President Trump slammed Harvard in a late-night message just after midnight on Sunday, questioning why over 30% of its student body is international students from countries that pay nothing while the United States pays billions to educate the world. 

“Nobody told us that!” the President said. “We want to know who those foreign students are, a reasonable request since we give Harvard BILLIONS OF DOLLARS, but Harvard isn’t exactly forthcoming.”

He continued, “We want those names and countries. Harvard has $52,000,000, use it, and stop asking for the Federal Government to continue GRANTING money to you!”

This comes after the Trump Administration froze more than $2.7 billion in multi-year research grants and $60 million in contracts for the school last month. This also comes amid a crackdown on Harvard’s use of student visas.

Geert Wilders Vows to Collapse Dutch Gov’t if Border Remains Open to ‘Asylum Seekers’

Party for Freedom (PVV) leader Geert Wilders has vowed to withdraw from the Dutch coalition government if his partner parties fail to implement strict migration controls within the next “few weeks”.

Wilders, who leads the largest faction in the Hague, said that his populist party’s “patience has run out” on the issue of migration, asylum seeking, and deportations in a press conference on Monday.

The veteran populist politician became the effective kingmaker after his Party for Freedom won a stunning victory in late 2023 and later entered into a coalition with the Farmer–Citizen Movement (BBB) party, the New Social Contract (NCC), and the People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) last year.

“We have not signed for a cabinet where only asylum seeker centres will be added,” Wilders said, according to broadcaster NOS. “The PVV has been very reasonable and patient over the past year, but as of today, the gloves are going off.”

The PVV leader issued a list of policy demands, which he said coalition partners must agree upon within “a few weeks.” Otherwise, he will withdraw and collapse the government, likely sparking fresh elections.

President Donald Trump declared that the days of “absurd ideological experiments” and military drag shows are over during his West Point commencement speech on Saturday.

Trump also blasted former administrations for “abusing soldiers with absurd ideological experiments” and “nation-building crusades.”

“For at least two decades, political leaders from both parties have dragged our military into missions it was never — meant to be,” Trump said. “People would say, why are we doing this? Why are we wasting our time, money, and souls in some case?”

Trump lamented that previous presidents had subjected the Armed Forces to “social projects and political causes.”

“They subjected the Armed Forces to all manner of social projects and political causes while leaving our borders undefended and depleting our arsenals to fight other countries’ wars,” Trump said. “But under the Trump administration, those days are over.”

South African opposition figure Julius Malema led his Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party on Sunday in chants of “Kill the Boer,” “Shoot to kill,” and “Kill the farmer,” while President Cyril Ramaphosa stayed quiet.

Malema posted footage of his own chant on X, including the incendiary words of the chant in his post.

The chant, which South African courts have refused to ban despite its potential for violent incitement and its apparent violation of the South African Constitution’s ban on hate speech, came up last week in Ramaphosa’s meeting in the Oval Office with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Trump made Ramaphosa sit through a video, including footage of Malema leading the chant, after the South African leader pushed back on Trump’s claims of “genocide” in his country.

When pressed by a reporter about whether he has “denounced that type of language,” Ramaphosa claimed, “Oh, yes. We’ve always done so. As a government, as my own party, we are completely opposed to that.” He referred to his party’s 1955 manifesto, the Freedom Charter.

However, local reporters who questioned Ramaphosa on his return to South Africa noted that he had never actually condemned the “Kill the Boer” chant. Ramaphosa again refused to do so on Saturday:

Ramaphosa invoked the inspirational example of President Nelson Mandela several times during his meeting with Trump. However, notably, Mandela condemned hate speech and embraced Afrikaners as countrymen.

Afrikaner leaders have said that Ramaphosa’s refusal to condemn genocidal language by political leaders should result in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) dismissing South Africa’s case against Israel based on (misquoted) Biblical language referred to by South African lawyers as genocidal.

Ironically, the same lawyer who called for Israel to be condemned also represented Malema in defending his “Kill the Boer” rhetoric.

On Sunday President Trump declared once again that he wants to end the Gaza war “as quickly as possible,” stating publicly what he had long previously been saying privately, according to Axios.

Sky News Arabia is among several outlets to cite unnamed sources Sunday into Monday as saying Trump is likely to announce a new big ceasefire deal, which aims to see the rest of the Israeli hostages come home, within the next days.

“We want to see if we can stop that. And Israel, we’ve been talking to them, and we want to see if we can stop that whole situation as quickly as possible,” Trump said to reporters on Air Force One. He then said he hopes he can give the world good news soon.
