Israel breaks all contact with UN secretary-general over sex abuse blacklist

Israel’s envoy to the UN says it’s severing all contact with United Nations chief Antonio Guterres, saying it’s “outrageous” his country is being blacklisted over sexual violence in conflict zones.

“We are done with this secretary-general,” ambassador Danny Danon said in a video posted on X.

“The decision to blacklist Israel and accuse us of using sexual violence as a weapon of war is an outrageous decision,” he said, referring to an upcoming report from Guterres’s office.

Iran: Trump might be compelled to “finish the job”

Iran says return to war unlikely, but Trump ‘not satisfied’ with deal

Iran said on Wednesday that a return to war with the United States was unlikely as the two sides inched towards a deal, though President Donald Trump said he was not happy with Tehran’s latest offer.

U.S. Military Launches Precision “Self-Defense Strikes” in Southern Iran – Neutralizing IRGC Threats to American Troops After Radical Regime’s Latest Provocations

The US leader warned he might be compelled to “finish the job” if a better arrangement was not reached, even as optimism for a peace deal that would reopen the crucial Strait of Hormuz trade route sent oil prices tumbling.

With fighting paused since an April 8 ceasefire, negotiations to bring an end to the conflict and resume trade through the blockaded waterway have stalled, leaving the global economy shaken by the tumult.

But senior Iranian Revolutionary Guards official Mohammad Akbarzadeh said the likelihood of a return to “war is low because of the enemy’s weakness”, but warned the military was “lying in wait with full magazines” in the event of an attack, Tasnim news agency reported.

Trump, meanwhile, said in a cabinet meeting at the White House that he was in no rush to reach an accord, despite saying at the weekend that one was close.

“Iran is very much intent, they want very much to make a deal. So far they haven’t gotten there. We’re not satisfied with it, but we will be,” he said.

“Either that or we’ll have to just finish the job.”

Israel must end the dangerous illusion of deterrence on the northern border – editorial

While Israelis were told that deterrence had been restored after airstrikes on Hezbollah and that Hezbollah understood the price of escalation, the reality in the North tells a different story.

Israeli soldiers take position as civilians take cover during a Hezbollah attack near the Israeli border with Lebanon in northern Israel, May 19, 2026.

Since the ceasefire between the US, Israel, and Iran was announced on April 8, 11 Israeli soldiers have been killed in Lebanon. Eleven. That number alone should be enough to force a national reckoning about what exactly Israel believes is happening on its northern border.

Netanyahu vows to ‘wipe out’ Hezbollah as Israeli strikes intensify in southern Lebanon

Netanyahu has said that Israel will ramp up attacks against Hezbollah, despite the recent “ceasefire” extension agreed to between Lebanese and Israeli officials.

“We will wipe them out completely,” he said in a statement.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent in southern Lebanon, Obaida Hitto, said that, at this point, the ceasefire is just “ink on paper”.

Proposed deal will include Iran committing to never having nukes and surrendering its uranium

How will this be enforced? How will the world know that Iran’s Islamic regime has surrendered allof its just-below-weapons-grade uranium? This is a Shi’ite regime, and a central doctrine of Shi’ism is taqiyya; in light of that, how can this regime be trusted to honor any agreement it signs? Fear of “Islamophobia” prevent such questions from ever being asked, but that doesn’t make them any less pertinent. As long as the Islamic Republic remains in power, it will continue its jihad, as soon as it is able to do so. If it gets $25,000,000,000 from the United States, that will be sooner rather than later.

Any negotiated settlement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the U.S. will be worth nothing. All it will do will be to buy time for Iran’s Islamic regime, allowing it to regroup and resume its jihad against the U.S. and Israel later.

Soon Everyone Will Be Talking About The Cost Of Food

There is not going to be an agreement to end the war.

Everyone Talks About The Cost Of Gasoline… Soon Everyone Will Be Talking About The Cost Of Food

“The big story right now is oil… The next story is food.”

For most people, the price of gasoline is the most obvious consequence of the war in the Middle East. As I write this article, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States is $4.56. Of course, in some parts of the country, consumers are paying much more than that. This is a big story, and the truth is that gasoline prices are going to go even higher in the months ahead.

But if you think that the price of gasoline is bad, just wait until you see what eventually happens to food prices. The price of diesel has been rising even faster than the price of regular gasoline, and fertilizer prices have been absolutely skyrocketing. Those costs will get passed along to the rest of us. It is just a matter of time. Meanwhile, our farmers are dealing with drought conditions that are unprecedented, and now a “Super El Niño” is coming.

