Yet after a short campaign by free speech activists, including the Free Speech Union, which is supporting Coksun, and Conservative leadership candidate Robert Jenrick, the charge has now been re-written after it was pointed out that the allegation is tantamount to a blasphemy prosecution.

Poland: Thousands Protest Against Migration Ahead of Presidential Elections

(AFP) — Several thousand people demonstrated in Warsaw on Saturday against illegal immigration and the pro-European government of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, a week before the EU member chooses a new president.

The protest, organised by the nationalist opposition, drew demonstrators from across Poland, who carried the red and white national flag and chanted slogans such as “no to immigration”.

Immigration is a central issue in the central European country ahead of the May 18 election.

Poland currently hosts around one million refugees from the war in neighbouring Ukraine, and has accused Russia and Belarus of orchestrating a wave of immigration into the European Union member. The head of Iran’s terrorist Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, threatened to “open the gates of Hell” against America and Israel on Thursday, a bellicose declaration reportedly preceding another round of “indirect” American-Iranian talks on Iran’s nuclear program.

The administration of President Donald Trump has launched a negotiation process with the radical Islamist dictatorship in Tehran apparently seeking to establish an agreement to contain Iran’s illegal nuclear development. Three rounds of talks have occurred so far, mediated by the government of Oman. President Trump has described the talks as “direct,” which Iran has rejected; reports following the first round of talks indicated that Iran demanded Oman pass notes back and forth between the Iranian and American delegations, rather than speaking to each other in a civil manner.

The phrase “We’ll always have Paris” originates from the 1942 film Casablanca. In the film, the character Rick (played by Humphrey Bogart) says this line to Ilsa (played by Ingrid Bergman) as they say their goodbyes. It’s a bittersweet moment as they both know that their romance cannot continue, but they will always have the memories of their time together in Paris.
