Tolerance of backward attitudes does not help diversity

WE live in interesting times.

The Australian Prime Minister doesn’t attend the repatriation of Australia’s Vietnam War dead but is happy to host an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan attended by Islamist apologists and at least one hate preacher.

Sheik Shady Al-Suleiman who’s called AIDS a divine punishment for gays also has disturbing views about women, jihad and what he calls the “enemies of Islam.”

How did a man who preaches about women being “hung by their breasts” and stoned to death for adultery score an invitation to dine with the Prime Minister?

Malcolm’s Dinner of Diversity – But No Pork or Chardy On the Menu!

First of all, there was no “diversity” at this event. Turncoat, the Goldman-Sachs boy, invited a bunch of hardcore Mohammedans, and no one else. Second, diversity divides, and only unity can unite us. We can never unite with Mohammedans who seek our demise. We can only stop the spread of Islam and encourage those who are here to depart from our shores asap.

At a Ramadan dinner overnight Malcolm Turnbull praised Islam’s “emphasis on human diversity.”  I suppose that’s one way of looking at it, when you consider the diversity in Islamic teachings.

Islam beheads Christians, Islam commands the genocide of Jews, Islam takes non-Muslim women as sex slaves. If they refuse sex with their captors, punishment includes being burned alive. Islam throws gays off buildings head first. If the homosexual survives, he’s stoned to death.

That’s a pretty diverse section of humans, Malcolm.

But let’s be fair. Let’s not accuse Islam of being some barbaric, stone age cult. Recently they’ve modernised from stoning gays to mass murder by assault weapons, again displaying their agility. Malcolm would be pretty impressed with such adeptness.

In the past Malcolm has made his views on Islam known, telling the ABC’s Q&A in 2011:

“It is important to us that we promote and encourage Islamic traditions which are moderate, which support freedom, which support democracy and which support Australian values….not in the sense of (gruff yobbo voice) ‘AUSSIE’ values, but in the sense of democracy, rule of law, tolerance, freedom. That’s what we’re talking about. These are universal values.”

Rule of law? Sharia?

Tolerance? Death to the unbelievers and gays?

Freedom? Convert to Islam or die?

These ‘universal values’ are all taught and commanded in Islamic texts. These are not extremist views, but taught in mosques.

Someone should remind mad Mal that Mohammedans don’t share ‘universal values’ with the civilised world. As a matter of fact, the Muslims replaced the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with the Cairo Declaration of Human Rights, which puts all rights under the sharia.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull hosts a typical Islamic peacemaker:

An Islamic preacher – who once called AIDS a divine punishment for gays and for God to “prepare us for jihad” – dined with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull at Kirribilli House tonight.

Sheik Shady Al-Suleiman, the national president of the Australian National Imams Council, has said in online videos that females will be “hung by the breasts in hell” and that women should not even look at men.

“So then I said, ‘Let’s invite that jihad-preparing, breast-hanging guy.’ And they did!”

He was among a group of religious leaders and prominent Islamic Australians hosted by the PM at an Iftar dinner to mark the holy month of Ramadan at Kirribilli House.

The Australian-born Sheik Shady has previously called on God to help “destroy the enemies of Islam” and for adulterers to be stoned to death …

Mr Turnbull told the gathering of about 60 people, the first of its kind hosted by a Prime Minister, to unite against extremism.

At which point everybody rose up and threw Sheik Shady out on the street. Note that no alcohol was served at the dinner, presumably due to the mandatory 40-lash penalty. Further on this from Andrew Bolt.

Note: Turnbull does not sit next to any Muslim religious leader at a dinner to mark a religious event. He does not sit next to a Muslim who actually represents – officially – other Muslims in an elected capacity.

He does not sit next to Australia’s Grand Mufti, who said the Islamist slaughter in Paris was the fault of the West.

He does not sit next to former Mufti Sheikh Hilali, who said suicide bombers were “heroes” and praised the September 11 terror attacks as ”God’s work against oppressors”.

He does not sit next to another former Grand Mufti, Sheikh Fehmi, who praises the Hezbollah terrorist group.

He does not sit next to Sheik Wahwah, head of Hizb ut Tahrir in Australia, who threatens Jews with ”an eye for any eye, blood for blood”, claiming that where Jews live ”corruption abounds”.

He does not sit next to Sheikh Omran, emir of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah school of Islamic thought, who once described al Qaeda head Osama bin Laden as “a good man in some ways, and not in other ways” and also said ”I dispute any evil action linked to bin Laden”.

No, he sits next to a white convert who is a university lecturer and wife of a TV star and Logie winner, and to a young female engineer who is a Q&A favorite.

And not a burqa in sight.

This seating arrangement is designed not to present Islam as it really is in Australia but as Turnbull would like us to believe. And it is designed above all to add lustre to Turnbull himself.

The wife of the Orlando nightclub shooter knew of her husband’s deadly plans and did nothing to stop him, a federal law enforcement source confirmed to Fox News.

FBI agents have interviewed Omar Mateen’s wife, Noor Salman, in the days since Sunday’s massacre that killed 49 and wounded 53 more.

Now FoxNews.com has learned from an FBI source that federal prosecutors have convened a grand jury against Salman, seeking to charge her as an accessory to 49 counts of murder and 53 counts of attempted murder as well as with failure to notify law enforcement about the pending terrorist attack and lying to federal agents.

Mateen died in a shootout with police early Sunday morning. While Salman has been widely referred to as Mateen’s wife, the only proof of their marriage is her listing as his wife on a 2013 mortgage document and family members who said the two were married and had a 3-year-old son.

Salman told investigators that Mateen shared his plans with her to carry out an attack and Mateen may have even called her from the gay club Pulse during the slaughter, a source told Fox News. Salman also confirmed details of Mateen’s gun purchases prior to the assault.

A separate source told Fox News that Salman was cooperating with investigators and had shared information about her husband’s violent aspirations. She had taken a polygraph, CBS reported.

Salman is likely to be arrested, a source told Fox News.

Mateen allegedly scouted an alternate location for the shooting — Downtown Disney — in April and again in early June, CBS reported.

New-age feminism gives cover to creeping Islamism sharia:

London’s first ever Muslim Mayor is set to ban images of ‘unrealistic’ scantily clad women from ads on public transport, which could see the city adopt some of the most censorious policies in the Western world.

Sadiq Khan argued for the move by appropriating the language of feminism, claiming that alluring images of beautiful women could make them “ashamed of their bodies”.

Ironically, the policy is likely to please both the misogynistic Islamist and prudish, third wave feminist, whose ends appear increasingly similar.

The announcement comes five years after suspected Islamists began painting over images of bikini clad women in Tower Hamlets in East London, and last year after feminists began similarly defacing images of women in bikinis on London transport.

Images of women are banned in public across large parts of the Muslim world, and the phenomenon is now spreading in the Western world.

Germany’s ‘progressive’ Justice Minister, Heiko Maas, recently promised to ban ads which “reduce women or men to sexual objects” in an attempt to create a “modern gender image” following the mass sex attacks on New Year’s Eve in Cologne, committed by mostly Muslim migrants.

The London Mayor echoed these sentiments. He said in a statement: “As the father of two teenage girls, I am extremely concerned about this kind of advertising which can demean people, particularly women, and make them ashamed of their bodies. It is high time it came to an end.”

Right. Its all about “protecting women”.  When Erdogan promoted the hijab in Turkey, it was all about the “rights of religious women to wear hijab”. Now, 10 years later, the non religious women have lost their right not to wear the hideous shrouds.
