The United States carried out strikes on Iran in a response to an Iranian drone attack on a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz

The mullah’s hate blowback:

  • The US military says it launched “powerful” strikes on Iran in response to an Iranian drone attack on a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz, as explosions were reported in southern Iran’s Sirik.
  • Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has said the attack “violated” US commitments while noting the US-Iran memorandum of understanding (MoU) gave Tehran control over traffic in the strait.
  • US President Donald Trump had earlier said that the Iranian drone attack on the Ever Lovely cargo ship was “a foolish violation” of the deal.

US strikes Iran after attack on ship in Strait of Hormuz

  • The United States has carried out strikes on Iran in what it says is a response to an Iranian drone attack on a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
  • Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it targeted locations in the region where US forces are deployed in retaliation for the Trump administration’s latest attack.
  • After US-brokered talks, Israel and Lebanon have signed a “framework agreement” that Washington says aims to end “cycle of endless conflict”.
  • Lebanese group Hezbollah has rejected the deal, with one lawmaker saying it will only “serve the interests” of Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has framed the war on Lebanon as being about protecting northern Israel from attack, insisting the current deal will not see Israeli forces withdraw from Lebanon “as long as Hezbollah is not disarmed and as long as there is a threat” to Israel.

Ben Roberts Smith

Stefanovic criticizes war crime law changes

About 24 hours before #Stefanovic boarded the flight, his social media channels lit up with him declaring he was “fired up” by former Australian Federal Police superintendent David Craig’s suggestions that changed the legal definition of a war crime of murder just a year before the nation’s most decorated soldier, Ben Roberts-Smith, was charged with killing non-combatants while serving in Afghanistan.

“Ben Roberts-Smith, set up? I am shocked,” Stefanovic says sarcastically in the clip posted across his social media channels, which would quickly become the talk of Nine’s newsrooms. “It sounds like a targeted adjustment to me as this retrospective shift drags BRS’s service record right into the crosshairs of these new laws. “And get this, the changes made only affect alleged war crimes of murder by soldiers, not ISIS brides. Are you kidding? seems to me that we are perfectly comfortable putting a target on the backs of the men and women who fought for this country while giving a free pass to ones who turned their backs on it.”

‘Israel-Lebanon deal not possible without Hezbollah’s consent’

That means there won’t be a deal. Hezbollah will not disarm, Iran will keep the supply lines open and Israel will keep bombing them until there’s nothing left to bomb.

The agreement between Lebanon and Israel is an “existential threat” to Hezbollah’s presence, Al Jazeera’s Ali Hashem says.

Despite that, the agreement, which includes disarming Hezbollah, can’t be enforced without the group’s consent.

“Without Hezbollah’s consent, this is not going to happen,” Hashem said in Al Jazeera’s Doha studio. “This is going to be another recipe for another confrontation. The Lebanese government isn’t capable of imposing this deal. It’s not the de facto force on the ground.”

The deal, signed earlier today, is about “putting Hezbollah in the corner,” Hashem said.

The Trump administration has said Iran’s unfrozen money will be used to buy US agricultural products, which will then be provided to Iran.

The US rejects any nation’s claim over Hormuz, says Rubio in Bahrain

The US will not accept that Hormuz belongs to any nation-state, Rubio says while meeting with Bahraini leaders in Manama.

“We want a deal with Iran, we don’t want a deal at any price,” he added.

  • US Secretary of State Rubio tells Bahraini leaders in Manama that the US wants to ensure agreement with Iran takes into account the “interest of allies“.
  • Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has rejected a new shipping lane through the Strait of Hormuz, warning that any vessel using it will be in danger.
  • The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency says visits to Iran’s nuclear sites will take place, but Tehran says inspections will only happen once a final deal is reached with the US.

Latest updates:

  • Israel continues to attack southern Lebanon as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the Israeli military is “not going to withdraw” from occupied areas.
  • Lebanese group Hezbollah has accused Israel of targeting civilians trying to return to their homes in Lebanon’s south, killing two people and wounding a third.
  • After a meeting in Bahrain, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says Washington and its Gulf allies have rejected any Iranian fees or restrictions on transit through the Strait of Hormuz.
  • Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned against any crossings of the strait without authorisation, as the critical waterway remains a major source of tension.

