Musk exposed the corrupt Brazilian government. Now the people need to take up and continue the fight. Don’t expect Musk to lose billions while you just sit back and enjoy the fruits of his fighting corruption for you. If you don’t fight to take back what you lost you will lose it again out of cowardice.

Sadly many don’t understand this, they just want to sit back and let someone else fight their battles and then blame that person when things don’t improve instantly.

Brazil’s Conservatives Watch Nervously as Elon Musk Caves on X Ban

Prominent Brazilian conservative leaders who stood in defense of X (formerly Twitter) following its ban in Brazil have not issued public statements at press time regarding its recent decision to cave on censorship demands from the Supreme Federal Tribunal (STF).

The STF is Brazil’s top court. STF Minister (justice) Alexandre de Moraes, a self-styled “anti-fake news” crusader, imposed a nationwide ban on X at the end of August after the social media platform refused to comply with censorship orders against its users and appointed a new legal representative in the country.

Brazilian opposition lawmakers — most notably members of the conservative Liberal Party that former President Jair Bolsonaro is part of — condemned the ban on the social media site in Brazil and accused de Moraes of abusing his authority. Some called for his impeachment, a rallying cry that de Moraes has faced for years in response to his persecution of conservative voices in the country.

Leftist lawmakers praised de Moraes for the ban, asserting that the suspension of the platform in Brazil was a result of the “exclusive irresponsibility” of its owner, Elon Musk.

Roughly three weeks after the ban, X announced that it would comply with de Moraes’ censorship court orders. Neither Musk nor X’s Global Government Affairs team has publicly commented on the platform’s decision at press time. The decision is of particular note given that Musk had personally attacked de Moraes, comparing him to Harry Pottervillain Voldemort and demanding he be arrested. Boat Load of Africans Shock Spanish Beachgoers as Invasion of Spain Continues (Video)

On Thursday afternoon, September 19, 2024, the peaceful shores of Nerja were abruptly disturbed when a speedboat carrying some 30 Maghrebian migrants arrived, catching beachgoers off guard. The boat, equipped with three outboard motors, sped toward the coastline before its passengers, mostly Moroccan men including six minors, leaped into the shallow waters just a few meters from the beach.

The scene was chaotic as the migrants, dressed in casual clothing, quickly dispersed, fleeing toward the eastern coastal regions of the province. Spanish authorities, including the Guardia Civil and local police, were immediately dispatched to the area in a bid to locate and intercept the fleeing individuals.

Intercepted and in Custody

According to Spanish media, 33 Moroccan men [soldiers] were intercepted, six of whom were minors. While authorities are still conducting tests to confirm their ages, the men were found to be in good health. After being apprehended near Calaceite Beach in Torrox, some of the migrants had already managed to run more than three kilometers inland.

At the heart of the town, on Calle Chaparil, one of the intercepted migrants spoke briefly to a local reporter. The man, who could communicate in broken Spanish, revealed that they had embarked early that morning from the Moroccan coastal region of Rif. “We are all in good health and happy to be here,” he said, referring to the other young men aboard.

Israeli Prime Minsiter Benjamin Netanyahu issued statements in Hebrew and English on Sunday after the Israeli military pounded the Iranian-backed terror group in southern Lebanon, following several days of stunning strikes.

Netanyahu spoke after Israel had targeted hundreds of Hezbollah rocket launchers and other Hezbollah sites on Saturday and Sunday in Lebanon, and Hezbollah fired scores of rockets at Israel, causing relatively little damage.

He did not specifically refer to the pager attacks that killed dozens of Hezbollah officials and wounded thousands more; or the walkie-talkie explosions that killed at least a dozen and wounded hundreds more; or the precision airstrike that eliminated one of the group’s top commanders, and several other officials with him. But he warned that Hezbollah would “get the message,” if it had not already, that Israel will return its northern residents to their homes.
