Massive Nationwide Protests Shake Spain as Ceuta Migrant Invasion Divides Country

Hundreds of thousands of Spaniards gathered in the streets of Spain’s major cities Wednesday evening to peacefully protest against the Socialist government of Pedro Sánchez and in support of embattled Ceuta locals amid the unresolved migrant invasion of the city.

Two days ago, far-left Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez had dismissed any responsibility on the part of Moroccan authorities for the influx of migrants into Ceuta, notably blaming Israel in their place.
Today, a police intelligence report from Spain contradicts him by stating that Moroccan officers and members of the security forces actively accompanied and guided the massive arrival of more than 70,000 migrants in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta.
In addition to his hatred and pathological obsession with Israel, Pedro Sánchez is truly a clown. With the caveat that he makes no one laugh.

US-Iran war escalates after spate of deadly tit-for-tat strikes

  • Concerns rise again throughout the Middle East after the US military launched a series of deadly attacks on Iran and it retaliated with drone-and-missile strikes against Gulf nations and Jordan.
  • Iran’s Revolutionary Guard says four soldiers died in a US attack on Kermanshah province while at least five civilians were also killed during a wedding ceremony in southern Sirik.
  • US President Donald Trump says he “couldn’t care less” if Iran returns to negotiations to end the six-month war, vowing it “will be hit again at a much harder and higher level“.
  • Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei says Iran’s armed forces have “unforgettable lessons” in store for the United States in his first message since fighting resumed after a month of relative calm.

The US’s CENTCOM said it struck dozens of military targets along Iran’s southern coast on Tuesday.

Trump said Iran will be “totally wiped out” if it retaliates.

Iran responded by firing ballistic missiles towards Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait and Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdish region. Tehran has accused the US of hitting a wedding party, killing at least four people.

Contradicting Sánchez Government

The report was submitted to Judge María Tardón, who is currently investigating how an estimated 80,000 illegals from Morocco were able to storm the Spanish border and enter the exclave city of Ceuta between July 30 and 31. The rolling crisis has continued, with upwards of 9,000 remaining in the city with a population of just 83,000.

Contrary to the myriad of potential masterminds put forward by the leftist government in Madrid, the Spanish National Police accused the Muslim Moroccan government of orchestrating the invasion, which the report claims was an operation to undermine Spanish sovereignty over the North African territory, El Mundo reports.

The police dossier claimed to have evidence from the National Centre for Immigration and Borders (CENIF) that uniformed Moroccan gendarmes were on the ground at Castillejos, a town across the border from Ceuta, on the day of the invasion, directing the flow of migrants towards the fence which separates the two countries.