‘The only thing the U.S. has to show in return is a document that amounts to an unconditional surrender’

When Trump said that he would only accept unconditional surrender from the Islamic Republic of Iran, nobody thought that he meant that the U.S. would surrender unconditionally to Iran. But that is what his “deal” amounts to. And it all comes from poor planning on the part of his slapdash administration.

Karl Stefanovic’s interview with Tommy Robinson makes it clear that we live in a dictatorship

Australian TV presenter Karl Stefanovic has expressed his shock at a harrowing report on the UK’s Pakistani Muslim grooming gangs in successive interviews with Tommy Robinson and Holly Valance.
“I don’t understand why it’s not a national crisis”
Karl Stefanovic has released a statement after it was confirmed he had left Nine, saying he wished his time at the network “wasn’t ending like this”.
The longtime ‘Today’ host thanked viewers and colleagues after more than two decades with the broadcaster, following controversy over his independent podcast interview with Tommy Robinson.

Billionaire James Packer has defended his long time friend Karl Stefanovic, saying he did not believe the controversial Tommy Robinson podcast interview was “that bad”.
Elon Musk has now weighted in on the story too, replying “Wow” to a post about the furore.

Al Bozo Claims He is “Mainstream” After Karl Stefanovic is Sacked For Tommy Robinson Interview

Update:

‘Impact’: Karl Stefanovic issued warning by Anthony Albanese as PM weighs in on Nine axing controversy

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has issued a warning after being questioned on Karl Stefanovic’s imminent sacking by Nine over his Tommy Robinson podcast.

Anthony Albanese has weighed into the Karl Stefanovic controversy, suggesting the broadcaster had strayed too far from the mainstream.

Nine is expected to drop Today show host Stefanovic imminently after the presenter received widespread criticism for interviewing UK far-right activist Tommy Robinson.

Speaking at a Committee for Economic Development of Australia event at Parliament House on Thursday, Mr Albanese said he would not directly comment on the drama engulfing the network.

However, the Prime Minister, who appeared on The Karl Stefanovic Show earlier this year, did have a warning for media personalities like Stefanovic.

“Look at what’s happened,” the Prime Minister said.

“You go down that road and you go further and further out on the edges of what is mainstream political debate in this country, and you know, I think that can have an impact.”

Banned ISIS bride Hodan Abby to return to Australia, Burka Tony fails to explain…

Can a government hate its own country & people as much as these Labor grubs?

Banned ISIS bride Hodan Abby to return to Australia, Tony Burke says

OUTRAGE: Somalian born ISIS bride Hodan Abby welcomed back to Australia by Anthony Albanese & Tony Burke despite major national security red flags.

Hodan Abby left our country to live under ISIS. Now the Albanese Government has caved and issued her a return permit, with the usual pathetic excuse that “the law made us do it.”

Liberal MP James Paterson is dead right: the Albanese Government have failed at every turn.

These people are NOT welcome here.

Hodan Abby is Somalian, not Australian born, and holds dual citizenship. Strip her passport and deport her straight back to Somalia.

She chose the caliphate over Australia.

We owe her nothing.

Labor once swore they’d never bring this cohort back. Weak borders, weak leadership, same old story.

Pathological liars. Continue reading Banned ISIS bride Hodan Abby to return to Australia, Burka Tony fails to explain…

“Australia is facing a complex mix of threats, thread level ‘too complex’, spooks need more powers, resources & laws to keep Australians safe”

Trusting government spooks with ever more power over Australians instead of targeting Islam with the full force of existing laws is self-defeating. Al Bozo & Burka Tony have already derailed the Royal Commission looking into the Bondi Massacre  by excluding Islam from their findings, which is a disgrace.

The Albanese government has been accused of a “complete mismanagement” of the ISIS brides cohort after the nation’s top spy addressed the ongoing terror threat against Australia.

The Coalition has claimed there is “little prospect” of a reduction in Australia’s terror threat from “probable” to “possible”, with the party accusing the Albanese government of a “complete mismanagement” of the ISIS brides cohort.

On Wednesday, Australian Security Intelligence Organisation Director-General Mike Burgess warned the nation faced a more volatile security environment marked by rising social tensions, espionage and politically motivated violence.

