There is “cause for cautious optimism”, say the Free Speech Union as the UK College of Policing moves to all-but-abolish what are called ‘Non Crime Hate Incidents’ (NCHIs), the thought-crime tool that has become notoriously associated with swatting-like disruption of conservatives.

The Free Speech Union has led the charge to abolish Non-Crime Hate Incidents (NCHIs) for over five years. There is cause for cautious optimism. Should the Home Secretary agree to proposals from police chiefs to scrap NCHIs, this would be a HUGE VICTORY for free speech.

Speaking from the capital of Canberra on Monday, Prime Minister Albanese said his cabinet will seek to reach “as broad an agreement as possible” to implement stricter speech restrictions. The planned legislation will seek to counteract the “unprecedented radicalisation” of young people in Australia, he said, according to state broadcaster ABC.

His announcement came in the wake of an apparently ISIS-inspired terrorist shooting at a Hanukkah celebration on Bondi Beach, which saw 15 people shot and killed. The two suspects, father and son Sajid and Naveed Akram, are reported to have received military training in the Philippines and are believed to have had longstanding ties to ISIS-aligned groups.

Despite no reported indications that the Indian migrant and his Australian-born son were radicalised online, the Labor Party government apparently seems intent on further restricting speech in the already censorious country.

Attorney-General Michelle Rowland, who will be tasked with leading the legislative push, said that there will likely be a new criminal offence created for “inciting hatred” as well as a new aggravating offence for adults who attempt to radicalise or otherwise influence children online.

It speaks volumes that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard @TulsiGabbard used her speech at TPUSA’s AmFest to talk about how the biggest threat we face as a nation is Islam.

She is right. It took courage to say what she said. And I hope she will use her position to actually crack down on this threat. The fact that she is saying this as the Director of National Intelligence is a big deal and more people need to understand the threat we face in the homeland because of Islam.

You’ll notice that none of our federal law enforcement agencies are talking about the threat of Islam, the refuse to say the term “Islamic terrorism”, and more and more cabinet members keep turning a blind eye to the threat of Islam as more and more of them take strange trips to Qatar that aren’t a necessary part of their job duties in the administration.

We are becoming the United States of Qatar. @TuckerCarlson and Tulsi Gabbard are friends so I hope she can talk some sense into Tucker who used his speech at AmFest to promote Islam. Recently, Tucker advocated in support of Sharia Law on his show and said Qatar should be our number one ally.

Obviously something very dark and dangerous prompted@DNIGabbard to use her speech to warn Americans about the threat of Islam.

She has access to classified information and likely knows about imminent Islamic terror attacks in the homeland. People better wake up and listen to what she just said before we are all killed. Thank you, Tulsi for saying what needed to be said. Islam is a political ideology and it’s here to endanger our country and our national security. It’s here to destroy Western civilization and “slit the throat of America” as Charlie Kirk tweeted one day before he was shot in the throat by a sniper!
