Let us be clear: Israel does not fight for recognition or approval.

It fights for its survival and for the values that underpin the free world — freedom, democracy and human dignity.

These are the values that Hamas and its backers, including Iran, seek to destroy.

Israel has always adhered to the highest standards of international law, not because it seeks validation from global institutions, but because it is the right thing to do.

The ICC’s hypocrisy will not deter Israel from holding itself to those standards. However, Israel will also not allow its enemies to weaponize those same laws against it.

This week’s arrest of Alan Jones shows just how we have strayed from the principles of justice, with our media and police heavyweights flagrantly ignoring the rules we have in place to ensure a fair trial. This has all the earmarks of a hit job led by feminist journalists determined to take down the man who for decades was king of the airways, hugely influential, with a massive following.

Centre stage is SMH journalist Kate McClymont revelling in her ongoing #MeToo campaign targeting prominent men. She was glowing as police acknowledged that her four-year vendetta against Jones had prompted the police campaign to go after him. In classic trial by media, McClymont published an article last year full of graphic allegations of sexual misconduct. The NSW government followed up with a task force, which has spent months beavering away digging up dirt, with the help of McClymont’s efforts to recruit more “victims”.

Do taxpayers really approve of the spending of hundreds of thousands from our police budget trying to prove some decades-old claims of gropes of bottoms or other bits of husky young men by this 83-year-old? If Jones was not such a prominent figure, would police have expended these resources on allegations of this nature?

For the #MeToo mob, Jones is the biggest scalp of all. “The left has long despised Jones for his contempt for progressive politics, uncompromising social attitudes and influence over national and state politics,” wrote Aaron Patrick in The Nightly.

The UN’s plan involves funneling billions of dollars in taxpayer money from member nations, including the United States, to third-world countries.
Under the plan, tax dollars will supposedly be used to “fight climate change” in the developing world.

However, experts warn that very little of the funds would actually reach third-world countries if any at all.

According to the Financial Times, globalists expressed urgency to usher in the plan ahead of Trump’s return to the White House.

Foreign government officials attending the UN’s “climate change” summit, known as COP29, have been brainstorming to speed up the rollout of de facto global climate taxes to fund green energy development.

However, they fear that Trump will shut down the scheme once he’s back in the Oval Office.

Officials from countries including France, Spain, and Kenya are pushing to plan so-called “solidarity levies.”

For around the first two decades, the history of the UNFCCC was characterised by relative inertia. Uproar at U.N. Climate Summit as Envoys Say Proposed $250 Billion a Year from West Not Enough

A draft text released Friday from the environmental negotiators at the U.N.’s COP29 climate alarmism summit would demand that wealthy nations commit to gifting poorer countries $250 billion a year between now and 2035.

Climate activists responded to the proposed contribution with outrage, claiming the sum is “paltry” and “a joke.”

COP29 — formally the Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) — is the 19th edition of the U.N.’s official assembly to discuss how to globally address the alleged climate crisis. It is currently taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan, and scheduled to conclude on Friday, though the disagreements over the provisions in the outcome text as it stands will “surely push this round of talks into the weekend,” according to the U.N.’s own news service.