The nation’s terror threat remains at “probable”, with knowledge of a specific planned attack needed to escalate it further to “expected”.

In his address, Mr Burgess stressed: “I do not believe the system was designed for a situation like the one we now face”.

On Wednesday, Mr Burgess warned the nation faced a more volatile security environment marked by rising social tensions. Picture: NewsWire/Martin Ollman Shadow home affairs minister Jonathon Duniam has demanded the Albanese government ensure ASIO’s warnings are “taken extremely seriously”.

“It is fair to say that Australia is facing a complex mix of threats – including from foreign interference, espionage, online radicalisation, and antisemitic violence,” he told SkyNews.com.au.

“Religiously motivated violent extremism, including Islamist extremism, clearly remains one of the most serious and most enduring of these threats.

“The Albanese government’s complete mismanagement of the ISIS Brides’ returns to Australia has trained a very clear spotlight on the need for far better prioritisation of community safety. UK: “It is unhelpful & irresponsible to attribute sexual violence & abuse to Paki Mohammedans”

Sure thing. It does not help them to continue with their rape spree when people shine a light on it. That’s the purpose of the exercise.

Rape Crisis Org Says It’s ‘Racist’ To Notice Muslim Rape Gangs Abusing UK Girls

The Rape Crisis organization, designed to help and ‘believe’ rape victims, completely invalidates their experiences by calling their testimonies ‘unhelpful’ and ‘irresponsible.’

Rape Crisis Org Says It’s ‘Racist’ To Notice Muslim Rape Gangs Abusing UK Girls

When Jen was 17, she was introduced to a gang of Iraqi Kurdish Muslim men who called her and other girls “white trash” and “English pig‑dogs” while they raped and trafficked them across the U.K. to rape gang ”parties.”

Jen decided to speak up in the Rape Gang Inquiry Report “so that religiously-motivated coercive abuse is properly recognized and confronted, even when doing so is politically, culturally, or socially controversial.”

In response, Rape Crisis England and Wales, a U.K. “feminist” social services organization “working to end sexual violence and abuse,” released a statement calling the report racist for pointing out that 95% of the gang members are Muslim and exploited girls because they were white.

“It is unhelpful and irresponsible to attribute sexual violence and abuse perpetration uniquely to specific races, ethnicities or religions,” the organization states. “Framing the issue squarely in terms of immigration undermines joined-up, community-based responses to tackling misogyny and rape culture.”

The organization highlights how much they “commend the courage of the survivors who shared their horrific experiences” and how important it is for victims to be “believed and supported.” The organization even has an anti-racism statement where they explain, “just as sexual violence and misogyny are a continuum, we also know that racist violence is too.”

Yet, when rape survivors notice they are victims of racism at the hands of an ideology that views white women as property, the organization releases a statement condemning the report for being hateful towards Muslims. UN Watch: Guterres wants your money to fight “climate chaos”

Jo Nova

The UN bureaucrats don’t want to go begging for cash among difficult right wing populist leaders, they want their own money. So, yet again, they’re proposing some form of carbon tax on ships and planes, supposedly to save the world from beachy weather.

If they succeed, they will just ask for more. There’s no accountability. No limits. Just an infinite array of ways to “help us” by taking our money.

The UN’s plan to levy taxes on global trade is a sinister power grab

If these precedents on emissions charges and compulsory offsets stand, the appetite of unelected institutions for fiscal power will grow

U.N. Secretary-General Demands $1.3 Trillion a Year to Fight ‘Climate Chaos’

U.N. Secretary-General Demands $1.3 Trillion a Year to Fight ‘Climate Chaos’

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres called for a massive increase in global climate spending, arguing that governments and financial institutions must devote significantly more resources to addressing climate-related challenges.

In a special address at London Climate Action Week on Monday, Guterres said that governments must invest more heavily in climate-related initiatives.

“We must do far more to protect people and communities from the here-and-now effects of climate chaos,” Guterres said. “Because even at full speed, we cannot outrun climate change. Its impacts are already here, compounding and cascading.”

Guterres also highlighted Africa’s energy potential while arguing that the continent receives too little investment despite its abundant natural resources.
