  • Israeli forces have carried out attacks on two hospitals in northern Gaza, including a strike on the upper floor of al-Wafaa Hospital in Gaza City, which killed at least seven people and critically wounded others.
  • Nine Palestinians have been killed in Israeli shelling of the Nuseirat refugee camp.
  • Seven people were killed when Israeli forces attacked a home in Beit Hanoon.
  • Our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic are reporting that there have been renewed clashes between Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces and Palestinian fighters in the Jenin camp in the north of the occupied West Bank.
  • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu underwent successful surgery on Sunday to have his prostate removed, officials at Jerusalem’s Hadassah Medical Centre said.
  • Concerns are rising about the safety of the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya, Hussam Abu Safia, 51, who was arrested by Israeli forces during a raid on Friday. It is not known where he was taken.
  • The Israeli military says it “located and eliminated” 14 fighters in operations in Jabalia and Beit Lahiya.

This story of the IDF burning a hospital is all over the news, usually with the proviso “according to Gaza’s health ministry.” Countries are condemning Israel for burning the hospital. Officials and doctors are saying they saw it.
And yet in all the coverage, I cannot find a single photo or video of this burning!
It becomes clearer when you realize that the director of Kamal Adwan is a colonel in Hamas. It was built as a military hospital.

Yes, Israel raided the hospital looking for terrorists. Yes, they also had some activity outside the hospital. But there is zero evidence – zero – of any burning of the wards as described by the “witnesses.” Everyone has a cell phone with a camera, yet no one managed to capture the fires or the burned out rooms.
The same media needs verification of everything the IDF says, but none from Hamas. Which means that, objectively speaking, they trust terrorists more than Jews.
  • Israeli forces killed at least 36 Palestinians in attacks across Gaza on Saturday, according to the Wafa news agency, most of them in besieged northern areas of the enclave.
  • The World Health Organization (WHO) expressed deep concern over the fate of patients and medical staff detained by the Israeli military during its raid on the Kamal Adwan Hospital, including its director, Dr Hussam Abu Safia.

Perhaps most revealing of Europe’s regulatory hubris is the Qatari Energy Minister’s recent statement that “I am not bluffing”. He warned that Qatar, one of the world’s largest natural gas suppliers, would cease gas exports to the EU if the bloc’s countries imposed penalties under recently adopted legislation on “sustainability due diligence”. For Europe to tell the world that it would punish foreign countries that did not buy into their “sustainability” beliefs might seem to most non-European observers as the height of arrogance. Eva Marie Kogel, head of the opinion department of the German newspaper Die Welt, wrote a letter of resignation after the publication published an interview with American billionaire Elon Musk.

Kogel noted that she had always enjoyed heading the opinion department at the publication.

“An article by Elon Musk appeared in Welt am Sonntag today. Yesterday, I submitted my resignation after the material went to print,” Kogel wrote on her account on the social network X.

In the article, which was published in the publication, the American entrepreneur criticized the economic and cultural policy of Germany. In addition, Musk once again expressed support for the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. The UN this morning condemned Israel for responding to the repeated attacks by the Houthis against Israel. The UN has yet to condemn the Houthis firing over 220 ballistic missiles and drones at Israel for the past 14 months. The UN is a worthless organization.

$12.6 million for a THAAD. $2,000 for a Houthi missile. Now add this: Lockheed Martin produces around 50-60 THAADs a year, while Iran is scaling up its missile factories to pump out thousands of ballistic missiles annually. The Houthis, with limited resources, are still assembling missiles faster than DC and Tel Aviv can shoot them down. Here’s the dagger: The Empire spends $12.6 million per shot, while its adversaries barely crack $2,000. For every billion-dollar missile defense system deployed, the Houthis and Iran flood the battlefield with bargain-basement missiles. This isn’t just bad math; it’s a war economy designed to collapse under its own weight. Outspent, outproduced, and outmanoeuvred.
