October 7 supporter’s visa cancelled after Coalition called for Tony Burke to step down over approval

A woman who praised Hamas’ October 7 attacks has had her visa cancelled, according to the Home Affairs office, after the Coalition called for Tony Burke’s resignation as Home Affairs Minister

Following the Coalition’s call for Tony Burke to step down over the visa’s approval, a Home Affairs spokesperson said on Friday afternoon “The department has advised … that the visa was cancelled today – the reasons have been communicated directly to the applicant.”

Shadow Home Affairs Minister Michaelia Cash had called for Burke’s resignation in an interview on Sky News earlier on Friday.

The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) warned this week of a “silent genocide” in Mozambique, where Islamic State jihadis are destroying churches, burning down villages, and beheading Christians – and then posting triumphant photos and videos of their atrocities online.

MEMRI has long specialized in posting and translating videos from the Middle East that have been ignored or suppressed by local and international media outlets. The Washington, DC-based Institute’s work frequently demonstrates that what Arab leaders say to domestic audiences is very different from what they tell foreign reporters.

In this case, ISIS terrorists in Mozambique have been giddily posting evidence of their attacks on Christians, but it took MEMRI to pull the gruesome social media posts together into a narrative about ethnic and religious cleansing.

It is no secret that Mozambique has a serious problem with jihadis. The United Nations sounded alarms last August that ISIS was gaining strength in Mozambique and was close to gaining “effective control” over a large swath of territory in West Africa and the Sahel. 

“The African continent now accounts for almost half of terrorist acts worldwide, with central Sahel accounting for about 25% of such attacks,” U.N. counter-terrorism committee director Natalia Gherman warned the Security Council, almost exactly one year ago today. Police Deny ‘Cover-up’ of Asylum Status of Afghan Rape Suspects, Blame ‘National Guidance’

The Warwickshire Police force has rejected claims that it engaged in a “cover-up” of the immigration status of two Afghan suspects who allegedly raped a 12-year-old girl, claiming that the information was withheld due to “national guidance”

A report over the weekend from the Mail on Sunday named the two suspects as Ahmad Mulakhil and Mohammad Kabir and revealed that they were asylum seekers living in taxpayer-funded accommodations in Nuneaton. The MoS went on to claim that local police had told officials not to divulge the immigration status of the suspects for fear of “inflaming community tensions”.

Two Afghan asylum seekers, living in taxpayer-funded houses just 70 yards from one another, are in the frame. Ahmad Mulakhil, 23, has been charged with vaginal and oral rape of a child. Alarming ‘Russiagate’ News – It’s Much Worse Than We Ever Knew

Concerns have resurfaced over alleged misconduct by intelligence and law enforcement figures during their extended efforts against President Donald Trump, with senior oversight officials indicating that criminal activity may have played a role in what some have characterized as a coordinated conspiracy.
