U.N. in Drive for Centralised Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence

CODE RED: As globalist elites prepare to politically weaponize AI as an instrument of control, a United Nations push toward centralized AI global governance is advancing. President Donald J. Trump and The White House wholly reject the AI power grab, stating: “As the Trump administration has now said many times: We totally reject global governance of AI.”

A U.N. panel on artificial intelligence has been launched to implement global governance of the emerging technology at its sole direction,  the body’s chief António Guterres announced Thursday.

The U.N.’s existing Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and its efforts to direct global environmental policy is envisaged as the model for the new interventionist committee.

AFP reports the U.S. has pushed back against centralised U.N. control of the generative AI field, highlighting the difficulties of reaching consensus over how it should be handled by an unelected and unaccountable body.

Italian Court Orders Govt. to Compensate NGO for Detaining Illegal Migrant Boat

A court in Palermo on Wednesday ordered the Italian government to compensate the German NGO Sea-Watch with 76,000 euro (roughly $89.680) for detaining one of its illegal migrant ships in 2019.

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni described the ruling as a “decision that leaves you speechless.”

In June 2019, a Sea-Watch ship commanded by German captain and former E.U. Parliament member Carola Rackete remained off the coast of the Italian island of Lampedusa with some 40 illegal migrant aboard for several days after Italian authorities denied the ship permission to dock.

Russia is urging that the United States abandon its naval blockade on the communist-run island, stressing that more room must be given for legitimate negotiations.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez on Wednesday that Cuba is “a brotherly nation” – according to Reuters.

The Cuban FM visited Moscow Wednesday. This as blackouts and severe fuel shortages have only been compounded by the US oil emargo.

“Together with most members of the international community, we call on the United States to show common sense and responsibility and refrain from plans for a naval blockade of the Island of Freedom,” said Lavrov.

“We categorically reject the unfounded accusations against Russia and Cuba and our cooperation, which allegedly pose a threat to the interests of the United States or anyone else.”

Compliance is rewarded. Resistance is punished.

What comes next is not coexistence. It’s control. It’s submission.