What all of this means is that food prices will rise to very painful levels.

So even though everyone is complaining about rising gasoline prices at the moment, one prominent economist is warning that “the next story is food”

Trump Rips Media over Iran Coverage: ‘They Have Gone Absolutely Crazy’

President Donald Trump ripped establishment media on Monday, contending that even if Iran surrendered, outlets like the New York Times would spin it as a victory over the United States.

Trump blasted the Times and others in a Truth Social post on Monday morning:

If Iran surrenders, admits their Navy is gone and resting at the bottom of the sea, and their Air Force is no longer with us, and if their entire Military walks out of Tehran, weapons dropped and hands held high, each shouting “I surrender, I surrender” while wildly waving the representative White Flag, and if their entire remaining Leadership signs all necessary “Documents of Surrender,” and admit their defeat to the great power and force of the magnificent U.S.A., The Failing New York Times, The China Street Journal (WSJ!), Corrupt and now Irrelevant CNN, and all other members of the Fake News Media, will headline that Iran had a Masterful and Brilliant Victory over The United States of America, it wasn’t even close. Israeli forces are intercepting a flotilla of more than 50 boats near Cyprus

Israeli forces boarding Gaza-bound flotilla near Cyprus, activists say

Pro-Palestinian ‘activists’ say Israeli forces are intercepting a flotilla of more than 50 boats carrying aid for Gaza in international waters west of Cyprus.

The Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) said its fleet was being boarded in what it called an illegal act of piracy about 250 nautical miles (460km) from Gaza, which is under an Israeli maritime blockade. Its video stream showed armed commandos climbing onto several boats.

Last month, Israeli forces intercepted 22 boats from the same flotilla near Crete.

The kids were having so much fun!

Good intelligence & vigilance go together.

These flotilla people were not carrying aid for the “starving people of Gaza”.

Hamas documents found in the Gaza Strip – now revealed for the first time – prove Hamas’s direct involvement in the funding and execution of the “Sumud” flotilla to Gaza

Israel doesn’t built peace on illusions

Mustapha Ezzarghani

I was not raised to see the world through the eyes of Israel. I was raised, like many in the Arab world, on stories of power and resistance, of pride and grievance. But life has a way of breaking the simplicity of inherited narratives. It forces you to confront reality, not as it is told to you, but as it unfolds before your own eyes.

And today, what I see is this: a small nation, surrounded by those who have sworn its destruction, refusing, once and for all, to live on borrowed time.
Let me speak plainly, as a Moroccan Muslim who has seen both sides of this story.

There are voices, loud, dramatic, endlessly pessimistic, claiming that Israel’s war was unnecessary, reckless, even futile. They speak as if strength itself were a sin. As if survival should come with apologies. As if a nation under constant threat must forever negotiate with those who dream of its disappearance.

IDF eliminates Hamas terror commander behind the October 7th terror attacks in 2023

Israel Defence Forces Kill Chief Hamas Architect of October 7th Terror Attacks

Palestinian militants of the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades move towards the Erez crossing be

Jerusalem has claimed that it has killed the Hamas terror commander behind the October 7th terror attacks in 2023 that saw over 1,200 people killed in Southern Israel and hundreds more taken captive.

One of the key architects behind the deadliest series of terror attacks in the history of the Jewish state has been killed, the Times of Israel reported on Saturday. The Israel Defence Forces said that he was killed in a “precise strike” in Gaza City on Friday evening.

IDF Chief of Staff  Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir is quoted by the paper in announcing the killing of the head of Hamas’s armed terrorist wing, Izz al-Din al-Haddad, whom he said was central to the deadly attacks that sparked a war in Gaza.

“This is a significant operational success by the IDF led by the Southern Command, the Intelligence Directorate, the Air Force and the Shin Bet,” Lt. Gen. Zamir said.

“In every conversation I held with the hostages who returned, the name of the arch-terrorist, Izz al-Din al-Haddad — one of the main figures responsible for the October 7 massacre and the head of Hamas’s military wing — came up again and again,” he added.

“Today, we succeeded in eliminating him. The IDF will continue to pursue our enemies, strike, and settle accounts with everyone who took part in the October 7 massacre,” Zamir vowed.

The IDF leader said that the Israeli Southern Command has been instructed to “maintain high operational readiness” in case the Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists seek to strike Israel in a revenge attack.

According to Jerusalem, Haddad had taken over as the top military commander of the Hamas terror group in May of 2025 following the killing of  Mohammed Sinwar.
