UK to import 5,000 Pakistani butchers
Is this really the time to be talking about bringing large numbers of Pakistani butchers into the West?

LONDON – Over 5,000 butchers from Pakistan would get employment in the halal meat industry of UK through Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between National Halal Foods Group (NHFG) of UK and Overseas Employment Cooperation of Pakistan. The MoU has been signed here at the Pakistan High Commission, London Friday.

Just returned from a week in London and let me tell you every other store front had arabic signage and was “halal this, halal that”. Seems to me there are plenty of them in London already..

I have said in the past that the insistence on halal is nothing more than a means of bringing wealth and employment to other muslims, here is the proof. Halal meat is about 30% mere expensive than regular,
a condition of halal is that it has to be slaughtered by a muslim.
They should not be allowed to stay in the UK, we need a system like the Saudis have, kept in compounds and exported at the end of the contract. The cost added to the price of the Halal meat.
A while back, the halal market closest to my house closed up shop. I have no idea as to why. Certainly there are enough Moslems in the D.C. area to have kept the shop operating. Perhaps the landlord closed them down for some kind of violation of the lease.
Fallci warned that when we see halal markets popping up all over the place, we need to know that the Wahhabists aren’t far away. Doesn’t the UK understand this fact? Does the rest of the West?

In my country… which is very poor and very far away… Butchery is a fine art, and you just can’t go around expecting the Jihadeen to eat stuff that hasn’t been butchered according to the will of the Grand Ol’ Ummah. (GOU)… you know… all that Sunnah stuff.

Why is Britain allowing sacrificial meat into our country? Why does the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals not put a stop to this? It is cruel and barbaric and if certain immigrants want to live in the terrible times of the bibles old testament then they should become vegetarian. The great shame of the leaders of Great Britain was when they forced us to eat halal meat. The hind quarters of the poor animal who died a horrible death are sold to non muslims as they do not eat that part as they believe it is unclean.
The reason this happens is that you have a gutless labour government filled with whimps who cannot stand up for the people of england. Incidentally, it may become dangerous to vioce your opinion openly on these sites if the EU has its way.

This weekend I came across a webpage on the UW-Minnesota Extension (tax funded) site that reminded newly arrived Somalis that the Koran commanded they eat only halal meat. The site then said that they should only buy meat from halal shops. (I agree with Ciccio above, halal is and always has been economics). I sent one email to the extension’s director saying I doubted producers and retailers would appreciate their tax money being used for that purpose and today the director reacted and the page was removed. The fact is that some Somalis, not many I would guess but some want nothing to do with Islam. Some have seen the killing of Christians and no longer want anything to do with Mohammad’s ridiculous ideolgy.
It means 5000 muslime, 5000 butchers also , 5000 pakistanis.

Nearly 12 months on………how did this story pan out?
@Dhumme Dhimmi – there hasn’t been any news on it, so most likely it went ahead on the quiet, just as most immigration to this country has. The contempt the political classes have shown for the British over the last 40-50 years is astonishing, and anyone who has objected to mass stealth invasion has simply been swept aside and more often than not had their entire reputatation and career torn to shreds. Just goes to show what happens when extreme left-wing marxists manage to gain power, if you don’t agree with them then you must be some sort of “right-wing nutter”, or worse a criminal. Which is the way we’ll end up, disagree with immigration, right off with his head!!
