Do-gooders cause more problems than solve them
(Australia) Dandenong City Council has really set the cat amongst the pigeons by unveiling an edict that during Ramadan next year, people who wish to swim will have to cover up so as not to offend any Muslims who may just happen to be swimming.
Yup, so concerned are the people behind this fantastic way in which to bring different communities together, they forgot to ask any Muslims in the first place, and the outrage caused by this so called brilliant idea has divided Muslims and non-Muslims even further.
The thing is, Muslims tend not to swim during Ramadan, as doing so may lead to Allah’s little floaters to swallowing some water and thus breaking their fast. Which is how one UK council sees swimming for Muslims during Ramadan. Problem for Stoke council was they insisted that swimming be banned for everybody (Muslims and non-Muslims alike) during Ramadan.
See? Yet again do-gooders causing yet more problems. (Thanks to eye on the world)

In the wake of the battle over a mosque at Ground Zero, a move by the Hartford City Council is sure to have its critics.
The Council announced Tuesday that it has invited local imams to perform Islamic invocations at the beginning of the Council meetings in September.
Council President rJo Winch called it an important move for the Council. Winch is, you guessed it, an ardent Obama supporter. Obviously, he pays her mortgage and puts gas in her car…..

If the Herald Sun comments are any guide, there is mounting opposition to imposition of ‘muslim sensitivities” on the rest of us. “Backlash”, even.
muslims and their enablers may be in for a rough time.
Dandenong, Victoria, Australia is a Muslim enclave. Thomas St Dandenong looks like Kabul, Afghanistan, Lonsdale St Dandenong looks like an Arabic market with all of its Halal shops and Cleeland St up the road is like an African Islamic suburb.
If anything the trouble in Victoria won’t be from the Broadmeadows/Coburg area which is full of Muslims but Dandenong in years to come.
