Australian history or Islamic history?
The Age presented us with ”Faces of Islam”, hosted by its Muslim business reporter, Nabila Ahmed, earlier this month. Winds of Jihad cartoonist Shem gives us an artists impressions of what it looked like (in the minds of Muslims) then and there:
Nabila is “angry”, of course, and wants to present the facts about Muslims in Australia:
Muslim history in Australia dates back to 1650. That’s more than 100 years before the First Fleet.
Still, this is a more modest take on our history than that of the Mufti of Australia, Sheik Taj el-Din el-Hilali, who famously declared:
The Europeans issued a false birth certificate for it when the British seafarer Captain James Cook reached it. However, Australia already had the most ancient race of men on the face of the earth – the Aborigine people… They continue to live their primitive lives to this very day.
But when you become acquainted with their traditions among their tribes, you find that they have customs such as circumcision, marriage ceremonies, respect for tribal elders, and burial of the dead – all customs that show that they were connected to ancient Islamic culture before the Europeans set foot in Australia.
That is, Islam had roots deep in the Australian soil and read the Qur’an and called to prayer before the bells of the churches rang in Australia. The best evidence of this is the hundreds of mosques in the center of Australia built by the Afghans.
If Muslims say it, it must be true.
But in case you have any doubts: Sheik Yer’mami saddled his camel and went out into the outer outback to look for proof:

This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening.
We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way...
But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it. If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted.
Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth,
(we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it!
One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for
trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display.
But you won't be back, trust me on that.
Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

Obviously, Mo managed to get to Australia in his day via the same method he reached Jerusalem-mental derangement. That being the case, Australia, like Jerusalem, must be made part of the ummah.

They have no shame in making up any story to suit their agenda.
What annoys me is this:
They lay claim to a place because they got their first or because they conquered it.
But Jews, and then Christians were in the Holy Land before them, and that doesn’t count.
Then they were defeated by Israel form 1948 onwards but that doesn’t count either.
Comparing muslims with westerners is a big mistake. They must have different brain cells!
Yup! Islam arrived during the dreamtime. Unfortunately for them, the Aborigines awoke from the dream time screaming and went back to sleep so it did not take.
These greasy musulmen are all THIEVES. They will not only steal your pessesions, your women, your country, they will even steal your HISTORY.

Of course Islam was in Australia centuries prior to the arrival of Europeans.
This is verifiable by the large numbers of Muslim didgeridoo players in the M.I.
The legends of the first native Australians be it as part of what they call “dreamtime”-A place Islamic philosophy has frequented often and is well informed of its metaphoric values and meanings.Time will deduce that what is of interest most here is not the subjects tendancy to be reminiscent of islams own realm of the non-sensory but the cousinhood of the two elements due to the unclearness of chronology in light of the overwhelming bridges that history burnt.

Australia is not a muslim country now and hopefully will NEVER be. I am so sick of Muslims who think that anyone who does not have the same religion and archaic beliefs as them are “infidels”. Whatever country they go to they just cause problems. Why dont you go and live somewhere else if you have problems with the way we live here? I think you’re hypocrits. You live here and yet you dont agree with how we live. You find the way we live offensive. Well leave then! Also you should look at the history of Australians at war. We will fight to the death to defend Australia and our way of life. I hope i havent offended anyone by including my opinion. After all i am just a woman and in Islam we arent supposed to have an opinion are we?

you wrote about “we” and “you” and “our way of life”. May be an Aborigine would see things a little bit different? Who is “we”? The majority? And you speak about “Islam” as this was a monolith form. There are more than one million people… and “in Islam we arent supposed to have an opinion are we?” I cannot speak for “us”, but there are many many women having different opinions and being muslims. If you are interested you could find some in URI – United Religions Initiative – and end of this year in Melbourne (Parliament of Religions) and to know more about “we” and “they” you could find “Toledo” of Aviva Doron in the Internet.
