 * This is hardly news.  Mein Kampf and Adolph Hitler (‘because he killed the Joozzz’) were already very popular way back in the sixties and seventies, when this writer traveled around Turkey.

Mein Kampf, the book Hitler wrote in prison before he rose to power in 1933, has become a bestseller in Turkey, provoking consternation.
The dreams of creating a master race are being snapped up by young Turks. Its publishers believe that more than 100,000 copies have been sold in the past two months.

Its sudden appeal has alarmed Turkey’s Jewish community and is causing concern in the EU. A German diplomat said its success “might not give the right signals” to Europeans in advance of Turkey’s opening accession talks in October.

“Obviously we’re very concerned,” Ivo Molinas, one of Turkey’s 25,000 Jews, said in Istanbul. “This is a democratic country and the book can’t be banned, but it would be good if the Turkish government openly said they don’t like it being sold. Unfortunately, there has been no such approach.”
Although Jews have been assured by booksellers and the publishers that their motives are “purely commercial and not ideological”, Jewish officials say the book’s popularity has coincided with a wave of anti-semitic articles in the press.

Mr Molinas, a columnist in the weekly Shalom, said: “There has been a big increase in articles attacking us in the fundamentalist and nationalist press, because of what is happening in the Middle East, the Israeli-Palestinian problem and the war in Iraq.

“That has affected readers, and I think boosted sales of Mein Kampf.” Analysts believe the book’s popularity is related to a rise in nationalism and anti-US sentiment since the invasion of Iraq. A survey last month by the Metropoll Strategic and Social Studies Centre showed that half Turkey’s 70 million people were convinced the country was surrounded by enemies.

Many Turks fear that joining the EU will expose their country to permissiveness and force them to give up treasured traditions.

An Israeli airstrike took out another car full of Palestinian terrorists in Gaza, including one affiliated with “moderate” Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas.

GAZA (Reuters) – Israel killed six Palistanians in a series of air strikes in Gaza on Saturday, including three senior Islamic Jihad militants and a rocket manufacturer for a wing of Western-backed President Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah group.

CNN says earlier reports that the burned Glasgow terrorist died of his injuries are incorrect; he’s alive but in critical condition.

LONDON, England (CNN) — The United Kingdom raised its terrorism threat level to critical, the highest level possible, Saturday after a vehicle plowed into the terminal building at Scotland’s busiest airport and burst into flames. Authorities at the highest levels are assuming the fiery incident in Glasgow is directly linked to the discovery Friday of two explosives-laden cars in London.

One of two men who drove the car into the terminal’s main entrance was in critical condition at a hospital. It was erroneously reported earlier that he had died.

Police and witnesses in Glasgow described an SUV-style vehicle in flames being driven at full speed toward the building. Witness Jackie Kennedy told the BBC that a man got out of the car, went to the back and pulled out a can of fuel, which he poured on himself and ignited.

“The guy was in flames and seemed to be enjoying himself,” Kennedy said. …

Jim Manson said he saw a car “with a couple of guys in it trying to push their way into the airport terminal building.”

The vehicle “suddenly caught fire” as one of the two — himself on fire — tried to open up the back of the car, Manson told British television. There was then a small explosion, and the front of the terminal appeared to catch fire.

“Everyone just ran,” Manson said. “We’re absolutely terrified, you can imagine. The first thing on all our minds was: Is there an accident? Is there a terrorist attack?”

The Islamic bomber was screaming ALLAH ALLAH when being apprehended and still no mention of Islam from the jihad loving media. Only warnings from British pundits and government officials not to ties this to any religion. Ugh.

This appears to be a wave of Islamic terror attacks, they are unsure if it’s over. They call it “continuing.”

LONDON (AFP) – London’s ratbag Mayor ‘Red’ Ken Livingstone called on Britons Saturday not to demonize Muslims after a double car bomb plot was foiled in the capital, amid fears of a Islamist terror threat.

He is afforded virtually no political credibility; in fact no none listens to him at all as long as the buses and tubes run on time. When I was still a member of what is probably best termed the British Jihadi Network, a series of semi-autonomous British Muslim terrorist groups linked by a single ideology, I remember how we used to laugh in celebration whenever people on TV proclaimed that the sole cause for Islamic acts of terror like 9/11, the Madrid bombings and 7/7 was Western foreign policy.
By blaming the government for our actions, those who pushed the ‘Blair’s bombs’ line did our propaganda work for us. More important, they also helped to draw away any critical examination from the real engine of our violence: Islamic theology.

Read it all, this is quite good coming from a muslim…

Don’t bother! Some of them may be ‘Asians’ but the terrorists are all Muhammedans, Muhammad worshippers, slaves of Allah.
