UK Culture minister Lisa Nandy told UK broadcasters on Friday that “We’re not a government that governs by social media. We govern for the real world”, asserting “I don’t agree for a moment that this government is being driven by what happens on social media””.

Next Tuesday, the European Parliament will discuss with the European Commission the “need to enforce the Digital Services Act to protect democracy on social media platforms, including against foreign interference and biased algorithms.” The Digital Services Act (DSA) is the central European Union legislation regulating social media.

The EU bigwigs in Brussels are up in arms because Elon Musk had a chat on X with Alice Weidel, leader of the Alternative for Germany. The AfD is an increasingly popular right-wing party which the EU establishment wants to isolate in a cordon sanitaire. According to the European Commission, Ms. Weidel’s chat with Mr. Musk “improperly boosts” her agenda over her political rivals ahead of Germany’s upcoming Feb. 23 elections and constitutes “foreign interference” in the German electoral process. THE CONSEQUENCES OF COMMUNISM

Declining rates of marriage and birth, increasing rates of suicide and depression. Censorship, over-taxation, dwindling trust in public institutions. Mass migration. Unaffordable housing. Poverty, weak political leaders, unreliable power grids. This is the modern West, and these are signs of an ill society, a collapsing society. This collapse seems to me to have been precipitated by the noxious tentacles of Neo-Marxist thought reaching into every field, every industry, and every institution.

In the past when I have claimed that the West is communist, I have received pushback. The uneducated and uninformed think that the fact you are able to ‘own’ a piece of real estate and keep ‘money’ in a bank means that the West is not communist. But Neo-Marxism is more insidious, more stealthy than the communism of the past, and I encourage the reader to actually think instead of merely ingesting whatever propaganda free-to-air television force-feeds you about our economy. As you can see in this Sky News report local Muslims and asylum seekers blocked the streets in London to declared jihad against Britain. This pro-Jihad rally in support of Palestinian Jihadists in Gaza took place just two weeks after the October 7 massacre during which Hamas and Islamic Jihad jihadists invaded Israel to rape, murder and kidnap hundreds of Jews for the sake of jihad.

Shockingly, this blatantly biased British reporter attempted to prevent damage to the false image of Islam as a “religion of peace” by claiming the Hamas supporters didn’t know the violent meaning of Jihad (holy war) —as if jihad has ever been associated by the media with anything other than terrorism, rape and murder of non-Muslims.

After declaring that calls for Jihad didn’t violate the law and are not considered a crime, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner delivered an absolutely insane statement. Instead of addressing the real threat of jihadists marching in the streets of London, he focused on blaming free speech on social media where British people have too much freedom to disagree with the police decision to classify calls for Jihad as peaceful chants for some sort of a spiritual Islamic worship.

As you can see in this video, while focusing solely on social media where the calls for Jihad were portrayed as acts of terrorism, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner called to change the current British law, to shut down the debate on social media.

The Daily Signal reports that RMG Research polled three separate segments of the population including what it calls the “Elite 1%”  with postgraduate degrees, earning more than $150,000 annually and live in highly populated areas, “Main Street Americans” who represent roughly 75% of the U.S. population and, finally, federal managers who live near the nation’s Capital city and earn $75,000 or more annually.

When asked if they would most likely be supporting or resisting the Trump administration over the next four years, government managers were almost evenly split with 44% saying they would support the administration and 42% saying they would resist.

Winston Marshall, the former banjoist for the band Mumford and Sons, has called out his native Great Britain for creating a two-tier justice system that holds conservatives, populists, and other anti-establishment thinkers to a different standard than the rest of the population — one of the many unfortunate consequences of the country’s far-left swerve in recent years.

In a recent interview, Marshall sat down with PragerU CEO Marissa Streit and held forth on a number of issues, including his run-in with left-wing cancel culture that ultimately resulted in his departure from Mumford and Sons. He also spoke about the rise of antisemitism in Europe.

During the conversation, Marshall addressed the many cases of British citizens facing prison sentences over social media posts that the government has deemed racist, while crimes committed by migrants and other favored groups receive relatively light sentences, or none at all.
