Norway Cashes In on European Enviromoonbattery

.

Finally, a silver lining has been found for the deranged enviromoonbattery that has crippled the economy of Europe. At least it provides economic opportunities for countries that reject ecoidiocy in favor of reliable and efficient fossil fuels — like Norway.

Via American Greatness:

Despite pressures to decarbonize, Norway has increased efforts to exploit oil and natural gas reserves. …

Targeted will be “frontier areas”—little-explored regions that can reward high risk with massive returns. While the U.K. suffocates its North Sea industry with windfall taxes and regulatory hostility, Norway is effectively saying, “If you won’t drill, we will.”

Black gold won’t just sit there in the ground indefinitely because fools regard it as haram.

As Norway invests in oil and gas, European countries that prefer to invest in green energy pipe dreams are becoming increasingly dependent on it for energy.

Norway does its part to appease moonbat weather gods by making heavy use of politically fashionable electric cars. However,

The gleaming EVs filling the streets of Oslo are subsidized by the government’s oil revenue.

Let’s hope the climate has a sense of humor.

Ursula von der Leyen declares:

We all agree that climate change is real and man-made, and that it is the responsibility of us all to combat it. The threat posed by climate change is existential.

These statements increasingly sound as though they come from a parallel world. While Europe’s real infrastructure is visibly deteriorating, while power grids are becoming unstable, states of emergency are being declared, entire neighbourhoods are paralysed by terrorist attacks, and core functions of the state are failing with growing frequency, the EU leadership remains obsessively fixated on a CO₂ narrative that has long since become more ideology than science. Trump: Iran can’t have a nuclear weapon – not now, not ever

That is his bottom line.

So it seems unlikely he will sign up to any sort of deal that would allow Iran to postpone those nuclear talks for the time being.

He’s also very much aware the blockade is doing significant economic damage to Iran. He thinks it’s putting the Iranians under extreme pressure and, as he said on social media, he’s waiting for Iran to effectively sort out its leadership so they can work out who to speak to.

Two months of near-total internet blackout in Iran

Iran’s near-total internet blackout has now lasted exactly two months, according to global watchdog Netblocks.

  • Israel and Hezbollah continue to trade fire as the death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon since an April 17 “ceasefire” rises to at least 40 people.
  • Dozens of nations have called for the “urgent and unimpeded reopening” of the Strait of Hormuz, with UN chief Antonio Guterres warning that the US-Iran standoff in the waterway risks triggering a global food emergency.

Strait of Hormuz should have ‘never been closed’

Qatar in favour of ‘comprehensive deal’ to end conflict

The spokesperson said that Doha would be in favour of a “comprehensive deal” to end the conflict, following a question about reports that Iran wants to decouple Hormuz talks from nuclear discussions.

“A man charged a security checkpoint armed with multiple weapons, and he was taken down by some very brave members of the Secret Service,” Trump told a news conference at the White House shortly after the incident.

“They seem to think he was a lone wolf, and I feel that too,” he said, after posting video of the suspect sprinting past security as guards drew their weapons.

’Not a Particularly Secure Building ’: POTUS Demands Ballroom

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a shocking display of the Party of Peace and Tolerance’s unwavering commitment to non-violence, a gunman armed with a shotgun attempted to breach security at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Saturday night and open fire on President Donald Trump.

According to sources who spoke on condition of total media silence, the suspect — described only as “a concerned citizen exercising his First Amendment rights” — fired multiple shots near the magnetometer screening area before Secret Service agents heroically tackled him, evacuated Trump and the entire cabinet, and then immediately issued a statement reminding everyone that “this is not who we are.”

Trump, who was rushed from the ballroom unharmed, later posted on Truth Social that the shooter had been apprehended. No one was injured, unless you count the feelings of MSNBC hosts who had to cancel their “Trump Is Literally Hitler” segments for the evening.

“This is a tragic reminder that we must redouble our efforts to ban assault shotguns and common-sense security theater,” said an anonymous DNC strategist who asked to remain unidentified because his job depends on pretending Democrats aren’t the party of stochastic terrorism.

