Wearing their finest freedom sacks, the babes of Hizb ut-Tahrir are loud, proud and under a shroud:
Islamic values are superior to ‘’flawed’’ Western secular values and non-Muslims are in no position to lecture Muslims about the oppression of women, a speaker said yesterday at a Sydney rally against proposals to ban the burqa.
‘’Despite the intense negative propaganda against Islam and in particular the lies about its treatment of women, the number of Western women embracing Islam continues to rise at a rapid rate,’’ said Fautmeh Ardati, a member of the Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir.
If infidel laws cannot shake off the hijab then what will Australia’s dummy-gov’t do to restore law & order?
‘’By turning their backs on this flawed way of life, it is testament of the superiority of Islamic values over Western values.’’
That line about “turning their backs” might have been a little misplaced:
There were about 2000 people at the rally, with men and women segregated by a row of plastic markers. Male speakers spoke to the crowd from a podium at the front. The two female speakers spoke from the women’s section, meaning most of the men had their backs turned to them.
Leading Hizbie chick Fautmeh Ardati defended her multi-layer fabric liberation enclosure:
Women had two options, she said. ‘’The Western secular way of life, which robs a woman of her dignity, honour and respect, where she is considered little more than a commodity to be bought and sold, or the option of Islam, where a woman’s dignity, respect and honour are priceless.’’
That’s not a very nice thing to say about Western women, nor about face-exposer Robina Jalali, currently running for election in Afghanistan. Sheikh Shady – the real Sheikh Shady, I assume – also attended yesterday’s rally:
Sheikh Shady al-Suleiman said Muslims loved Australia but rejected interference in the practice of their religion. ‘’Keep away from our affairs,’’ he said. (or else?)
When your religion is in the main street, strolling about in Mohammed’s Snuggie and viewing the world through a mail slot, it’s not just your affair, mate. More from Ardati:
‘’We dress like this because it is the command of Allah, not any man.’’
The last paragraph includes this line: “One woman wearing a burqa said she would have to ask her husband before speaking to the Herald.” Further from Andrew McCarthy:
Islamist ideologues are ascendant because they are moving what they are proud to call their “civilizational jihad” against the West from the battlefield, where they know they cannot win, to our institutions, where the scales tip in the Islamists’ favor. He’s right. It’s a cultural deal, not a legal one.

Actually it is Australian to protest against the disgusting all encompassing ideology that turns people into morons and is called islam.

I may be naive, but surely a refusal to obey ‘man-made’ law is a criminal offence?
Have these people been informed that they have no choice but to obey?
Or are they secure in the islamaphobia (fear of islamic reprisal) of the government?
[Petition against Sharia law in Australia] took about 1/2 hour to send a confirmation email, but it did arrive…
A petition against Sharia Law will not be of much use if we continue to allow Muslim immigration. Would such a petition have helped the European countries that will have a majority Muslim population in 20 years or less? We are heading down the same path – what we need is a petition against Muslim immigration.

The sad reality of Islam is that these shrouded women are doing all this so that when they go to ‘heaven’, they can serve in a harem of about 50 women and perform as sexual toys to some pervert who blew himself up in order to get there…

Let’s be honest folks… islam has no decency whatsoever.!..It has the gall to turn heaven into a bordello…while here on earth they cover themselves like turtles!!…where is the logic!!?? heh?
Sadly, they have also shrouded that organ which is responsible for thinking things through…well, they certainly wont need it in the heavenly bordello…So, who respects women again?

The French burqa ban is not much but it is a beginning.
This ban places Muslims in a quandary. If they take it lying down, it will be seen as a defeat by Muslims, as well as an encouragement to the French to bring other laws that oppose other barbaric Muslim parctices – like the barbaric halal slaughter.
If OTH Muslims oppose the burqa ban, it will give French authorities reason to start imposing the ban with force. This again puts Muslims in the same quandary – to oppose or not to oppose.
They look so happy and empowered, don’t they? Misery loves company.
