreat from nuclear power had been “a strategic mistake.”

Also this week, Germany’s current Chancellor (Friedrich Merz) weighed in on this nuclear blunder when he called the reactor phase-out “a mistake” and said, “I regret this.”

Great. Then fix it!

But they’re not going to do that. Unfortunately for Germany, said the Chancellor, “it is the way it is, and we are now concentrating on the energy policy we have.”

Unbelievable.

The Most Expensive Science Lesson in European History

Germany is a fifteen-year case study in how terrible policies can weaken a country

Authored by James Hickman via SchiffSovereign.com,

On March 11, 2011, a magnitude 9.0 earthquake struck off the coast of Japan and triggered a massive tsunami that slammed into the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. Three of the plant’s six reactors melted down, and it became the worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl.

On the other side of the world, German Chancellor Angela Merkel panicked.

Her government had extended the operating lives of Germany’s 17 nuclear reactors just five months earlier. But, because of the earthquake in Japan, Merkel reversed course overnight and mothballed eight German reactors.

But Merkel’s decision wasn’t really about natural disasters. It was political.

Merkel was terrified of Germany’s Green Party— which was literally founded on anti-nuclear activism in 1980 and had been gaining ground. A critical regional election was just two weeks away, and Merkel was hoping that she might pull out a victory if she killed the reactors.

Her gambit didn’t work, and the Greens won anyway.

But at that point the fate of nuclear had already been set in motion. Within three months, the German government decided to phase out EVERY nuclear reactor in the country.

Bear in mind that Germany’s 17 reactors were generating over a third of the country’s electricity… with zero carbon emissions. That’s a pretty good thing for a country obsessed with climate change. Continue reading Germany Puts Itself Out of Business

EU chief & Merz agree: blowing up nuclear reactors was “a mistake”, but “irreversible”

“Climate Change”

Whoops! Ending Nuclear Power May Have Been a Mistake After All, Says EU Chief

Imagine having to pick up the tab for the “mistakes” of these imbeciles.

(LtoR) French President Emmanuel Macron, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Rafael Grossi and Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)

Europe’s mad dash to decommission its nuclear power plants was a “strategic mistake” which now has to be rectified, European Commission boss Ursula von der Leyen has admitted.

Energy prices are too high in Europe, which harms both consumers and industrial competitiveness, and this is partly because several European nations destroyed their own nuclear energy industries, leaving the continent dependent on imported gas and oil, a nuclear energy conference in Paris heard on Tuesday.

EU chief Ursula von der Leyen, who was a member of the Angela Merkel-led government that decided to destroy Germany’s nuclear energy, and who personally voted in the German parliament to end the nuclear programme, appears to have now seen the error of her ways.

They never had any “capacity to predict climate change” to begin with. Good riddance to bad rubbish!

Acknowledging absolutely none of her own culpability in the decision-making process, or that Germany led the charge against nuclear, Von der Leyen said at the Paris conference: “This reduction in the share of nuclear was a choice. I believe that it was a strategic mistake for Europe to turn its back on a reliable, affordable source of low-emissions power. This should change”. Boston terror suspect a well connected Saudi

“Innocent” Saudi in Boston bombing has (family)  ties to several al-Qaeda terrorists

Posted on April 17, 2013 by creeping

via Walid Shoebat.

A couple of weeks ago we warned America about the very serious problem of Saudi infiltration; many of these Saudi nationals criminals and terrorists.

After the bombings, a Saudi by the name of Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi was hospitalized and became a ‘suspect’, then a ‘person of interest’. His apartment was searched by federal and local authorities. No confirmation has been given so far to his involvement. The Media were quick to claim his innocence, of course.

This brings us to the Boston marathon bombings. Foreign Policy is reporting that he’s ‘no longer a person of interest’, which means he’s “innocent”, right?

Dumber than dirt:

“Innocent” Saudis:

Do any of those three resemble Alharbi, who can be seen in this photo, via Al Aribya?

A Saudi national named Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi – who has six relatives belonging to Al Qaeda and five that were detained at Gitmo – was injured at the scene of terrorist bombings at the Boston marathon. The bombings had certain characteristics that indicate they were the work of Al Qaeda.

Now we have a photo(s) of what very well could be three Saudis, to include at least one who resembles Alharbi at the scene of the bombings.

And Alharbi went from ‘person of interest’ to completely innocent in less than 24 hours?

Smell coverup yet?

Agenda 21: Australia falls hook line & sinker for the treaty of the sea fraud

This is about global governance by the corruptocrats of the UN:

Government planning huge marine park expansion

World’s biggest carbon tax, now world’s biggest park

Why not turn Australia into a zoo?  Then we could build a bridge to Indonesia so the “Muslim world” could come and look at us.

Just to give you an idea where the money goes from the ‘carbon tax’ we had to have:

The U.N. is funneling millions of dollars worth of tradable carbon credits to corrupt nations worldwide, including Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Uzbekistan in an attempt to encourage clean energy projects in the developing world.

And now this:

The Coral Sea reserve, when combined with the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, would become the world’s largest marine protected area, covering 1.3 million square kilometres.

The ABC has obtained an Environment Department proposal for a network of marine parks that would make up the biggest ocean conservation sanctuary in the world.

Environment Minister Tony Burke’s upcoming announcement of a national network of Commonwealth marine parks has been described by environmentalists as a chance for the government to leave a legacy as significant as the protection of the Great Barrier Reef or Kakadu.

The documents show a huge protected area in the Coral Sea off Queensland, stretching all the way along the state’s coastline and a long way out to sea. (Continued,  click here for videos and maps,)