Trump Cancels Witkoff, Kushner Islamabad Trip for Iran Talks

Calls It Waste of Time Because ‘Nobody Knows Who Is in Charge’

President Donald J. Trump delivers remarks at a press conference, March 9, 2026. (Official

President Donald Trump announced Saturday that he has canceled a planned trip by U.S. representatives, including Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and adviser Jared Kushner, to Pakistan for talks with Iranian officials, citing time wasted on traveling and work and describing what he called “infighting” and “confusion” within Iran’s so-called “leadership.”

  • Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has departed Islamabad, Pakistan, after holding high-level meetings and delivering Tehran’s list of demands for ending the war to Pakistani officials.
  • US President Donald Trump later cancelled a planned trip to Pakistan by ‌envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff for peace talks with Iran saying it takes too much time and is too expensive.

The White House will say that they want to hear what the Iranians have to say, and if there is something significant, substantial, and moving towards a deal, then JD Vance and also Marco Rubio will be called over to Islamabad to essentially tie up the deal.

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) said that we have to finish the job with Iran and “Iran may not end until we bankrupt them, just as we did the Soviet Union.”

Algeria: Pope’s message sparks outrage

This pope is a flake.

A Chicago ‘democrat’ is by definition a communist.

Pope decries migrants and refugees being treated ‘worse than house pets’

That is false. When Mohammedans land in EUrope, which is quickly turning into EUrabia, they are given everything their hearts desire, except sex-slaves, which is why there is a rape epidemic in EUrabia now.

Mass weaponised migration has been deliberately manipulated to destroy western civilisation – it will only continue to get worse.

Pope Leo has previously criticised US President Donald Trump’s immigration policies, calling for better treatment of refugees.

Leo, who has previously attacked United States President Donald Trump’s hardline immigration policies, called for better treatment of migrants as he flew back to Rome on Thursday following a four-nation Africa tour.

Algeria: Pope’s message sparks ‘outrage among Christians, many of whom live with the daily threat to their lives’

The last pope, Pope Francis, was no better than Pope Leo, and may have been been worse. Pope Francis earned the sobriquet the Pope of Islam on Jihad Watch, but Pope Leo XIV is giving him stiff competition.

There comes a point when people have had enough of being lied to, played for fools  and deceived by the red-green axis of evil. The article below points out how Muslims have been persecuting Christians, and how the pope is insensitive to that fact. It isn’t Christians who are murdering Muslims for being Muslims.

The pope was already raising eyebrows with his obscene moral equivalence on his recent tour; Jihad Watch covered it HERE.

But now he is sparking outrage, not only among observers in the West, but among the persecuted Christians themselves.

Pope Leo even went so far as to warn about “turning geopolitical rivalry into a civilizational struggle between Christianity and Islam.” Hasn’t that ship sailed long ago with Islam, and for the past 1,400 years of Islamic war against every other religion? Where has Pope Leo been?

Even the Muslim Mirror noted:

His remarks carried significance beyond a conventional appeal for peace, particularly because they came at a moment of escalating confrontation involving the United States, Israel and Iran, where narratives about civilisation, religion and geopolitical loyalty have increasingly shaped public discourse.

Pope Leo, like his predecessor, is on the wrong side of history.

Trump is winning

No Deal

And that’s a good thing.

If Mojtaba Khamenei and his minions, or whoever is now running the Islamic Republic of Iran, actually do at some point make a deal with Trump, it also must be remembered that it won’t be worth the paper it’s printed on.

As The Complete Infidel’s Guide to Iran explains, the Islamic concept of taqiyya, lying to deceive one’s enemies, is a particularly Shi’ite concept, and the Islamic Republic of Iran is a Shi’ite nation.

President Trump said today he has ordered the US Navy to take lethal action against any Iranian vessels attempting to lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran has granted “friendly” countries, including Russia, a fee exemption to transit the Strait of Hormuz, reports the Russian state news agency RIA Novosti.

