Trump hints at ‘winding down’ Iran war as US deploys more troops to region
Mixed messages from the US president come amid an escalating war.
Israel’s military says it killed four armed Hezbollah fighters during coordinated air and ground operations in southern Lebanon overnight.
Starmer, Lammy and other UK ministers are repeatedly saying “the US should set out their war aims”.
But Trump’s war aims are very clear.
US-Israel attack Iran’s Natanz nuclear site as Diego Garcia base targeted
UK officials have not given details of the attempted strikes that were unsuccessful. It’s unclear how close the missiles came to the base, 4,000km (2,500 miles) from Iran in the Indian Ocean.

Anti-DEI commentators have tried to create the impression that female agents were not only too short but somehow less prepared and responsive than their male counterparts. Evoking traditional gender roles, some mocked the women as belonging in the kitchen.
Female Secret Service Agent Who Didn’t Secure Roof of AGR Building at Butler Rally on Day of Trump Assassination Attempt Suspended AGAIN – Hid Marriage to Foreign National
Why are there even ANY women agents “protecting” the POTUS, let alone an overweight lesbian DEI hire? I guess we all know why this unqualified rookie agent was put in charge of the Butler detail: the Swamp wanted Trump assassinated.
Myosoty “Miyo” Perez was one of the agents who failed to secure Trump’s July 2024 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
President Trump banned Perez from getting anywhere near him.
Perez was one of the female agents seen fumbling with her firearm and struggling to holster her gun following the assassination attempt.
The agency is investigating whether Perez’s partner was actually in the US illegally and overstayed her visa.
This is the third time that Perez has been suspended in the last year-and-a-half.
“Despite the ongoing congressional investigations and internal Secret Service review of her role in the Butler failures, Perez quietly married a Brazilian foreign national last April without notifying the agency, according to a copy of her marriage certificate located on the Brevard County public records website and according to sources familiar with the timing of when she informed the agency of her marriage. Upon learning of the marriage, the agency suspended her and issued an internal “Do Not Admit” notice,” RealClear Politics reported.
U.S. and Israeli leaders maintain weeks of strikes have decimated Iran’s military.
Airstrikes have also eliminated its supreme leader, the head of its Supreme National Security Council and a host of other top-ranking military and political leaders, as Breitbart News reported.
Regime thugs are getting desperate:
Recreational and tourist sites worldwide will now be a target for Iran’s aggression and what remains of the Islamic state’s leadership further added Friday it is still building missiles.
Even so, Tehran’s arrogant defiance knows no bounds.
“We are producing missiles even during war conditions, which is amazing, and there is no particular problem in stockpiling,” spokesman Gen. Ali Mohammad Naeini was quoted as saying in Iran’s state-run IRAN newspaper.
Naeini added Iran had no intention of seeking a quick end to the war. “These people expect the war to continue until the enemy is completely exhausted,” he said.
A short time after the statement was released, Iranian state television said Naeini was killed in an airstrike.
Iran Considers Tolls and Taxes on Shipping Through Strait of Hormuz
The US navy will collect them as payment for the war effort.
On one of the holiest days on the Islamic calendar, Iran fired on Israel and energy sites in neighboring Gulf Arab states, insisting that it can still build missiles and issuing a new threat, to deny safety to its enemies in “parks, recreational areas and tourist destinations” worldwide. Israel meanwhile pounded Tehran with airstrikes as Iranians marked Nowruz, the Persian New Year.
Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei ostensibly released a defiant written statement on Wednesday, vowing to retaliate for the death of security chief Ali Larijani.

And Cuba no longer runs Venezuela
While speaking about the impact of the U.S. operation in Venezuela earlier this year, I recounted a conversation that I had with Argentine President @JMilei during the 30th anniversary of the AMIA bombing.

Why Europe Is Heading Toward Civilizational Suicide
Israeli air strikes have killed two people and wounded another in a dawn raid on a home in Bafliyeh, near Tyre, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported.
Warplanes also struck Bint Jbeil, al-Tayri and Kfar Tebnit, hitting the latter twice within the last hour.
Another one bites the dust.

We do not recognize the legitimacy of this government,” the president asserted on Wednesday. “We have to clean the hemisphere of communists. Simple as that.”—President of Costa Rica Rodrigo Chaves Robles
President of Costa Rica Rodrigo Chaves Robles announced on Wednesday that his country would cut all diplomatic ties to Cuba, shutting down its embassy in Havana and ordering all Cuban diplomats out of the country.
Chaves Robles, whose term is slated to end in May, explicitly stated that his opposition to socialism and communism – and an escalation in human rights abuses by the Cuban Communist Party at home – were the reason for his decision.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday the war with Iran could pave the way for new oil and gas routes across the Arabian Peninsula to Israel’s Mediterranean ports, allowing global energy flows to bypass Iranian threats in the Strait of Hormuz and other vulnerable maritime chokepoints.

The balance of power in the Strait of Hormuz is shifting dramatically. Iran, which once believed it controlled this vital waterway with its fast boats, now faces a shocking reality.

Not one word from the left.or from pathetic college campuses or from Hollywood’s loudest voices on Oscar night all puffed up like peacocks, flaunting ignorance and Jew-hatred as if it were something to admire.
The left, much like the Iranian regime, must be crushed.

Iran’s IRGC published a target list tonight before they fired a single shot. Named facilities across three sovereign nations. Told citizens to evacuate. Then launched.
In Qatar, five ballistic missiles were fired at Ras Laffan Industrial City — the world’s largest LNG export terminal. Four were intercepted. One got through. Extensive damage. Fires. No casualties, but production had already been halted.
In Saudi Arabia, air defenses intercepted four ballistic missiles fired toward Riyadh and two more aimed at the country’s eastern region.
Alerts went out across the governorates of Riyadh and Al-Kharj. Explosions were heard near a high-level meeting of Arab and Islamic foreign ministers gathered specifically to find an off-ramp from this conflict. Iran fired missiles at the diplomats trying to stop the war.
In the UAE, air defenses engaged 13 ballistic missiles and 27 drones launched from Iran. Thirteen missiles. Twenty-seven drones. In a single night. Debris from successful intercepts fell near the Habshan gas facility and operations were suspended.
The GCC Secretary-General called it a grave aggression and a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms. Oil hit $110 a barrel. Global LNG prices, already up nearly 50% since the war began, surged further.
Iran framed this as retaliation for Israeli strikes on South Pars. But South Pars is a gas field. Ras Laffan, Riyadh, and Habshan are in countries that have spent three weeks trying to stay out of this war.
Qatar has been begging for de-escalation. The UAE has stayed neutral. Saudi Arabia hosted the peace talks.
Iran’s answer to diplomacy was a ballistic missile barrage aimed at the people hosting the diplomats.
