Indigenous Minister Linda Burney is facing calls for her resignation after remaining silent on the crisis that triggered a snap curfew in Alice Springs.
Linda says the Alice Springs crisis can “only be addressed” with more billions to be given to the Aboriginal industry.

Maybe Alice would be fixed by – cashless welfare – no welfare where there a no jobs – cutting drugs and alcohol – introduction of responsible parenting – policing DV – crushing child sex abuse But, we’d only do that if we wanted to fix the problems

“Apparently this happens regularly before assemblies,” Ms Panahi said.
“It’s a message that has been normalised and every corporation, every politician, every celebrity, you can’t land a plane without having been welcomed to your own country and it’s all part of the same message that we’re not a legitimate country.
“It is a dangerous message.”