That kind of stuff doesn’t work with Trump.

Nothing gets in or out:

This is the Persian Gulf! You see the first blockade in the narrow area? That’s the strait of Hormuz. That’s what the terrorist Islamic regime closed to put pressure on president Trump and US to back down. But they still don’t get it that President Trump is a 3 D chess player. He closed the second area which is wider and no ship related to the terrorist Islamic regime is able to leave or enter.

This is absolutely one of the smartest moves in the modern warfare. We give the glory to God for giving President Trump wisdom, knowledge understanding and might. The Islamic regime never thought of this and are caught by surprise. They literally can’t import weapons, missile fuels, they can’t sell oil. This is like holding them by the neck. Plus because of the Islamic regime closed the strait of Hormuz, now everyone is buying expensive oil from the USA. US oil sale jumped to 5.3 million barrels per day. Military masterpiece.

Lebanon truce extended; Trump says ‘clock is ticking’ for Iran to make deal

  • President Trump said he is under no pressure to end his war with Iran, though time is limited for Tehran. “I have all the time in the World, but Iran doesn’t – The clock is ticking!” Trump wrote on social media.
  • A third US aircraft carrier has arrived in the Middle East. The USS George HW Bush joined the USS Gerald R Ford and USS Abraham Lincoln in a massive buildup of naval firepower.
  • Trump gives orders to “shoot and kill” any Iranian boats placing sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz, as the US naval siege of Iran’s ports continues, and officials in Tehran say talks will not resume until the blockade is lifted.

Iran’s top negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, declared late Monday that Tehran will not negotiate with the United States “under the shadow of threats,” warning Tehran is prepared to “reveal new cards on the battlefield” as a ceasefire deadline looms and the fate of renewed talks remains uncertain.

  • Diplomatic efforts to end the US-Israel war on Iran remain uncertain, with Tehran saying it will not negotiate under the “shadow of threats”.
  • US President Donald Trump says the blockade on Iranian ports will remain until Tehran agrees to a deal.
  • Lebanon and Israel will head back to Washington, DC, for another round of talks on Thursday to end hostilities.
  • Israel continues to bombard southern Lebanon, wounding six people in an air attack on the town of Qaaqaaiyet El Jisr and demolishing homes in the town of Khiam in violation of a 10-day ceasefire.
  • Trump says Iran will negotiate with the US or face “problems like they’ve never seen before” amid continued uncertainty over whether Tehran can be persuaded to send a delegation to Pakistan’s Islamabad.
  • He also says Iran’s nuclear sites have been totally obliterated and that “digging it out will be a long and difficult process”.
  • Iran has lodged a complaint with the UN over the US’s seizure of its cargo ship, condemning it as a barbarous act that violates international law.
  • Stock markets in Asia have rebounded on early trading, with investors holding on to hopes that the US and Iran may resume peace talks.
  • Dozens of US veterans and their family members have been arrested after they occupied a congressional building in Washington, DC, in a protest against the war on Iran.

The Strait of Hormuz exists in a state of both openness and closedness until a ship actually attempts the transit.

US Senator Lindsey Graham has summarized the situation succinctly by tweeting “the guy in the suit (Araghchi) is not in charge. It’s the guys with the guns (the IRGC) who are in charge.”

Unfortunately, the US has been negotiating with the guys in the suits.

President Donald Trump said Monday he will not let Democrats pressure him into a deal with Iran that is less than optimal.

  • Iran says it has no plans to send negotiators to Pakistan for a new round of talks after the United States seized an Iranian-flagged cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
  • Still, President Donald Trump says US team, led by Vice President JD Vance, is on its way to Islamabad,
  • Pakistan tightens security in the capital before the possible talks, locking down parts of the city and deploying 20,000 security personnel.
  • In Lebanon, the 10-day ceasefire with Israel holds despite repeated Israeli attacks, as the US says second round of talks between Israel and Lebanon will be held in Washington on Thursday.

But Biden was weak and a global laughing stock. Now, the Trump administration is left to deal with the fallout.
