Gas stoves kill 40,000 Europeans each year by pumping pollutants into their lungs, a report has found, a death toll twice as high as that from car crashes.

The cookers spew harmful gases linked to heart and lung disease but experts warn there is little public awareness of their dangers. On average, using a gas stove shaves nearly two years off a person’s life, according to a study of households in the EU and UK.

“The extent of the problem is far worse than we thought,” said lead author Juana María Delgado-Saborit, who runs the environmental health research lab at Jaume I University in Spain.

British Patriot Tommy Robinson Charged With Terrorism as Socialist Regime Ramps Up Free Speech Crackdown

The British patriot and anti-Islam activist Tommy Robinson has been charged with terrorism as the country’s leftist Labour government cracks down on its political opponents.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley Lennon, was detained by Kent Police following orders from the High Court, with an appearance scheduled for Monday at Woolwich Crown Court related to allegations of contempt of court.

According to Kent Police, Robinson faces charges for allegedly refusing to provide his phone’s PIN when officers stopped him at Folkestone border in July. He received bail on this charge and is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 13 November.

The alleged violation under the Terrorism Act does not imply any accusations of directly plotting an attack; it instead concerns police authority to inspect phones at ports for investigative purposes.

‘National Security Threat’: Watchdog Group Calls for U.S. to Ban Pro-Hamas U.N. Palestinian Official

The independent watchdog group U.N. Watch issued a scathing report Tuesday on the antisemitic history, record of support for terrorist organizations, and potential financial impropriety of Francesca Albanese, the United Nations “special rapporteur” for human rights in Palestinian territories.

Breitbart News obtained a copy of the full report, totaling nearly 60 pages, on Tuesday.

Albanese is reportedly traveling to the United States this weekend to address several college campuses and hold meetings at the United Nations headquarters in New York. U.N. Watch urged American officials to “bar Francesca Albanese from entering the United States on account of her propagation of antisemitism and support for Hamas terrorism, which amounts to a national security threat.”

Albanese has since 2022 formally held the position of “Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967.” The position answers to the U.N. Human Rights Council, dominated by authoritarian regimes and serial human rights abusers, and is focused on condemning Israel and its self-defense activities against various jihadist terrorist organizations regularly threatening it.
