A Muslim butcher who could be stripped of his French passport over allegations of polygamy hit back on Monday, insisting that he had not broken the law.Lies Hebbadj, an Algerian-born 35-year-old, has been at the centre of a political storm since last week when his wife complained that she had been fined for driving while wearing her “niqab” full-face veil….
Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux suggested the man could lose his French passport, saying he was believed to have four wives who had borne him 12 children and that each was receiving welfare benefits.
But Hebbadj called a news conference on Monday to contend that, while he has several mistresses, he had not engaged in polygamy, which is illegal in France.
“As far as I know, it is not forbidden to have mistresses in France, nor is it forbidden under Islam,” said Hebbadj, who runs a halal butcher shop in the western city of Nantes.
“Maybe under the Christian faith, but not in France,” he added.
“If you lose your French nationality for having mistresses, then a lot of French men would have been stripped of their citizenship.”
Immigration Minister Eric Besson is investigating whether Hebbadj should lose his French citizenship, which he acquired after marrying a French woman in 1999.

Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way...
But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it. If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted.
Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth,
(we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it!
One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for
trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display.

Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

There should still be an investigation into the financial dealings: Is he claiming tax-relief for children while not paying support?
Are the wives/mistresses claiming soc.sec although they are living with him?
Is the state (other tax payers) supporting his children?
Is he living in one of the houses paid for by the tax payers for his ‘single’ parent wives?
Plus: Did any one check whether the photo on her driver’s license matches her face?
This Ninja Turtle stuff is okay in Arab countries, but, when these buffoons beg to live in western countries, their customs and all other bullshit must be left behind. Failure to do so must result in expulsion back to their native shores. Muslims do not have mistresses. Their women folk are either wives or whores. Kick this bloody butcher out.
Accept the fact that she is his mistress. By wearing a hijab she is identifying herself as a devout Muslim. By being his mistress she is admitting under Islamic law that she is engaged in fornication, the penalty for which is stoning. In this case make an exeption and allow sharia law.
