Almost 400 million voters will descend on polling stations across the continent for EU elections this week as politicians battle it out for 720 seats in European Parliament. 

The EU elections are the world’s second-biggest exercise in democracy behind the election in India, and after a period of what seems like perma-crisis with the Covid-19 pandemic, surging costs and the war in Ukraine, the stakes seem higher than ever. 

The results will have an impact on issues ranging from global climate policies and defence to migration and geopolitical relations with China and the United States – not to mention the extent to which Europe will continue to support troops in Kyiv as they battle Vladimir Putin‘s forces.

One of the hostages rescued Saturday from captivity in the central Gaza town of Nuseirat, 26-year-old Noa Argamani, was being held at the home of Abdallah Aljamal, another dual loyalty Al Jazeera journalist.

During the Operation, Abdallah and several Members of his Family were Killed while attempting to Prevent the Rescue of Noa.

We now get confirmation from EuroMedHR chairman, that the “Journalist” was in fact a Hamas member aka “Palestinian Ministry of Labor”

The Israeli military rescued four hostages in a special operation in the Nuseirat refugee camp, central Gaza, that Gazan authorities said killed 236 people and injured more than 400 others.

Noa Argamani, Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv, were rescued by the Israeli military, intelligence and special forces from two separate locations in Nuseirat, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Saturday.

All four were kidnapped from the Nova music festival on October 7.

France, Germany & Spain: Mass Influx of Mohammedans Causes Decline of Security

The vast majority of French citizens, including many on the left, believe the growing feeling of insecurity across the country and mass immigration are intrinsically linked, new polling has revealed.

Recent polling showed more women than men believe that France’s open-door immigration policy has led to a greater feeling of insecurity across the country…

According to a poll conducted by CSA for CNews, Europe 1, and JDD, 68 percent of respondents see a correlation between immigration and the rise in delinquency in France.

The link is widely recognized among right-wing voters, with 94 percent of Republican supporters and 93 percent of those aligned with the National Rally acknowledging such a link. However, a significant minority of those who support pro-immigration left-wing parties also share this concern.

A total of 43 percent of Socialist Party supporters, 38 percent of La France Insoumise (LFI) voters, and 34 percent of Green supporters share the view that high immigration is destabilizing France’s security.

The link is also widely accepted by voters of French President Emmanuel Macron’s governing Renaissance party, with 68 percent of his supporters agreeing there is a link.

Germany BANS all pro-Hamas protests and activists by Hamas sympathizers. German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser has implemented a formal ban on any groups that show support for Hamas- including protesters. In a statement she said: “With Hamas, I have today completely banned the activities of a terrorist organization whose aim is to destroy the state of Israel.” The Hamas flag is also completely banned. She announced that she is also dissolving the German branch of the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, which she said “supports and glorifies” groups including Hamas.
